Asalamualaikum, as usual I would like to share my information with all of you, it is about Somali pirates. Last weekend we always heard about 'kidnapping' term on news and newspapers. What really shocked was only small group of Somali pirates about 60 peoples with small boats but completely with AK47 rifles can captured a huge ship easily, it hard to imagine how suffered a people who has been kidnapped by these pirates. Last week we also heard that the pirates released all Malaysian after some negotiations has been made by both sides were fully agreed by the pirates and our government. It shown that these pirates were really powerful, they can defeat one strong government like Malaysia to nod to their wish. The latest news is the Somali pirates has captured Ukraine MV Faina ship which is believe fully loaded with Russian tanks and missiles. All the traders from Europe and Asian are quite worry to use Somalia coast as their way to the East and West. Somali pirates prepared on Sunday to unload rocket-propelled grenades and anti-aircraft guns from a Ukrainian freighter seized by them even as foreign warships surrounded the vessel. The pirates were demanding a US$20 million (RM68.9 million) ransom for the release of MV Faina, its 20 surviving crew and cargo of weapons, which include 33 Russian tanks. It was seized on Thursday as it neared the Kenyan port of Mombasa. The situation is getting worse as U.S and Russia threat to assault the Gulf of Aden, port of the pirates, if they do not release the crews and give back all the Russian’s weapon. But look like the Somali’s pirates are scare of this threat and they are get ready to wave the white flags. The News Straits Time

Asalamualaikum, today as usual I would like to share some information about men's double national badminton player ,Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong finally ended their title drought this season by retaining the Macau Open men's doubles crown yesterday. But our number one single player ,Lee Chong Wei,was beaten 19-21,15-21 by Indonesian Taufik Hidayat in the final. Both Kien Keat-Boon Heong beating Taiwanese Fang Chieh-min-Lee Sheng-mu 21-16,21-18 in 31-minute final. The Malaysian often made a silly mistake and made life difficult for themselves. But luckily they were more determined and fired up than the Taiwanese. The win was a big morale after they failed to defend the titles at the All-England and Malaysian and Swiss Opens.Maybe this is turning point for their next success in the future. Most of the Malaysian hope that all badminton player will perform better in every tournament because this is only sport that always contribute a medal in Olympic games.

Asalamualaikum,as usual today I would like to share information about Adolf Hitler .Adolf Hitler (20 April 1889 – 30 April 1945) was an Austrian-born politician who led the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei NSDAP), the Nazi Party. He was Chancellor of Germany (1933–1945) and Führer und Reichskanzler of Germany (1934–1945).

Hitler was a decorated veteran of World War I who led the Nazi Party in Weimar Germany. Following his imprisonment after a 1923 failed coup, he gained support by promoting nationalism, antisemitism and anti-communism with charismatic oratory and propaganda. The Nazis executed or assassinated many of their opponents, restructured the state economy, rearmed the armed forces and established a babarian and fascist dictatorship. The German invasion of Poland in 1939 caused the British and French Empires to declare war on Germany, leading to the outbreak of World War II in Europe.

The Axis Powers occupied most of continental Europe and parts of Asia and Africa until defeated by the Allies. By 1945, Germany was in ruins. Hitler's bid for territorial conquest and racial subjugation caused the deaths of 43 million people, including the systematic genocide of an estimated six million Jews as well as various additional "undesirable" populations in what is known as the Holocaust.

During the final days of the war in 1945, as Berlin was being invaded by the Red Army, Hitler married Eva Braun.Less than 24 hours later, the two committed suicide in the Führerbunker.

The main character is Isabella Snow and Edward Cullen. They meet on the first day at school where Bella notice a group of beautiful people and isolated from others. Then she meets on of the group in her biology class and they were lab partners. On the first day, she believes that Edward hates her because he wasn’t even looking at her and he even sits at the edge of the table far away from her. He also looks dark and stiff until the end of the class he just stormed off. On the next day he wasn’t even at school.
After a while he absent from school, he at the biology class he is very friendly with Bella and talk to her normally. She was very confuse for a while why was he acted that way on the first day. Then the next day Edward saves Bella in the accident. The only thing is that she believes that Edward was very far away from her and how could he manage to save her. Edward in other story try to convince Bella that he was right beside her during the accident and he keeps telling Bella that she must have concussion because she hit her head pretty hard.
Unfortunately Bella was convincing that he was not beside her at that time and she was fine. She tried to make Edward to tell the truth but he refuses and keeps telling her the same thing. On the next day, Edward starts to avoid her. He avoids her for weeks but still Edward cannot stay away from her and so does she. She learnt what Edward is when she went for a trip at the La Push where Jacob Black the son of her father friend Billy Black told her a legend that The Cullen are not welcome there because of they are the only enemies for his clan. One day she was invited to watched the Cullen played baseball and they have uninvited visitors. The other clan of Vampire that travels. At first they wanted to join the game but apparently they saw and recognize that Bella was not one of them. One of the visitors taught Bella was for snack or something Edward become fiercer. The Cullen insists that she was their friend and protecting her from the visitor but not for long. They want to hunt Bella down. Edward insists to take Bella away from Forks and they did. They went to Phoenix, Edward stayed behind to make sure that they didn’t get Bella. Unfortunately James the visitor find Bella’s mother house and tricked Bella that he had her mother with him. He told Bella to meet him alone and she did. She realizes that he tricked her when she saw her video with her mother and at the same time Edward was searching for her. She taught that she’s dead but she hear Edward calling her and suck the poison from her blood where James bites her. She saved but she had four broken ribs, her leg also broken and a crack at the skull.

Title: New Moon

I finally finish the second book New Moon. Well at first they are doing very well together. After that it was Bella’s birthday. The Cullen wishes to celebrate Bella’s birthday at their house, but Bella doesn’t want to celebrate her birthday and also receiving birthday gift from them. Edward and Alice Cullen insist that Bella celebrate her birthday at their house. So Bella cannot keep resisting celebrating her birthday at The Cullen’s place.
When Bella open her birthday gift, she cut her hand...it’s bleeding. Jasper, Alice mate still cannot hold for human blood especially Bella’s blood. Edward tried to protect Bella but she end up fall on the floor with the broken plate. Her arms bleed more and Alice, Emmet, and Rosalie hold Jasper and get him outside. Meanwhile, Edward and Carlisle went to treat the cut.
After the accident they still feel bad about it and The Cullen were leaving Forks. Bella was the last one to know and the hardest part for Bella. She was lifeless for four months. She keep having nightmares and screaming because of it. Charlie, Bella’s father was very worried about Bella and he tried to ask Bella to live with her mother and leave Forks, but she refuse and that night she tried to go for a movie with Jessica her classmate. After the movie, she saw a group of men that followed her a year ago where Edward saved her from them. She felt scared, and because of that she hears Edward’s voice and she felt that the pain she had erased a little.
She is friend again with Jacob Black, her father best friend’s son. She felt the adrenaline again and she heard Edward voice again. When she landed in the water she do not know where to swim to and her leg was cram she give up trying to swim and she drown. She ignores Edward voice in her head and she felt very happy to hear it and suddenly she was saved by Jacob.
After the accident Jacob send Bella home, but he smelled a Vampire at Bella house he was turn back to La Push but Bella saw Carlisle’s car outside her home. She demands to go back to her house but not with Jacob. When she get inside she saw Alice was there. Alice tells Bella that she saw Bella was trying to jump from the cliff and she hurried there.
On the next morning, Charlie went to Henry’s funeral. Jacob was there outside visiting Bella meanwhile Alice was there to. Jacob pick up a phone call and it was Carlisle searching for Charlie. Asalamualaikum, I would like too tell about the future civilization,
We always thinking what has happened to the other past civilization, how the great empire like Roman, Persian and Greek fall easily. What make these greats empire fall? How these empires fall? What the major factor that contributes to fall of these empires. If we want to predict what will happen in the future civilization we have to study what has happened in the past civilization. There are many factor likes economies, humanities, natural disasters, wars, political, and many other unexpected factors that contribute to the fall of one civilization. In the modern days, the same thing also can happen but it can happen in new ways. If we make some research from our reading through newspaper or internet, it shown that all the same things can happen again. From our observation and study we have listed several factors that will happen in the future. Many scenarios have been suggested. Some that will almost certainly end humanity are certain to occur, but on a very long timescale.

Firstly, we look the at the humanity aspect, some threats for humanity come from humanity itself. The expectation that has been researched most is a nuclear war or another chemical weapon with similar possibilities. It is difficult to predict whether it would affect humanity, but it is certainly could alter civilization, like nuclear winter season that has happened in 1816 or Hiroshima and Nagasaki massacres. We have seen some countries try to develop the nuclear weapon for war like Israel and United State of America. Both country share same ideology that can ruin and destroy the world. Nowadays, most of people depend on computer; by using and exploited the computer rapidly can produce a super intelligent will take unforeseen actions or we have to compete with the robots in the future. Maybe in the future we can see some of computer expert doing a criminal by using the internet for example hacking the other country computer in order to cause a clumsy condition in administration, defences and economies. In Japan, there are many robots take over in industrial section such automotive, construction and many more. It is not impossible if the using of robot in the future will spread widely in the other countries.

World population and agricultural crisis: The 20th century saw a rapid increase in human population due to medical advances and massive increase in agricultural productivity made by the Green Revolution. Between 1950 and 1984, as the Green Revolution transformed agriculture around the globe, world grain production increased by 250%. The Green Revolution in agriculture helped food production to keep in constant supply to the worldwide population growth. The energy for the Green Revolution was provided by fossil fuels in the form of fertilizers (natural gas), pesticides (oil), and hydrocarbon fuelled irrigation. Some expert from U.S.A said that in the future U.S.A has to reduce its population about one-third and world has to reduce about two-third in order to achieve a sustainable economy and stable economy in the future.

Residents and security guards of Bandar Botanic paid no attention to the large number of lorries that kept coming and going to a house there.
In this up-market housing estate no one considered anything illegal was going on.

They were wrong. Yesterday, Customs officers raided the house and found more than RM4 million in smuggled cigarettes stashed there.

There was only standing room in the house -- inside were 46,000 cartons of cigarettes taking up the entire ground floor.

The department had received a tip-off about the house and after keeping it under surveillance raided it at midnight. Although the lights and fans were on, no one was in.
There were more than nine million sticks of cigarettes with brand names such as Richman, Lucky Gold and Dunston.

Customs officials believed the cigarettes were to be sold in rural areas such as Felda schemes where demand for cheap cigarettes was high.

It is not clear how or from where the cigarettes were brought in. However, the words "Made in UAE" were found on the cardboard boxes containing the cartons.

It is believed that all loading and unloading activities were carried out during the day, so as to minimise suspicion.

The house is believed to have been rented and authorities are now trying to trace the owners in order to find out who were the tenants.

Top 10: General Interview Tips

Majority of the interviewees go to an interview without much preparation. These ten interview tips will help you go through an interview with a breeze!

Number 10
Plan Ahead
Be Prepared! Do a little homework prior to the interview. Browse through the employers' website and learn something about the company before you attend your interview. Research the company and the position if possible, as well as the people you will meet with at the interview. Review your work experiences. Be ready to support past career accomplishments with specific information targeted towards the companies' needs. Prepare your facts and get them right!

Number 9
Role Play
Once you have finished your research, begin role playing (rehearsing). Be prepared for questions that are frequently asked by employers such as "Tell me about yourself" or "Why should we hire you?" Write down answers if it helps to make your presentation more concise. Try to keep your answers to the information your new employer will want to know. It is good to get the advice from those who are more experienced or better still, from the HR people to get a clear picture on what the recruiters are looking for.

Number 8
First Impression Counts!
You never get a second chance to make a first impression! Dress professionally and appropriately (according to the job you are applying for). Flip-flop sandals and singlet are definitely out.

Number 7
Be On Time!
If possible, try getting to the venue before the actual interview day to see how long it will take. Public transport may be unreliable, you may have been stuck in heavy traffic, but however reasonable your excuses are, they won't change the fact that your chances are reduced if you are late. Remember that first impression counts!

Worse comes to worst, if you are going to be late, ring your interviewer(s) and let them know. It is a matter of courtesy.

Number 6
Be Positive!
Don't criticise past employers, particularly within the industry. Focus on positive achievements and views. In particular, avoid negative comments about past employers,. And don't talk too much! You may be shooting yourself in your foot (literally) when you disclose too much of information that you do not wish to be known in the first place.

Number 5
Encourage
Encourage the interviewer to share information about his or her company. Demonstrate your interest.

Number 4
Eye Contact
Maintain eye contact with your interviewer. Show that you want the job with interest.

Number 3
Adapt and relate
Listen and adapt. Be sensitive to the style of the interviewer. Try to relate your answers to the interviewer and his or her company. Focus on achievements relevant to the position. Talk about specific achievements!

Interviewers like to know how you felt about a particular success. Some will ask for specific examples of things you've done that you're particularly proud of; how you solved problems; how you learned - and improved - from difficult situations.

Number 2
Be honest!
There really is no point lying about your background and/or skills. If you get caught, or even manage to get away with it by getting employed and then get found out, you can be sure you won't be around for long! Job interviews are about matching needs - if there isn't a good match, then chances are that the job won't work out.

Number 1
And finally, don't give up!
The fact is that you will not be offered every job you applied for, however perfect you think you may be for it. Feedback from interviews where you have been turned down can be invaluable for improving future results. Ask politely if they can give you any feedback. Always remember that there is a job out there
for you somewhere.

Peace be upon u.

Today I would like to share about smoking syndrom for teen.

Smoking among schoolchildren needs to be looked at with greater urgency.

A survey has revealed that there are a few thousand schoolchildren lighting up each year for the first time.

What is worrying is that students as young as 10 years old are smoking. Female students are also puffing away.

The report says those between the ages of 13 and 15 form the highest percentage of teenage smokers in Malaysia.
Smoking used to be a common disciplinary problem in secondary schools but now it is not surprising to find smoking as a disciplinary problem in primary schools, too. Students in school uniforms smoke discreetly in public places.

They hide the cigarette within their palms and take quick puffs when no one is watching.

Some students who are addicted to cigarettes smoke outside their school gates before entering the school.

The hardcore smoker cannot be bothered with school rules and lights up in the school toilet.

A concerted effort is needed by the authorities to tackle the smoking scourge among students.

A concerted effort is needed by the authorities to tackle the smoking scourge among students.

Schools have to be more stringent in their checks on students who smoke in school and outside. Teachers have to be more vigilant of such students.

There are many tell-tale signs of students who smoke, which can be used as indicators to haul up the smokers.

Their lips are dark, their breath has a nauseating odour of tobacco and their uniforms, too, smell of tobacco.

Many prefects and students know of friends who smoke but do not report them to the teachers for fear of getting into trouble.

Anti-smoking campaigns and health talks by hospital authorities should be organised regularly to educate students in schools about the dangers of smoking.

Students have to be made to realise that smoking has been deemed a chronic illness and that death occurs after a number of years of smoking.

Gory pictures and graphic images of the effects of smoking on smokers must be shown to the students.

Police and enforcement officers should nab students who smoke and detain them in the police station.

They should call their parents and slap them with a heavy fine and warning.

Parents of students who smoke have also to be hauled up and given a severe warning.

It is baffling how parents can be unaware of their children's habits.

ladiis finger is a vegetable that’s available throughout the year.
Originating from Africa and coming from the same plant family as cotton and hibiscus, gumbo as it’s known in the United States is now commonly grown in the tropics.
It can can grow as high as 1.83 metres and has hibiscus-like yellow flowers.
Easily grown from seeds, it’s best to plant them on raised beds that are 30-60cm apart.
Soon after flowering within a few weeks, the pods will start to grow.
Okra is best harvested while they’re still young, as the older they get, the woodier their pods will become, making them inedible.
Just four to five plants are sufficient to produce enough pods for a family’s meal. That’s why this plant is found in many home gardens.
Picking bende (as okra is known locally) can be tricky as the vegetable is covered with short fibrous “hairs” that can irritate bare hands. To avoid your hands from becoming itchy, harvest okra with a pair of gloves.
The usual way of selecting the best okra is to snap off the end of the pods — if they break easily, then they’re ready to be eaten. As such, it’s best to choose okras that are less than 10cm.
Those difficult to snap off are turning woody.
When cut, the vegetables secrete sticky sap which makes for a good stew.
This versatile vegetable can be eaten raw, stir-fried and deep-fried, or added into curries for flavour.

Top 10: Interview Mistakes

Most of the time, potential job candidates are not aware of the mistakes they make before and during the interview. These small mistakes that might cost them a job.

Number 10
Running Late Without Notice.
Turning up late for the interview and never calling to say you are running late will not give a good impression to your potential employer. If you are running late, do inform your interviewer and apologize that you are running late and ask if it is possible for you to attend the interview a little bit late or just request for the interview to be rescheduled if that is not possible.

Of course, the worst that could happen which could quash your employment chances is your attitude when you do not even bother to turn up at an interview without calling.

Number 9
Lack of Preparation
Preparation for an interview includes:

1. Research on the background of the company
2. Bring along an extra copy of your resumé and relevant supporting documents, just in case
3. Be prepared with the answers for possible common interview questions
4. Rehearse on your speech, clarity, confidence, etc. prior to the interview

In the event that you are required to attend an interview at short notice and you applied for a job with no company description stated in the ad, keep your cool and ask questions during the interview to know more about the company.

It is recommended that you carry an extra copy of your resumé in your working bag just in case you are called for a job interview during your lunch/tea break at short notice.

Number 8
Lack of Confidence/Over Confidence
Lack of confidence could be perceived by potential employers as your lack of preparation; being nervous could also be giving the impression that you are trying to cover something or is lying. Being over confident may turn interviewers off as you may be viewed as being too big-headed or you may be viewed as a braggart who talks more than you deliver.

Number 7
Talking Too Much
It is not wise to talk too much and fail to listen and understand the questions asked. Listen carefully to answer the questions asked, be clear and concise in your answers to show that you understood the question and are not just rambling for the sake of talking. Be specific and respond directly to the questions asked. Be careful with your selection of words and think before you say anything to decide if what you are going to say is necessary or appropriate.

Number 6
Inappropriate Dressing
Avoid revealing clothes or being underdressed - stick to conventional dressing, i.e. mono colours and minimal accessories.

Number 5
Body Language
Avoid weak or too strong handshakes, minimal or almost no eye contact with the interviewer and slouching when seated. Keep a straight back when seated and refrain from fidgeting or shaking your legs, twitching your nose, biting your nails or other signs that showed your nervousness. Take a deep breath to remain calm and be aware of your body language. Your body language tells your interviewers more about you than your speech.

Number 4
Criticising or Slating Your Previous Employers/Company/Colleagues or Complaining About Your Day
No one likes a person who complains, keep in mind that it is not a recommended icebreaker. You are being interviewed to promote yourself as the best possible candidate for the post, not to criticise others or complain about the train/car that broke down on your way to the interview.

Number 3
Lying or Concealing Information
Never attempt to lie or cover up any vital information, no matter how important you thought it was for you to conceal the information. You may land the job but how long it will be before you are found out?

Number 2
Failing to Ask Questions
Ask questions to show that you are interested in the job, lack of enthusiasm is a killer of your chances of employment.

Number 1
Money Talk
Never bring up talk on salary at the beginning of the interview. Only talk about salary or your employment package, i.e. remuneration, benefits, etc. when the interviewer asks you or the matter has not been brought up and the interview is near its end.

assalamualaikum....
i want to share some information about menstrual cycle...
In the female reproductive system, the menstrual cycle is a recurring cycle of physiologic changes that occurs in reproductive-age females. Overt menstruation (where there is blood flow from the vagina) occurs primarily in humans and close evolutionary relatives such as chimpanzees. The females of other species of placental mammal have estrous cycles, in which the endometrium is completely reabsorbed by the animal (covert menstruation) at the end of its reproductive cycle. This article focusses on the human menstrual cycle. The menstrual cycle is under the control of the hormone system and is necessary for reproduction. It may be divided into several phases: menstruation, the follicular phase, and the luteal phase.Ovulation defines the transition from the follicular phase to the luteal phase. Counted from the first day of menstrual flow, the length of each phase varies from woman to woman and cycle to cycle. The average cycles length is 28 days.Stimulated by gradually increasing amounts of estrogen in the follicular phase, the lining of the uterus thickens. Follicles in the ovary begin developing under the influence of a complex interplay of hormones, and after several days one or occasionally two become dominant (non-dominant follicles atrophy and die). The dominant follicle releases an ovum, or egg, in an event called ovulation. After ovulation, the remains of the dominant follicle in the ovary become a corpus luteum; this body has a primary function of producing large amounts of progesterone. Under the influence of progesterone, the endometrium (uterine lining) changes to prepare for potential implantation of an embryo to establish a pregnancy. If implantation does not occur within approximately two weeks, the corpus luteum will die, causing sharp drops in levels of both progesterone and estrogen. These hormone drops cause the uterus to shed its lining in a process termed menstruation.

Clean Resume

It is important to keep your job application free from typo or grammatical errors. You may ask what is the big deal anyway with keeping your resumé error-free?

By not bothering to keep your resumé "clean", you are telling the person who reads your resumé that you could not be bothered to make extra efforts to check your spelling and grammar, hence you would be seen as "not being interested enough" in your job application.

A faultless job application will give no reason for the prospective employer to mull over petty mistakes that could have been easily avoided by clicking on the spell-check button.

By dotting all your I's and crossing all your T's, the recruiter will be focused only on your cover letter and resumé, allowing your application to be given due consideration.

Always make sure that you get your addresses right.

Get the proper address, i.e. the title of the recipient in your cover letter. Find out who will be the recipient of your job application. If you only know that your application should be sent to the Senior Manager or the Human Resource Manager, go the extra mile and find out who that person is. Call the company up or surf their website for more information. Personal touches never fail to touch, literally.

However, never ever spell the title wrongly or worse, to misspell the name.

A Ms Elisa Jon will not be amused if you spell her name: Mr Eliza John. If you want to do things right, do it right the first time. Never think that it does not matter. All the small things will add up to a lot and a job application tattered with minor errors all over will be regarded as messy and disorganised, jeopardising your chances of getting the interview.

Get the mailing address right too. The last thing you want is for the application to be sent back to you. Even if your application gets to the recruiter, getting the address wrong or misspelling some words in the address underlines the fact that you are careless and could not even copy a simple address onto the envelop and your cover letter.

Also avoid simple grammatical mistakes. By writing `I are' instead of `I am' you are only exposing your poor command of English. Get your subject and verb agreement correct too. Relearn the basic grammar that you learnt way back in primary school and avoid the mistakes when writing your cover letter or resumé.

Remember, some extra efforts to ensure that your resumé is "clean" will not guarantee you the job but will help to increase your chances of being shortlisted.

Assalamualaikum w.b.t
Today i want to share with all of u about the history of 'Utusan Malaysia'.Utusan Malaysia started publication from Singapore as Utusan Melayu on May 29, 1939, catering to the Jawi-literate in then British Malaya. It became an influential medium for the populace to voice their opinions towards the colonial government in pre-independence Malaya.

The broadsheet was the first of four newspapers, published by the Utusan Group (Malay: Kumpulan Utusan), established in 1938 in Singapore as "Utusan Melayu Press Limited". In February 1958, five months after Malaya gained Independence from the British government, Utusan Melayu moved its headquarters and operations to Kuala Lumpur, the nation's capital.

In 1997, the Group made its entry into the world of multimedia with the launch of "Utusan Malaysia On-Line", Malaysia's first Online Newspaper in full text and visuals. The service provided, in collaboration with Telekom Malaysia, enables pay-subscribers to read exact replicas of the Group's newspapers, including Utusan Malaysia. On July 2, 2001, "Utusan Education Portal" (Portal Pendidikan Utusan) was launched. The free service has received recognition from MIMOS (the "Malaysian Institute of Microelectronic Systems") as one of the top five education websites in Malaysia in 2001. Utusan had also won the "IFRA Publish Asia 2003 Award" for the "Best in Print" category on March 20, 2002. It was the first award to be won by the newspaper at the international level. That's all..thanks you..

hello...the information below it about brain.....
The brain is the center of the nervous system in animals. All vertebrates, and the majority of invertebrates, have a brain. Some "primitive" animals such as jellyfishes and starfishes have a decentralized nervous system without a brain, while sponges lack any nervous system at all. In vertebrates, the brain is located in the head, protected by the skull and close to the primary sensory apparatus of vision, hearing, balance, taste, and smell.
Brains can be extremely complex. The human brain contains roughly 100 billion neurons, linked with up to 10,000 synaptic connections each. These neurons communicate with one another by means of long protoplasmic fibers called axons, which carry trains of signal pulses called action potentials to distant parts of the brain or body and target them to specific recipient cells.

There are millions of insect exist in this world, some big some small even 1 type of bug contain many species. Among million there is one insect which i like most and that is "mantis".

It was a clever and steay insect. some say it was a perfect assassin. In hunting it can wait for long and move slowly until it near the prey then lashes out at remarkable speed. When come hiding, with it body colour and shape which is thin n usually green in colour. It was hardly been seen on tree or grass.

I believe usually mantis you saw before is very small until you can kill it with 2 fingers. However believe or not some big mantis can even hunt a snakes down.

Work-Life Balance: Pipe Dream or Possibility?

by Molly Luffy

Work-Life Balance: Pipe Dream or Possibility?

So which is it? A pipe dream or a possibility?

For those of you who haven't recently experienced the joy of a balanced life, then I can guess your answer. It's probably "pipe dream." Or is it "pipe dream you stupid *#+#@#$%!" If it's the second then you need this article worse than I thought!!

But even if you think it's a pipe dream and even if you think I'm crazy for suggesting that it's a possibility, there may still be hope for you. You know you can achieve anything in life if you really, really want it. And my guess is that many of you really, really want a work/life balance.

So what do you need to do to achieve this wonderful state? Well, as with achieving any goal, it's gonna take some hard work, ingenuity and a serious commitment to making it happen.

The busy professionals (let's call them stars for fun) I know who have successfully integrated their work and life outside of work take this whole balance thing very seriously. They are super-successful but yet they aren't at the office 12 hours a day. They're at home with their kids, or helping their aging parents or volunteering for their favorite charities or even out taking rumba lessons! "How do they do it?" you ask.
Five simple reasons.
Number 1
They are super organized.
You won't find piles of papers and file folders strewn about their work areas. No way. They keep their offices filed, clean, and organized. And no - it is not because they all have secretaries. In fact, many of them don't. They understand how much time they save by staying organized, so they have made it a way of life.

At any given time you can go to these people, ask them for something and they can find it in under a minute. Do you know how much time is wasted looking for work-related items that are improperly filed? A ton!

So just get organized. Read a book about it. Implement the basics. For example when you are opening mail, make a decision on the spot about each piece you touch. Don't let junk mail take up precious real estate in your office. Dump it already!!

How To Achieve Balance Between Work and Life

Now I want to share with you about Amethyst Gemstone meaning

Crystalline quartz in shades of purple, lilac or mauve is called amethyst, a stone traditionally worn to guard against drunkeness and to instill a sober mind. The word amethyst comes from the Greek meaning "without drunkenness" and amethyst is beleived to protect one from poison.

-Power Stone

It is used as a dream stone and to help insomnia. Put an amethyst under your pillow to bring about pleasant dreams, or rub it across your forehead to offer relief from a headache.

-Protection Stone

Ancient Egyptians used the amethyst guard against guilty and fearful feelings. It has been worn as protection from self-deception, as well as a protection against witchcraft. The amethyst has long been used to open the spiritual and psychic centers, making it one of the power stones. It is also used as a meditation aid when worn as a necklace.

-Wisdom Stone

The amethyst is known as the Bishop's Stone and is still worn by Catholic Bishops. The amethyst symbolizes piety, humility, sincerity and spiritual wisdom. It is thought the amethyst is the perfect stone to symbolize The Age of Aquarius.

-Healing properties of Amethyst

Amethyst is a gemstone often worn by healers, as it has the power to focus energy. A healer will usually wear several pieces of jewelry with amethysts set in silver, especially an amethyst necklace. The person to be healed will have an Amethyst to hold while the healing is being done. The healer will place another piece of Amethyst on the area of the body in need of healing, the heart or lungs usually.

Amethyst is used for problems in the blood and in breathing problems. Amethyst crystal clusters are used to keep the air and life force in the home clean and positive.

Amethyst clusters, points or several tumbled Amethysts placed in a window that receives sun most of the day are very beneficial to use in healing and to heal negativity in the home. Place Amethyst clusters, points or several tumbled Amethysts in moonlight and everyone in the home will be feeling calmer. Using an Amethyst as a meditation focus will increase the positive spiritual feelings. Amethyst helps overcome fears and cravings. It also helps relieve headaches.

salam...good afternoon...
this is about human digestive system...who have problem on digestive process you must read this...!!!
The human digestive system is a complex series of organs and glands that processes food. In order to use the food we eat, our body has to break the food down into smaller molecules that it can process; it also has to excrete waste. Most of the digestive organs (like the stomach and intestines) are tube-like and contain the food as it makes its way through the body. The digestive system is essentially a long, twisting tube that runs from the mouth to the anus, plus a few other organs (like the liver and pancreas) that produce or store digestive chemicals. The start of the process - the mouth: The digestive process begins in the mouth. Food is partly broken down by the process of chewing and by the chemical action of salivary enzymes (these enzymes are produced by the salivary glands and break down starches into smaller molecules).
On the way to the stomach: the esophagus - After being chewed and swallowed, the food enters the esophagus. The esophagus is a long tube that runs from the mouth to the stomach. It uses rhythmic, wave-like muscle movements (called peristalsis) to force food from the throat into the stomach. This muscle movement gives us the ability to eat or drink even when we're upside-down. In the stomach - The stomach is a large, sack-like organ that churns the food and bathes it in a very strong acid (gastric acid). Food in the stomach that is partly digested and mixed with stomach acids is called chyme. In the small intestine - After being in the stomach, food enters the duodenum, the first part of the small intestine. It then enters the jejunum and then the ileum (the final part of the small intestine). In the small intestine, bile (produced in the liver and stored in the gall bladder), pancreatic enzymes, and other digestive enzymes produced by the inner wall of the small intestine help in the breakdown of food. In the large intestine - After passing through the small intestine, food passes into the large intestine. In the large intestine, some of the water and electrolytes (chemicals like sodium) are removed from the food. Many microbes (bacteria like Bacteroides, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Escherichia coli, and Klebsiella) in the large intestine help in the digestion process. The first part of the large intestine is called the cecum (the appendix is connected to the cecum). Food then travels upward in the ascending colon. The food travels across the abdomen in the transverse colon, goes back down the other side of the body in the descending colon, and then through the sigmoid colon.
The end of the process - Solid waste is then stored in the rectum until it is excreted via the anus.

hello..
today i want to share something about milkshake..A milkshake is a sweet, cold beverage which is made from milk, ice cream or iced milk, and flavorings or sweeteners such as fruit syrup or chocolate sauce. Milkshakes are usually served in a tall glass with a straw, and whipped cream may be added as a topping. Several popular milkshake flavors include vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. In some Commonwealth nations and the New England region of the United States, milkshakes are made without ice cream.

Full-service restaurants, soda fountains, and diners usually prepare and mix the shake "by hand" from scoops of ice cream and milk in a blender or drink mixer using a stainless steel cup. Most fast food outlets do not make shakes by hand with ice cream, with a few exceptions such as the US chain Jack in the Box. Instead, they make shakes in automatic milkshake machines which freeze and serve a premade milkshake mixture consisting of milk, a sweetened flavoring agent, and a thickening agent.

ASSALAMUALAIKUM W.B.T
Today i like to tell about 'Nasi Lemak'.In Malay, "nasi" means rice. There is no equivalent word in English for "lemak". The closest meaning of "lemak" is fat or grease but if we are to call it fat or greasy rice, it would not give the true meaning because there is another type of traditional Malay rice dish known as "nasi minyak" which means oily or greasy or fatty rice. "Nasi minyak" is normally served during a special Malay occasion, like the Malay wedding or "kenduri."

Nasi lemak is prepared by cooking a mixture of rice and proportionate amount of coconut milk known as "santan" in Malay. The flesh of a ripe coconut is taken by grinding and later squeezed to extract the juice out. This juice is known as "santan." In the olden days, the coconut oil is extracted by boiling the "santan" but nowadays, due to the easy availability of other vegetable cooking oils in the market, the practice of making coconut oil from the coconut milk has ceased. However, to the few who still believe in the health benefits of consuming coconut oil, the production of coconut oil still continues at some rural areas on a small scale for their own consumption.

Most people believe that consuming nasi lemak is not good for their health because the coconut oil contained in the rice would increase the cholesterol level in their body. Contrary to their beliefs, however, we would like to clarify that coconut oil does not increase the cholesterol level in the body. As soon as they are absorbed into our bodies, coconut oil is straightaway burned into energy. In fact, coconut oil has other inherent properties that are beneficial to our health..Thats all.Thank you..

here,i want to share to all of you about Universiti Malaysia Pahang. It was formerly known as Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan dan Teknologi Malaysia (English: University College of Engineering & Technology Malaysia) (KUKTEM). UMP was established on 16 Februari 2002.The University College of Engineering & Technology Malaysia currently operates on a temporary campus in Gambang, Pahang. The temporary campus was formerly an industrial complex owned by MEC. The university's permanent campus is located in Pekan, which is currently still under construction.

8 October, 2006..KUKTEM was renamed to Universiti Malaysia Pahang. this because because the words university college tend to give impression to the public that KUKTEM is a "lower standard" institution of higher education compared to other universities such as Universiti Malaya. Many employers also tend to think that KUKTEM graduates are not competent enough as they graduated from a university college and not a full university. Therefore, the change of name is finally granted by the Malaysian government for the sake of the graduates and also to correct the wrong mindset of the public towards the university colleges in Malaysia.

" The Weather Man "
Haha I believe everyone know what this movie talk about. However that not the main point which the story want to tell. The story is actually about a man who work as a weather reporter who face a lot of problems which usually faced by us too in our life. He found himself so failure as he only work 2~3hours a day with a good salary payment, but he unable to spent time well with his family. As result his wife seperate with him and he is all alone. He trying to save his family back but he fail. In the end he was offered to work with a famous America tv show, Hello Americe, which had promised him a bright future and he seeking for a new life there.

It was quite boredom movie for those who seek for action...
However to me the story was so meaningful who talk about the fact of life nowadays.

5 Things to Take to the Career Fair

1. Copies of your resume (20 to 30 depending on the size of the event). Be sure it represents your knowledge, skills, and abilities effectively. Bring at least two for each company for which you have an interest in. If you have multiple interests or job objectives, make sure you bring enough of each version of your resume. You should also bring versions of your resumes that can be scanned.

2. A smile, a strong handshake, and a positive attitude. First impressions are vital. Approach an employer, smile, and offer your hand when you introduce yourself.

3. A 30-second promo line. Hand the recruiter a copy of your resume and be prepared to expand on it real quick! Share basic information about yourself and your career interests and it should go something like this: "Hello, I'm Shirley. I'm a senior here at Genius University and I'm majoring in English. I'm very interested in a marketing career. As you can see on my resume, I've just completed an internship in the Marketing Division of the DB Company in KL. I've also taken some courses in business marketing and I'm very interested to talk to you about marketing opportunities with your organization."

4. Information about the participating organizations. Gather all necessary information about the company and the job you desire. To maximize the brief time you have with each employer, you need to know how your skills and interests match their needs. And don't just concentrate on the heavyweights. There are often great opportunities with companies which you are not familiar with.

5. Energy and strategy! Career fairs require you to be on your feet moving from table to table for an hour or so. Each time you meet someone, be at your best, as refreshed as possible. You also need to devise a strategy or plan of attack for the fair. We suggest meeting with your top choices first thing in the morning, interviewing with your other choices in the middle of the day, and returning to your top choices at the end of the day to thank them again for their time.

hello...
do you know that human in group of animal...???????
so that we have 4 types of tissue inside our body.Based on morphology, animal tissues can be grouped into four basic types. Multiple tissue types comprise organs and body structures. While all animals can generally be considered to contain the four tissue types, the manifestation of these tissues can differ depending on the type of organism. For example, the origin of the cells comprising a particular tissue type may differ developmentally for different classifications of animals. The epithelium in all animals is derived from the ectoderm and endoderm with a small contribution from the mesoderm which forms the endothelium. By contrast, a true connective tissue is present only in triploblastic animals; diploblastic animals such as sponges, jellyfish and coral in effect do not have connective tissue but rather an acellular gel known as the mesoglea separates different tissues types in these animals. The mesoglea serves the function of a connective tissue but is derived from ectoderm.
1)Epithelium is single layer of cells held together via occluding junctions called tight junctions, to create a selectively permeable barrier. This tissue covers all organismal surfaces that come in contact with the external environment such as the skin, the airways, and the digestive tract. It serves functions of protection, secretion, and absorption, and is separated from other tissues below by a basal lamina. Endothelium, which comprises the vasculature, is a specialized type of epithelium.2)Connective tissue is comprised of cells separated by non-living material, which is called extracellular matrix. Connective tissue holds other tissues together such as in the formation of organs, and has the ability to stretch and contract passively. Bone, often referred to as osseous tissue, and blood are examples of specialized connective tissues. 3)Muscle cells form the active contractile tissue of the body known as muscle tissue. Muscle tissue functions to produce force and cause motion, either locomotion or movement within internal organs. Muscle tissue is separated into three distinct categories: visceral or smooth muscle, which is found in the inner linings of organs; skeletal muscle, which is found attached to bone providing for gross movement; and cardiac muscle which is found in the heart, allowing it to contract and pump blood throughout an organism.4)Neural tissue
Cells comprising the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system are classified as neural tissue. In the central nervous system, neural tissue forms the brain, cranial nerves and spinal cord and, in the peripheral nervous system, peripheral nerves inclusive of the motor neurons.

5 Things Not to Do at the Career Fair

1. Don't cruise the booths with a group of friends. Interact with the recruiters on your own. Make your own positive impression!

2. Don't carry your backpack, large purse, or other belongings with you. Carry your resume in a professional-looking folder or in a small briefcase. It will keep your resume neat and handy, and give you a place to file business cards of recruiters you meet.

3. Don't under dress. Conservative business attire is essential. Know what the expected attire of your profession is and dress accordingly because a career fair is a professional activity--perhaps your first contact with a future employer.

4. Don't wing it with employers. Do your homework! Research the companies just as you would for an interview. You'll be able to tell on why you want to work for the organization and what you can do for them.

5. Don't turn up late, especially during the last half hour of the event. Some employers may have come a long distance to attend the fair and may need to leave early. If you come late, you may miss the organizations you wanted to contact!

This is also my favourite gemstone that called AMBER.Amber is technically not a gemstone or mineral, but a fossilized sap from prehistoric trees that has aged over the course of millions of years. Amber is usually thought of as yellow golden in hue, but amber also can be found in shades of milky white, red-orange, green, black and even (very rarely) violet.

Early physicians prescribed amber for headaches, heart problems, arthritis and a variety of other ailments. In ancient times, amber was carried by travellers for protection. To early Christians, amber signified the presence of the Lord.

In the Far East, amber is the symbol of courage; Asian cultures regard amber as the 'soul of the tiger'; Egyptians placed a piece of amber in the casket of a loved one to ensure the body would forever remain whole.
Amber energy properties

* Brings a care free, sunny disposition
* Promotes good luck and success
* Dissolves oppositions
* Helps with stomach, spleen and kidney complaints
* Reduces joint problems
* Alleviates teething pain in babies

Hello guys.

I have read about formula one tournament.Championship leader Lewis Hamilton is hoping for dry weather at this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix despite thriving in the rain to win the race last year.

The McLaren driver has a seven-point lead over Ferrari's Felipe Massa at the top of the driver standings with just three races remaining. Hamilton has enjoyed success in the rain this year with notable victories at Silverstone and Monaco but forecasts suggest conditions on Sunday will be dry.

5 Things to Take Home From the Career Fair

1. Business cards from the recruiters you have met. Use the cards to write follow-up notes to those organizations which interest you the most because career fairs are all about networking. You can also network with your fellow job-seekers in terms of sharing information about job leads.

2. Notes about contacts you made. Take paper and pen with you to write down important details about particular organizations, including names of people who may not have business cards. Take a few minutes after you leave each table to jot down these notes.

3. Information about organizations you have contacted. Most recruiters will have information for you to pick up, including company brochures, CDs, position descriptions, and other data. You won't have time to deal with these at the fair!

4. A better sense of your career options. If you have used the event correctly, you will have made contact with several organizations that hire people with your skills and interests. In thinking about their needs and your background, evaluate whether each company might be a match for you.

5. Self-confidence in interacting with employer representatives. A career fair should have given you ample opportunity to practice your interview skills in a less formidable environment rather than a formal interview.

THE FIVE PEOPLE YOU MEET IN HEAVEN by MITCH ALBORN...

Every event in your life happens without accident, and every person you encounter in your life surely has a purpose in it! This is what ‘The Five People You Meet in Heaven’ tells.

Eddie, who worked in an amusement park at Ruby Pier died while trying to save the life of a child at the park. Hence, he woke up in the heaven and met five people in his life on earth who have taught him a lesson respectively.
The first person, the blue-skinned man told Eddie that he was indirectly responsible to his death, and so he taught him that every event in his life is not random, rather it happens with a reason.
The second person is his former war captain who taught him the lesson of sacrifice-as he tried to keep Eddie alive he shot his leg to prevent him from running to the fire.

Then he met Ruby, whom the pier was named after. She let him see how his father was being loyal to his best friend and that he managed to let go his anger towards his father.

The forth person Eddie met was his late wife Marguerite who told him how much she still love him even after she died. This gave him a lesson on the power of love that endures forever.

And finally Eddie met the young Filipino girl name Tala. Tala was burned death by Eddie accidently during the war but Tala appeared to tell Eddie that he was placed in the park for the rest of his life after the war for a special purpose that is to keep children safe.

If you are unhappy about your life, this is a very good book that leads you to see things that you may not see that hides behind all your anger, resentment, sorrow and self-abandon.

ASSALAMUALAIKUM W.B.T

Now,i would like to say about our brain. The brain is the most complex part of the human body. This three-pound organ is the seat of intelligence, interpreter of the senses, initiator of body movement, and controller of behavior. Lying in its bony shell and washed by protective fluid, the brain is the source of all the qualities that define our humanity. The brain is the crown jewel of the human body.

For centuries, scientists and philosophers have been fascinated by the brain, but until recently they viewed the brain as nearly incomprehensible. Now, however, the brain is beginning to relinquish its secrets. Scientists have learned more about the brain in the last 10 years than in all previous centuries because of the accelerating pace of research in neurological and behavioral science and the development of new research techniques. As a result, Congress named the 1990s the Decade of the Brain. At the forefront of research on the brain and other elements of the nervous system is the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), which conducts and supports scientific studies in the United States and around the world.

This fact sheet is a basic introduction to the human brain. It may help you understand how the healthy brain works, how to keep it healthy, and what happens when the brain is diseased or dysfunctional. That's all.Thank you.

Since I love the purple colour, I prefer to discover purple colour of gemstone.

Ruby Gemstone meaning

The ruby is considered to be the most powerful gem in the universe, and is associated with many astral signs. To own a ruby is said to have contentment and peace. Placed under a pillow the ruby may ward off bad dreams. Ruby rings should be worn on the left hand so as to receive the life force and have protection. Given as a gift, the ruby is a symbol of friendship and love. The ruby is also the symbol of vitality and royalty.

-Love stone

The Ruby is filled with love. It also helps sexual love to be more passionate. Persons lacking in self-love should have and mediate on the Ruby. It also gives the courage to be best potential that a person has.

-Healing properties of Ruby

Ruby works with the flow of blood as an aid to circulation. It aids the cleansing and removal of infection or germs in the blood. The Ruby may be worn in jewelry, but never close to the solar plexus, as the Ruby has a disquieting effect upon it. In a ring wear it on your left hand.

The color of rubies varies from vermilion to red. The most desired color is "pigeon's blood", which is pure red with a hint of blue. If the color is too pink, the stone is a pink sapphire. The same is true if it is too violet - it is a violet sapphire. The best rubies and star rubies are bright red. Most rubies come from Burma and Thailand.

every year we all celebrate hari raya many biscuit and other food.LEMANG, a dish of glutinous rice and coconut milk cooked inside a hollow bamboo tube, is a must for the Malay community when there’s a festival or celebration. Families look forward to it as do visitors when they come to visit open house functions.
Grilling lemang is hard, hot work
Grilling lemang is hard, hot work

Making lemang is a lot of hot work and requires a keen, watchful eye on the rice-stuffed bamboo cooking over a slow, slow fire. The bamboo is first lined with banana leaf to prevent the sticky rice adhering to the sides of the bamboo.

Anything can go wrong during the process. Not enough liquid, for instance, or rice that has not be pre-soaked long enough. Then the bamboo must be turned at intervals to ensure thorough cooking on all sides or you may end up with uncooked rice on one side and burnt rice on the other.

As preparing lemang requires a big open space for the fire, most people don’t bother to make their own, preferring to purchase from lemang makers who set up stalls by the road from the day before Hari Raya and do a roaring business.

You’d be able to spot these from a kilometre away by the smoke from the open fires as well as long lines of cars erratically parked at the roadside.

Lemang is usually sold by per bamboo tube though in some stalls, it is available in shorter lengths. The bamboo is split into halves to get the lemang which is then sliced into round discs for serving and is scrumptious when eaten with rendang (a dry curry) or serunding (spicy meat floss).

Lemang is not the only food cooked in bamboo. The Orang Asli, for instance, often use bamboo to cook food, as do the natives of Sabah and Sarawak.

Pansoh, for instance, is a method of cooking food in bamboo as practised by the ethnic races in Sarawak. Ingredients can range from meat like chicken to fish, rice and vegetables. The bamboo seals in the flavour of the ingredients and lends its own natural fragrance to the dish too.

One of the best known signature Iban dishes is pansoh manok (chicken pansoh) in which chicken perfumed with sliced serai (lemongrass) is cooked inside bamboo over an open fire.

Even the Chinese community has its versions of bamboo cuisine in which rice and seafood are cooked inside bamboo and in Hunan, a clear consomme double-boiled inside bamboo cups are a gourmet’s delight. Rice cooked this way is called zhutongfan.

Local Indians sometimes steam a mixture of coconut and flour inside bamboo (as a substitute for stainless steel cylinders). Known as puttu, these fragrant cakes are cylindrical, shaped after being steamed in a hollow of bamboo.

In The Philippines, cooking food inside bamboo is known as lulut (Bagobo term). Binakul is a Filipino dish where chicken is steamed inside a bamboo over flaming charcoal.

Building Self-confidence In the Workplace

We secretly admire the doctors and medical practitioners who treats us for our many illnesses. He seems so sure of himself and is such a miracle because he can cure us of our tummy aches, influenzas and the occasional runny nose. There is a reason why we are so drawn to him and are able to connect with him. He has what we call "self confidence".

Confidence is a vital aspect of our day-to-day lives and is especially important in the workplace. After all, you would not be appreciative of a colleague who fumbles and trips over his words while doing a presentation. Unfortunately, not everyone was born with "built-in" self confidence. In fact, many of us had to work hard to achieve some semblance of confidence. People with low confidence and self-esteem often feel unappreciated and find it hard to succeed. The good thing is that it can be achieved with time and effort. Rome was not built in a day, so don't expect the same for yourself and do not push yourself to the limit.

You can easily distinguish a self-confident person from others. They stand tall and proud with their head held high and answer questions clearly but calmly. You will feel instinctively drawn to them because they inspire others around them. This automatically concludes that a self-confident person is often more successful than those who are not.

How confident are you to your colleagues? Take a breather and answer some of these questions to see if you need a crash course in building your confidence.

1. Do you always behave like how others expect you to?
2. Do you manage your behaviour based on what other people think?
3. Do you prefer to stay in your comfort zone and avoid taking up risks and challenging tasks?
4. Do you often find yourself scrambling to fix mistakes so that other people won't notice?
5. Do you feel yourself blushing in shame every time someone points out your mistakes?

If you answered "yes" to two or more of the above questions, then it's time you fix this. A person with low self-confidence is often self-destructive. Confidence is a mixture of courage, strength and the ability to pick yourself up when something fails.
Take pride in what you have achieved

Keep a log book or a diary and jot down all the achievements you have made. Perhaps you have closed a successful sales deal or have been recently promoted. Take note of praises and words of encouragement from your superior. For days when you feel down and demoted, flip through the pages and re-read some of your successes. They are a constant reminder that you can do it and are able to achieve more if you set your heart to it.
Be a go-getter

Set realistic goals for yourself and stick to it. Say "I will complete this project in a fortnight" and not "I think I can complete it in a fortnight". If you make a strong reinforcement to the statement, chances are your brain will register and you will be able to meet the deadline. Also, try to set goals that will highlight your strengths and minimize your weaknesses.
Receive a compliment graciously

It is a natural instinct for Asians to be overly humble when someone compliments them. Don't be. Acknowledge that you deserve the compliment because you have worked hard for it. Smile and say "Thank you. It was really nice of you to notice my work. I'm very proud of it as well" and not "Oh, it was nothing. Anyone could have done it." The former shows that you are capable of handling tough projects while the latter says that you are a pessimist, plus it also gives the impression that your job is an easy-peasy one!
Positive self-talk

At this point, you have to start managing what goes in and out of your brain. Yes, you might have had a terrible experience at your last job and it has sucked out all of your self esteem and confidence. It is now time to let go and move on. Eliminate all negative self-talk and replace them with positive ones. One good tip that I've learnt is to stick colourful pictures on your wall, in your car, or any other places that are convenient to you. Stick a smiley face to remind you to smile. Put phrases of encouragement and frame them up.
Celebrate

Last but not least, celebrate to rejoice in the fact you have worked diligently to bring your self- confidence to another level. Allow yourself some fun. After this, stretch yourself a little bit more. Make your goals bigger and challenge yourself more. Take it one step at a time at a pace that's comfortable to you. Some people take three months; others may take up to six months or more. You will slowly notice a difference in yourself.

THE SOUND AND THE FURY by WILLIAM FAULKNER...

The Sound and the Fury is a novel about loss. Its innovative stream of consciousness technique establishes each character’s fundamental state of solitude and their individual experience of loss. The figure of Caddy, although only present in the novel through other characters’ thought processes, is the main pivot on which the characters’ emotions turn. The past is the present for the characters in The Sound and the Fury because they are unable to reconcile the events of the past with their lives in the present. Caddy is, therefore, the absent protagonist of this unusually harrowing novel. Her retarded brother, Benjy, can only wail in confusion as he is locked within a continuum of time whereby the past and the present are indistinguishable. He is therefore plunged into an incomprehensible abyss of perpetual loss that he is unable to articulate. Her brother, Quentin, laments her loss as a virgin which incorporates a dimension of incestuous desire into the novel. Due to the depths of consciousness that the novel exposes to the reader, it is very much open to interpretation. The sentences are deliberately fragmented just as our thoughts, if verbalised, would be. It is via a jigsaw-like process, then, that the reader must piece together a story in the linear sense and make up his/her mind as to what actually occurred. This makes the novel both intriguing and frustrating as the perspectives of each of the brothers, Benjy, Quentin, and the money-obsessed Jason, differ considerably thereby presenting the reader with equally different views of Caddy. What is undeniable, however, is that this novel really is an astounding literary achievement as the strands that make it into a whole are arranged in such a way that, in order to truly gain a comprehensive sense of what has taken place, the novel would have to be re-read and re-read.

Hello guys..

Today I have read an article from www.metro.co.uk. The article show that thousands of smokers' lives could be saved each year by stamping out tobacco smuggling, health experts have claimed.

Tobacco sold on the black market is responsible for about 4,000 premature deaths a year – four times more than the number caused by illegal drug use, according to a report today by Cancer Research.

It claims some smokers would quit if cigarettes cost more – but the illegal tobacco trade keeps prices down.

About 21 per cent of all tobacco smoked in Britain is brought into the country illegally.

But if there were no smuggling, the price of legal tobacco would increase by about 12 per cent, leading to five to eight per cent of smokers kicking the habit, it said.

Prof Robert West, the report's lead author, said more needed to be done to tackle the problem. 'This will require a substantial increase in resources,' he added.

Surviving Your First Day at Work

Fresh graduates or school leavers who are starting their first job would have 1001 questions in mind - What if I say the wrong things to the wrong person at the wrong time? What if my shoe straps break while I'm walking? What if nobody talks to me? - and a lot more "What if"s.
Getting the Job Offer
You've aced the interview and out of the shortlisted few, you have been hired. Upon accepting your first job offer, you are now taking your first step into the employment world. In preparation for your first day at work, you should have the following check list:

Decide On Your Attire For The First Week
You should plan which attire to wear to work for the first week. Keep your attire as conservative as possible to avoid silly mistakes. You do not want to stand out like a sore thumb among your new colleagues.

Refrain from making any fashion statements until you have observed and decided on the accepted dress code in the workplace.

A fresh grad on his first job actually wore torn jeans and a round-collared T-shirt on his first day at work as he was told that the corporate attire is "smart casual". He misconstrued the term "smart casual" and thought that smart attire meant a shirt that is not wrinkled. He received many frowns on his first day at work and had to explain himself to his superior on his attire. He learnt the hard way that dressing up is a vital part of personal appearance at work.

Call Up to Ask
If you have doubts on the dress code or if the HR department requires you to bring any additional documents or anything at all on your first day at work, just call up and ask. That way, you can calm down your nerves, knowing that you have everything in place and have not missed out anything. Do not think that your HR department will feel that you are just being troublesome by asking many questions. By asking, you are showing that you are really serious in that job and you are more likely to make a good impression that way.

MERCY AMONG THE CHILDREN by DAVID ADAMS RICHARDS..

Mercy Among the Children is a lesson in hardship, humility, spiritualism, love, hate and faith which can only be learned through staggering poverty. A family of four, living in the east coast of Canada, is challenged by discrimination, prejudice, hunger, and disease and relies on education of the soul—learned through literature even more than the church—to rise above the petty realities of a materialist, capitalist and corrupt society. The novel examines a range of cruelties: a father who was the victim of his father’s abuse and reputation. A mother raised as an orphan, while her father watched and ignored. A son stricken with guilt and responsibility for his family, assuaged only through alcohol and self-mutilation. An albino daughter, sick from birth because of poisoned water, with a passion for intelligence and a heartbreakingly pure faith in humanity. An innocent and loving boy whose death allowed for another’s life to continue. Right never quite triumphs over wrong and small gains are overshadowed by huge losses. Honour is pitted against capitalist greed; love against suspicion, contempt and hatred. It is not simply a story about good and evil, but is more an honest publication of the inhumanity rife within society. It is a novel which shows the best in humankind, and yet reveals an environment unwilling to accept it.

Mental Note for Your First Day at Work
On Your First Day

Arrive On Time, If Not a Little Earlier
The last thing you want to happen is for you to be late on your first day at work. Learn alternative routes to your workplace, just in case the one that you know could not be taken that day. This way, you can minimise the risk of running late and creating a bad impression.

Bring All the Things Required of You
On the day you report for duty, you should have with you all the things required of you, be it additional documents or forms which you brought home to fill and passport-size photographs.

Know Who To Report To
You should know who to report to on your first day at work. You should have asked this question prior to you reporting for duty to avoid awkward situations on your first day.

Smile, Not Grin To Your New Colleagues
Smile to the person seated next to you. If that person does not smile back, do not fret. Refrain from grinning or you will appear as trying too hard to please, which may subject you to possible manipulation or bullying by the office bully.

Be Mentally Prepared
You are all excited to start work and leave your books behind. It is your first job and you are about to earn your own money.

However, most first timers have no inkling of what to expect in the workplace or what are expected of them once they start work. Coming out straight from the academic world, most of the time, "freshies" find it hard to adapt to the working world.

The workplace is no longer a classroom or a lecture hall where the students only need to listen and absorb what is being said to them and complete several assignments and answer scheduled tests.

They then feel dispirited as they have to drag their feet to work each morning and hope that each working day would end quickly. Hence, it is very important for them to be mentally prepared for the working world with realistic expectations.

Change your mindset, attitude
More often than not, students took to the last minute frenzy to complete their assignments given three months before and burnt the midnight oil to complete the assignments. At work, you cannot afford to do that. In a highly-stressed job, you are expected to be on your toes and perform at all times.

ASSALAMUALAIKUM W.B.T

Today,i would like to tell about the founding of israel and palestine today. The first serious plan for the establishment of the country of Israel was in the Bale conference in Switzerland in 1897 CE. The conference succeeded and was attended by 204 of those invited, where they decreed the establishment of a nation for the Jews in Palestine.

After the Bale conference, the Jewish movement became active which led Sultan Abdul Hameed (the then Khalifah) to deliver his famous decree in 1900 to stop the Jewish pilgrims from residing in Palestine for longer than three months. Sultan Abdul Hameed knew very well the designs and plans of the Jews. Contact with the Sultan was commenced by the Jews in 1882 when the Friends of Zion society put up a request to the Ottoman council in Russia for residence in Palestine. The Sultan responded: "The Ottoman government hereby decrees to all the Jews who desire to migrate to Turkey that they will not be permitted to reside in Palestine."

The Jews were angered and began to send delegation after delegation each of which returned with a response more severe than the one preceding it. Then in 1901, Sultan Abdul Hameed passed a law forbidding the sale of any land in Palestine to the Jews.

In 1902, Herzl formed another delegation to meet with the Sultan a second time after he attempted to convince him in 1896. The Sultan refused to meet with him, so they went to the Prime Minister Tahsin Basha with their suggestions. They offered the repayment of the entire debt of the Ottoman government which were to the extent of twenty three million gold English pounds, and to build a fleet for he protection of the empire costing two hundred and thirty million gold franc, and to offer an interest free loan to the value of thirty five million gold lira to revive the treasury. All these offers were in return for permission by the Sultan to the Jews to establish a Jewish nation in Palestine; that is to sell the lives and livelihood of the Palestinian people and the holy land for these offers. Sultan Abdul Hameed rejected all these offers.

After the defeat of the Ottoman Empire in the First World War, Britain and France signed the Sykes-Picot Agreement, which divided the Arab region into zones of influence. Palestine submitted to the British occupation and at the same time the ratios of Jewish migration began to increase with support from the non-Muslim countries.Thank you.

Assalamualaikum..

Hello guys..

Today I have read an article about the electrical energy. Some energy-saving light bulbs could pose a health risk by emitting ultraviolet radiation, experts have warned.

The UV rays can 'burn', turning skin red if it is exposed to the bulbs at a distance of 30cm (1ft) or less for long periods.

The problem was seen in 'curly' unencapsulated fluorescent light bulbs – where the shape of the coil is clearly visible.

It led the Health Protection Agency to issue the warning to people who use a reading lamp or desk lamp close to their body and the tens of thousands of people suffering from medical conditions that make them sensitive to UV light.

People who work with their hands close to a light bulb, such as jewellery makers, could also be affected.

The HPA said people should not use the light bulb closer than 30cm to the body for more than one hour a day.

But it said there was no need to remove bulbs from homes and insisted that there was no risk of skin cancer.

The HPA's Justin McCracken said: 'We are not saying these could cause cancer.

'At the exposure levels we are talking about, the worst effect that we believe there is as result of our investigation is that people could have some short-time reddening of their skin.'

Previously, energy-saving bulbs have been associated with aggravating light-sensitive skin conditions including eczema, dermatitis and porphyria.

Epilepsy, lupus and migraine sufferers have also complained about them.

LUNG?????
The lung is the essential respiration organ in air-breathing animals, including most tetrapods, a few fish and a few snails. The most primitive animals with a lung are the lungfish (vertebrate) and the pulmonate snails (invertebrate). In mammals and the more complex life forms, the two lungs are located in the chest on either side of the heart. Their principal function is to transport oxygen from the atmosphere into the bloodstream, and to release carbon dioxide from the bloodstream into the atmosphere. This exchange of gases is accomplished in the mosaic of specialized cells that form millions of tiny, exceptionally thin-walled air sacs called alveoli. The lungs are very important. Energy production to aerobic respiration requires oxygen and glucose and produces carbon dioxide as a gaseous waste product, creating a need for an efficient means of oxygen delivery to cells and excretion of carbon dioxide from cells. In small organisms, such as single-celled bacteria, this process of gas exchange can take place entirely by simple diffusion. In larger organisms, this is not possible; only a small proportion of cells are close enough to the surface for oxygen from the atmosphere to enter them through diffusion. Two major adaptations made it possible for organisms to attain great multicellularity: an efficient circulatory system that conveyed gases to and from the deepest tissues in the body, and a large, internalized respiratory system that centralized the task of obtaining oxygen from the atmosphere and bringing it into the body, whence it could rapidly be distributed to all the circulatory system. The lungs also protect the heart from damage to a certain degree. In air-breathing vertebrates, respiration occurs in a series of steps. Air is brought into the animal via the airways — in reptiles, birds and mammals this often consists of the nose; the pharynx; the larynx; the trachea (also called the windpipe); the bronchi and bronchioles; and the terminal branches of the respiratory tree. The lungs of mammals are a rich lattice of alveoli, which provide an enormous surface area for gas exchange. A network of fine capillaries allows transport of blood over the surface of alveoli. Oxygen from the air inside the alveoli diffuses into the bloodstream, and carbon dioxide diffuses from the blood to the alveoli, both across thin alveolar membranes. The drawing and expulsion of air is driven by muscular action; in early tetrapods, air was driven into the lungs by the pharyngeal muscles, whereas in reptiles, birds and mammals a more complicated musculoskeletal system is used. In the mammal, a large muscle, the diaphragm (in addition to the internal intercostal muscles) drives ventilation by periodically altering the intra-thoracic volume and pressure; by increasing volume and thus decreasing pressure, air flows into the airways down a pressure gradient, and by reducing volume and increasing pressure, the reverse occurs. During normal breathing, expiration is passive and no muscles are contracted (the diaphragm relaxes).Another name for this inspiration and expulsion of air is ventilation. Vital capacity is the maximum volume of air that a person can exhale after maximum inhalation. A person's vital capacity can be measured by a spirometer (spirometry). In combination with other physiological measurements, the vital capacity can help make a diagnosis of underlying lung disease.

LUNG CANCER???

Lung cancer is a disease of uncontrolled cell growth in tissues of the lung. This growth may lead to metastasis, invasion of adjacent tissue and infiltration beyond the lungs. The vast majority of primary lung cancers are carcinomas of the lung, derived from epithelial cells. Lung cancer, the most common cause of cancer-related death in men and the second most common in women,is responsible for 1.3 million deaths worldwide annually. The most common symptoms are shortness of breath, coughing (including coughing up blood), and weight loss. The main types of lung cancer are small cell lung carcinoma and non-small cell lung carcinoma. This distinction is important because the treatment varies; non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) is sometimes treated with surgery, while small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) usually responds better to chemotherapy and radiation. The most common cause of lung cancer is long term exposure to tobacco smoke. The occurrence of lung cancer in non-smokers, who account for as many as 20% of cases, is often attributed to a combination of genetic factors, radon gas, asbestos, and air pollution, including second-hand smoke.Lung cancer may be seen on chest x-ray and computed tomography (CT scan). The diagnosis is confirmed with a biopsy. This is usually performed via bronchoscopy or CT-guided biopsy. Treatment and prognosis depend upon the histological type of cancer, the stage (degree of spread), and the patient's performance status. Possible treatments include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.

ASSALAMUALAIKUM W.B.T

I like to tell all of you about Saiyyidina Umar's Administration.Sayyidna Umar, Radi-Allahu anhu, was the second Khalifah of Islam. He was from the Khulafa-e-Rashidun (the Rightly Guided Caliphs). Sayyidna Umar, Radi-Allahu anhu, was a great administrator whose examples are unparalleled not only in Islamic history but also in the history of modern civilization.

Sayyidna Umar, Radi-Allahu anhu, was born in the year 582 C.E. In his youth, he was a famous wrestler and orator and was an expert in horse riding. He was well educated and also among the first people in Makkah who knew how to read and write. He gained a vast amount of experience by being a judge, a diplomat, and a very good public speaker. As a young man, he earned his livelihood by trade. His keen sense of justice and towering personality gave him an outstanding place in history. Devotion to duty, and fairness were his guiding principles.

As a Khalifah, his empire extended over Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Egypt and other places. However, he was not at all arrogant in his behavior towards others.

All citizens were equal before law. On a number of occasions, the Khalifah appeared personally to defend himself in the public court of justice just like any other defendant. In a dispute with an ordinary citizen, Sayyidna Ubayy-Ibn Ka'ab, Sayyidna Umar, Radi-Allahu anhu, appeared as a defendant in the court of Sayyidna Zaid-Ibn-Thabit at Madinah. Sayyidna Zaid, Radi-Allahu anhu, wanted to pay respect to him but Sayyidna Umar, Rad-Allahu anhu, told him that this amounted to partiality. Thus under Sayyidna Umar, Radi-Allahu anhu, the principles of justice and equality were fully observed. In the same case, Sayyidna Ubayy, Radi-Allahu anhu, wanted Sayyidna Umar, Radi-Allahu anhu, to take oath, but the judge wanted to spare him because of the dignity of his office. Seeing this, the Khalifah admonished him, “You cannot be a just judge until a common man is equal to the Khalifah before you.” During that era, no one was above law. Even the Khalifah was questioned by the common man.

Among many other great progress and advancements, Sayyidna Umar, Radi-Allahu anhu,

1.Organized and systemized the Public Treasury

2.Established military offices

3.Kept a record of the population

4.Built many canals in different provinces

5.Developed many cities including Basra, Kufa, Cairo, etc

6.Provided housing for thousands of people

7.Set up official governments in all conquered territory

8.Established a police force

9.Carried out nightly patrols himself to check on the safety and needs of the public

10.Built rest houses and wells alongside various routes for the convenience of travelers

11.Provided assistance to needy Muslims and non-Muslims, etc.

THE PEARL by JOHN STEINBECK

John Steinbeck’s The Pearl takes place in and around the city of La Paz, where Mexican-Indian pearl diver named Kino lives happily with his wife Juana and infant son Coyotito. After a poisonous scorpion stings Coyotito, Juana calls for a doctor, a white man, something unheard of among her fellow villagers. The doctor says he doesn’t make house calls, obviously he was ahead of his time, so the family sets out for the wealthy part of town.

When the doctor finds out that Kino can’t afford his price, he refuses to treat the baby and insults them. Kino expresses shame and outrage at his poverty and standing and beats on the gates to the doc’s house until his hands are bloody and his heart is raging with disgust at the injustice of society. Left with no choice, Kino jumps into work, and the water, hoping to find great mythical pearl that is the dream of every pearl diver. He comes up with an oyster that contains a pearl the size of a seagull egg. Even better, Coyotito’s swelling begins to go down.

The pearl has a negative effect on the villagers, who all see in it something to further their own selfish interests, including the doctor who sees the giant pearl as his ticket to a life of luxury in Paris. Kino’s plans for the money are to arrange a proper marriage to Juana, new clothes for the family, a rifle and to eventually send Coyotito to school.

The doctor finally deems Kino worthy enough for a house call, tells him that Coyotito may look better, but he’s not out of the woods just yet and gives the baby a white powder, knowing it too is poisonous. Kino, getting desperately suspicious, buries the pearl. Coyotito gets violently sick and the doctor returns to cure him. The doc suggests that Kino can give him the pearl for safekeeping while he gathers up payment, Kino declines but looks nervously toward where he buried it. Once the doctor leaves, Kino reburies the pearl.
That night, Kino finds a strange man in his hut and chases him off after receiving a blow to the head. Kino attempts to sell the pearl, but the buyers are in league against him and refuse to give him what it’s worth. As his wife tries to convince him that the pearl is bad luck, he is beaten badly by a group of strangers. Juana wants to throw the thing back into the water, but Kino insists and going to the capital and selling it. Before he can, however, Juana digs it up and tries to throw it into the water. This time she is the one beaten, but not by strangers. Kino has become a wife-beater. Juana becomes one of those women who calmly accept being beaten by her husband, chalking his behavior up the differences between the sexes.
Kino again is beaten by the strangers but manages to stab one of them before losing consciousness. When he wakes up he realizes he’s killed a man and is forced to flee. He gets Juana and Coyotito and prepares to leave by his canoe only to find that someone has created a hole in the bottom of it. Angered at this betrayal of his link to his ancestors, Kino returns home only to find his house has been set on fire. The family takes refuge in his older brothers’ house where his brother pleads with him to give up the pearl. Kino refuses and under cover of darkness takes his family northward.

The next day Kino sees images of the man he killed, Juana’s abused face and Coyotito still suffering from the scorpion bite when he looks at the pearl’s surface. Later he see three men heading toward them, one carrying a rifle. The men pass by without spotting Kino, but knowing it’s just a matter of time before they are found, he suggests to Juana that they give up. They flee to the west, the stone mountains.

When they reach the mountains, and realize the trackers are still on their trail, they hide inside a cave. Kino sneaks out to attack the trackers, but right when he’s about to strike Coyotito begins to cry. The man with the rifle thinks he is firing at a coyote pup. Kino is able to get the gun away from the men and kill them but then hears Juana crry out from inside the cave. The bullet fired into the cave struck Coyotito and killed him.

Kino and Juana return to La Paz and walk through the city, followed by a crowd, until they reach the shore. Kino throws the pearl into the water and watches as it sinks to the bottom.

Hari Raya Aidilfitri/Hari Raya Puasa, literally "Celebration Day of Fasting" is the Malay term for the Muslim festival of Eid ul-Fitr. Hari Raya is also known as Lebaran. Muslims in Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore celebrate Eid like other Muslims throughout the world. The term "Hari Raya" literally means "Day of Celebration". The main greeting used by Muslims in Malaysia and Singapore is "Selamat Hari Raya" which means "Happy Eid" in Malay. Another greeting is "maaf zahir dan batin" which translates loosely to "I seek forgiveness (from you) physically and spiritually", for Hari Raya is a time to reconcile and renew relationships with others.

LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE by GABRIEL GARCIA MARQUEZ and LAURA ESQUIVEL

Love is a vital factor in our life’s choices; and in turn, it is these choices that give the love we feel its definitive edge, its intensity, its authenticity. Love changes our perspective of things; it can make the direst situation agreeable- and the lack of it can make the most perfect life, a living hell. In Like Water for Chocolate by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Laura Esquivel, two women are forced into circumstances that they did not choose for themselves.

Being the youngest daughter in the family, Tita was handed down the fate of being her mother’s caretaker - a fortune that inevitably would lead to the life of a spinster, with no hopes for love and marriage. Tita’s life was the kitchen; in the kitchen she amused herself, nursed her pains and calmed her fears- but the day that Pedro declared his love for her, not even Nacha’s Christmas Rolls made her pain disappear. When Pedro professed his love, Tita knew that “From that night on she would love him forever. And now she had to give him up; it wasn’t decent to desire your sister’s future husband. ” At this point, Tita felt to pursue her love for Pedro would mean not only going against the tradition that assigned her place as her mother’s caretaker- it would also be against common decency because the man she loved was her sister’s betrothed. On the other hand, Angela Vicario was pressured into marriage with a man whom she found arrogant and whose methods of courtship she frowned upon with disdain. Yet Angela, whom the narrator described as having a "helpless air and a poverty of spirit that augured an uncertain future for her ," did not go against her family’s wishes.

Although in very different situations, Tita and Angela were both bound into circumstances that were a product of family tradition and society; they both silently rebelled against their fate. They knew that in as much as they felt their passion, or the lack of it- to be real and absolute- there are things bigger than themselves and there are things that took precedence over their feelings. Both Tita and Angela had their families to consider, and the opinions of their relatives, friends and neighbors- not to mention years of iron-bound traditions that few have ever broken. As Mama Elena told Tita; “For generations not a single person in my family has ever questioned this tradition, and no daughter of mine is going to be the one to start.” In the same way that Tita was obligated to stay with her Mother in her old age, Angela was obligated to marry San Roman because “a family dignified by modest means had no right to disdain that prize of destiny .”

Being women, with the duty to uphold family honor at all cost, Tita and Angela were doomed to lives without love; Tita in spinsterhood, Angela in marriage. Such notions are basically born out of gender relations in particular societies, and a sense of propriety that abides by these gender relations. Such notions are quickly re-assessed, restructured and sometimes completely set aside when a person finds something more powerful than the desire to obey convention or to adhere to tradition. This was evident in the turn of events of both novels.

However, the heart and soul could only take so much repression. It was impossible for Tita to keep her love away, and as for Angela, she did not think that she could take her mothers’ advice that “Love can be learned too .” It may also be this feeling of defiance that moved her to defy her mother’s and cousins’ advice to hide the supposed shame of her lost virginity- on her wedding night, she made no effort to pretend, even thought she knew very well it would bring her family dishonor.

Finally free of the society that suffocated and eventually disowned her; she was able to see past her own disillusionment and realized that Bayardo San Roman was a man that she could love, even though when he came to her many years later, he was very far from the man she was forced to marry. She chased the very same man she had tried to escape- this was hardly an easy thing to do, given that she ruined him- but Angela paid no heed to that, and in the end they found each other again.

Love tends to make people do strange things when under the influence of its powers; it is a potent force that neither laws nor conventions can suppress. Love allows one to fight difficult battles, cross set boundaries and effect a transformation that one has not thought possible. Angela’s whirlwind union, and Tita’s long awaited for marriage both had terrible histories and implications- but in the end, after the veneers of reality had all been stripped away- they realized that if there was Love, then tradition and society can be defied in order to find happiness.

The family should be the basic building block of any country.

Better than anywhere else on earth, at home children learn about love, trust, loyalty, cooperation, and service.

The home is the primary setting in which children can develop the virtue of being good citizens.

From living and working with their own family children learn how to grow, prosper and behave in a community.

Children develop the very attributes of good citizenship by first practicing them in the home.

The health of any society lies in the strength of its families. When we work to strengthen our families, we strengthen our communities and our nations.

Most of us can't march off to Washington to lay the Legislature low. We must focus our attention on the community around us.

In trying to serve our community, we must first consider what our community needs. Once we have decided which problems are the most urgent, we can then select one need and make a plan to help solve it. We can augment many community health and safety projects. We can serve on committees, or do volunteer work to improve our communities.

When we do look around for volunteer work to do in the community let us seek for avenues to build family strength. Let us look for worthwhile projects that will bring families in together. Through our community efforts let us become known as builders, builders of the home, builders of the heart, builders of hope, builders for every noble cause.

Bitter experience has shown that the best way to keep corrupt individuals out of our legal system is for concerned citizens to keep a stern eye over governmental activities. Politicians motivated only by selfish ambition can usually be rooted out only at the ballot box.

American citizens openly express how hopeless it is to maintain (or restore) honesty, accountability, and effectiveness to our political system. Participation in elections is now so pitiful that if just 25% of the registered voters turn out to vote it is called huge. Because of this attitude every vote we cast is worth three more who don't care enough to vote. With that kind of power, we can make a difference.

Unfortunately, with the constant pressures of earning a living, caring for a family, and almost daily Church responsibilities, how can we find the time to be informed about matters of public interest and find those good people to support as candidates for office?

The best way is simply to get involved. Offer to work in political activity such as delivering a petition or running a friend's political campaign. Help the righteous seeking an office in the system. When you see the candidate's whole family out there pounding in political signs, stop and get acquainted. GET INVOLVED and God will take care of the rest.

We have the obligation to seek out and vote for the best candidates for public office. When we leave the burden of active voting to others, we lose the opportunity to affect those decisions that will shape our world. By refusing to vote, we abdicate the free agency God gave to us.

Now if we think it is hard to pick the right people to vote for, just imagine how hard it is for those we elect to do their duty. Politicians and statesmen must grapple with tough questions, painstakingly familiarize themselves with vital issues, grapple with public ignorance, and be decisive on top of all that. They need our support most AFTER we have voted them in, or even if we did not vote them in.

Doing our duty to our country also includes obeying its laws. As unjust laws can be changed we have no excuse for not obeying the laws until they are changed. Peace can exist only when the public obeys the law.

That means we should come to a complete stop at stop signs, it means observing the speed limit no matter how fast the music is playing. It means serving on juries when our number comes up. It means serving honorably in the Armed forces in times of need. It means honoring our troops that do serve.

We have the duty of raising good families, of working for our communities, of voting for good and just candidates, of serving our country in times of need. Let us rise to the occasion.

Let us do our duty,
to God,
to Family,
to Community,
and to our country.

good morning every body....
have a nice day!!!!

i want to share about breast cancer....

Breast cancer is a cancer that starts in the cells of the breast in women and men.Worldwide, breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer after lung cancer (10.4% of all cancer incidence, both sexes counted) and the fifth most common cause of cancer death. In 2005, breast cancer caused 502,000 deaths worldwide (7% of cancer deaths; almost 1% of all deaths).Because the breast is composed of identical tissues in males and females, breast cancer also occurs in males.Incidences of breast cancer in men are approximately 100 times less common than in women, but men with breast cancer are considered to have the same statistical survival rates as women.

The first symptom, or subjective sign, of breast cancer is typically a lump that feels different than the surrounding breast tissue. According to the Merck Manual, more than 80% of breast cancer cases are discovered when the woman feels a lump. According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), the first medical sign, or objective indication of breast cancer as detected by a physician, is discovered by mammogram.Lumps found in lymph nodes located in the armpits and/or collarbone[citation needed] can also indicate breast cancer.

Indications of breast cancer other than a lump may include changes in breast size or shape, skin dimpling, nipple inversion, or spontaneous single-nipple discharge. Pain is an unreliable tool in determining the presence of breast cancer, but may be indicative of other breast-related health issues such as mastodynia.

When breast cancer cells invade the dermal lymphatics, small lymph vessels in the skin of the breast, its presentation can resemble skin inflammation and thus is known as inflammatory breast cancer (IBC). Symptoms of inflammatory breast cancer include pain, swelling, warmth and redness throughout the breast, as well as an orange peel texture to the skin referred to as peau d'orange.

Another reported symptom complex of breast cancer is Paget's disease of the breast. This syndrome presents as eczematoid skin changes such as redness and mild flaking of the nipple skin. As Paget's advances, symptoms may include tingling, itching, increased sensitivity, burning, and pain. There may also be discharge from the nipple. Approximately half of women diagnosed with Paget's also have a lump in the breast.

Occasionally, breast cancer presents as metastatic disease, that is, cancer that has spread beyond the original organ. Metastatic breast cancer will cause symptoms that depend on the location of metastasis. More common sites of metastasis include bone, liver, lung and brain. Unexplained weight loss can occasionally herald an occult breast cancer, as can symptoms of fevers or chills. Bone or joint pains can sometimes be manifestations of metastatic breast cancer, as can jaundice or neurological symptoms. These symptoms are "non-specific," meaning they can also be manifestations of many other illnesses.

Most symptoms of breast disorder do not turn out to represent underlying breast cancer. Benign breast diseases such as mastitis and fibroadenoma of the breast are more common causes of breast disorder symptoms. The appearance of a new symptom should be taken seriously by both patients and their doctors, because of the possibility of an underlying breast cancer at almost any age.

at this is the ways to prevent from get breast cancer...

Lower age of first childbirth (less than 24 years maternal age), having more children (about 7% lowered risk per child), and breastfeeding (4% per breastfeeding year, with an average relative risk around 0.7have all been correlated to lowered breast cancer risk in large studies.

Phytoestrogens and soy
Phytoestrogens such as found in soybeans have been extensively studied in animal and human in-vitro and epidemiological studies.
Plant estrogen intake, such as from soy products, in early adolescence may protect against breast cancer later in life.
Plant estrogen intake later in life is not likely to influence breast cancer incidence either positively or negatively.

Folic acid (folate)
Studies have found that "folate intake counteracts breast cancer risk associated with alcohol consumption"[44] and "women who drink alcohol and have a high folate intake are not at increased risk of cancer.A prospective study of over 17,000 women found that those who consume 40 grams of alcohol(about 3-4 drinks) per day have a higher risk of breast cancer. However, in women who take 200 micrograms of folate (folic acid or Vitamin B9) every day, the risk of breast cancer drops below that of alcohol abstainers.
Folate is involved in the synthesis, repair, and functioning of DNA, the body’s genetic map, and a deficiency of folate may result in damage to DNA that may lead to cancer. In addition to breast cancer, studies have also associated diets low in folate with increased risk of pancreatic, and colon cancer.

Foods rich in folate include citrus fruits, citrus juices, dark green leafy vegetables (such as spinach), dried beans, and peas.

Avoiding exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke
Breathing secondhand smoke increases breast cancer risk by 70%in younger, primarily pre-menopausal women. The California Environmental Protection Agency has concluded that passive smoking causes breast cancer and the US Surgeon General has concluded that the evidence is "suggestive," one step below causal. There is some evidence that exposure to tobacco smoke is most problematic between puberty and first childbirth. The reason that breast tissue appears most sensitive to chemical carcinogens in this phase is that breast cells are not fully differentiated until lactation.

Oophorectomy and mastect omy
Prophylactic oophorectomy (removal of ovaries), in high-risk individuals, when child-bearing is complete, reduces the risk of developing breast cancer by 60%, as well as reducing the risk of developing ovarian cancer by 96%.

Medications
Hormonal therapy has been used for chemoprevention in individuals at high risk for breast cancer. In 2002, a clinical practice guideline by the US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommended that "clinicians discuss chemoprevention with women at high risk for breast cancer and at low risk for adverse effects of chemoprevention" with a grade B recommendation.

Selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs)
The guidelines[clarify] were based on studies of SERMs from the MORE, BCPT P-1, and Italian trials. In the MORE trial, the relative risk reduction for raloxifene was 76%.The P-1 preventative study demonstrated that tamoxifen can prevent breast cancer in high-risk individuals. The relative risk reduction was up to 50% of new breast cancers, though the cancers prevented were more likely estrogen-receptor positive (this is analogous to the effect of finasteride on the prevention of prostate cancer, in which only low-grade prostate cancers were prevented). The Italian trial showed benefit from tamoxifen.

Additional randomized controlled trials have been published since the guidelines. The IBIS trial found benefit from tamoxifen. In 2006, the NSABP STAR trial demonstrated that raloxifene had equal efficacy in preventing breast cancer compared with tamoxifen, but that there were fewer side effects with raloxifene. The RUTH Trial concluded that "benefits of raloxifene in reducing the risks of invasive breast cancer and vertebral fracture should be weighed against the increased risks of venous thromboembolism and fatal stroke".On September 14, 2007, the US Food and Drug Administration approved raloxifene (Evista) to prevent invasive breast cancer in postmenopausal women.

The world knows Arnold Schwarzenegger as a famous bodybuilder and a Hollywood action hero, but he is also a successful businessman, generous philanthropist and California's 38th Governor.

Since he took office, Governor Schwarzenegger's responsible fiscal policies have brought California back from the brink of bankruptcy, reinvigorating the economy, creating a better environment for business and creating more than 680,000 new jobs. Improved state revenues have paid down the state's debt and afforded record investments in schools, roads and affordable healthcare for children.
Governor Schwarzenegger's most notable accomplishments include a bipartisan agreement to reduce California's greenhouse gas emissions by signing landmark legislation in 2006, increasing the minimum wage while lowering the state's unemployment rate and overhauling the workers' compensation system - cutting costs by more than 35 percent. In addition, Governor Schwarzenegger is the first governor in decades to make major investments in improving California's aging infrastructure through his Strategic Growth Plan, helping to reduce congestion and clean the air. He established the Hydrogen Highway and Million Solar Roofs Plan, continuing his leadership in creating a greener environment.
As Governor, he has been California's most effective marketing tool, traveling across the country and around the world promoting California grown products, cutting edge technologies and the state's diverse travel destinations. In addition, using his background as an internationally recognized athlete, Governor Schwarzenegger has made restoring health and fitness a top priority. He signed legislation making the state's school nutrition standards the most progressive in the nation and continues to promote healthy habits.
This world-famous athlete and actor was born in Austria in 1947, and at 20 became the youngest person ever to win the Mr. Universe title. He came to America shortly after, winning an unprecedented 12 more world bodybuilding titles. Challenging both his body and mind, he earned a college degree from the University of Wisconsin and became a U.S. citizen in 1983. Three years later he married broadcast journalist Maria Shriver.
Governor Schwarzenegger's most gratifying accomplishments are rooted in public service - committing his time, energy and personal finances to charitable organizations around the world. He and Maria have remained closely involved in Special Olympics, an organization founded by Maria's mother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver. He was named Special Olympics International Weight Training Coach in 1979 and serves as a Global Ambassador.
Recognizing his passion for helping kids, former President George Bush appointed Governor Schwarzenegger Chair of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports in 1990, where he traveled all 50 states and recognized the overwhelming need for more after-school alternatives. He also served as Chair of the California Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports under Governor Pete Wilson.
Governor Schwarzenegger has committed himself to promoting physical education and after-school programs. In 2002, his support for Proposition 49, the After-School Education & Safety Act, led it to overwhelming victory. As Governor, he has aggressively worked to increase after-school funding, making California the first state in the nation to significantly invest in a comprehensive after-school program.
His many accomplishments have earned him the praise of numerous organizations, including the Simon Wiesenthal Center's "National Leadership Award" for his support of the organization's Holocaust studies. Schwarzenegger was the only actor to be in both categories of the American Film Institutes Hundred Years of Heroes and Villains. In 2002, Schwarzenegger was given the esteemed honor of the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award, presented to him by Ali, a longtime friend and sports mentor.
Governor Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver have four children - Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher.

Costly drugs prevent proper cancer treatment

Malaysia may be on par with developed nations when it comes to treatment of cancer but unfortunately, not every patient has access to new drugs. Clinical oncologist Dr Jayendran Dharmaratnam said this was because the government could not continue to subsidise costly drugs.Dr Jayendran, who heads the clinical oncology department at Hospital Likas in Kota Kinabalu, said some of the drugs were so expensive that many patients were forced to pay for them on their own or through their personal insurance coverage. He also said that local oncologists were on par with top oncologists worldwide. However, many do not engage in sub-specialisation or clinical research as often as others do since there is an insufficient number to cater to the demand.
"There is a gross shortage of oncologists, especially in the public sector. Thus, most of us are service-oriented and get a good deal of our information by attending oncology meetings locally and internationally."He said local oncologists were able to treat common cancers, such as breast, colorectal, cervix and lung cancers just as ably as other oncologists elsewhere."Probably in areas such as prostate and skin cancer, we may have less experience as we do not come across these types of cancer as often as in other parts of the world." Dr Jeyandran is the chairman of the Malaysian Oncological Society's scientific meeting in Sabah, which will be held at The Pacific Sutera, Kota Kinabalu, from Oct 16 to 19. The meeting is themed "Comprehensive Community Cancer Care: Evolution or Revolution".He said this was the 12th such meeting since the formation of the society and it was aimed at bringing awareness of the latest trends in the management of cancer to care providers.

this another crime happend in Malaysia....

The four security guards were supposed to be protecting the houses in Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2. Instead, they were sneaking into one of them and raping a 14-year-old mentally-impaired girl. They were believed to have been doing this for the past month, but this came to a stop this week when police arrested two of the guards and a maid working for the family of the victim. The other two guards have gone into hiding. The guards' crime came to light only when police questioned the victim about a robbery that had taken place at the family's home on Monday.Three men armed with parang had robbed the family of RM10,000 and a laptop. In the course of the investigation, police had interviewed the girl and she had blurted out that some men had been "playing" with her at night.
Sources said the girl told police the maid had let the men into the house at night. The maid later confessed that she had become acquainted with the men, whom she identified as the guards of the housing estate, while they were on their patrols. It was through the maid that the guards found out about the girl's condition. She helped them by allowing them into the house while the family was asleep. The guards and the maid warned the girl not to tell anyone about what had been going on.Sources said police at first thought the guards were the ones who had robbed the family, but the maid denied this.

hello there..i'm here to share with u about Alfred Noble (1833 - 1896). i know about him since i was in form 3. he was a noble man that very important in our life nowadays. he created dynamite.i get the details about him from http://www.newsfinder.org/site/more/alfred_noble_1833_1896/
Alfred Nobel was born in Stockholm on October 21, 1833. His father Immanuel Nobel was an engineer and inventor who built bridges and buildings in Stockholm. In connection with his construction work Immanuel Nobel also experimented with different techniques for blasting rocks. Alfred’s mother, born Andriette Ahlsell, came from a wealthy family. Due to misfortunes in his construction work caused by the loss of some barges of building material, Immanuel Nobel was forced into bankruptcy the same year Alfred Nobel was born. In 1837 Immanuel Nobel left Stockholm and his family to start a new career in Finland and in Russia. To support the family, Andriette Nobel started a grocery store which provided a modest income. Meanwhile Immanuel Nobel was successful in his new enterprise in St. Petersburg, Russia. He started a mechanical workshop which provided equipment for the Russian army and he also convinced the Tsar and his generals that naval mines could be used to block enemy naval ships from threatening the city.

hye guys, today i have read about The global economic turmoil is likely to take its toll on AIDS research funding and add to the problems plaguing the search for a vaccine against the virus, scientists warned Tuesday.

Anthony Fauci, director of the U.S. National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said it was impossible to predict whether scientists would ever be able to develop an effective vaccine, as they have for other killers such as smallpox and measles.

"Will there be a guarantee that we will get a vaccine in the classical sense? Realistically you can't say that," Fauci said. "But that doesn't mean we are going to give up trying."

Nine hundred experts are attending the international AIDS vaccine conference in Cape Town, at the epicenter of an epidemic that has infected an estimated 33 million people, of whom 5.5 million are in South Africa.

The economic downturn has added to the gloom among experts deeply frustrated by research setbacks. A recent trial showed that one potential vaccine not only failed to prevent infection but appeared to increase the risk of contracting the virus.

Now there is added concern that philanthropic organizations, like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, who have become major players in health and development projects may cut back on funding.

"It's not good news for research in general and vaccine research in particular," Alan Bernstein, head of the Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise, told the Associated Press.

"It has been a very turbulent year."

Fauci said the National Institutes for Health total AIDS budget this year was US$1.5 billion of which US$491 million was dedicated to vaccine research. This was up from US$703 million in 1998, with US$115 million for the vaccine, and US$223 million in 1988, with 22 million allocated to developing a vaccine in an era when scientists were still optimistic about success.

Fauci said while he did not expect the U.S. government to cut its spending on AIDS, "the increases in the budget that we had hoped for will not be forthcoming."

cAnd he said he feared the financial downturn would impact on the "enthusiasm and ability of philanthropic research and development.

And he said it would be wrong to divert funding from vaccine research — as some prominent scientists have argued — into male circumcision which can reduce HIV transmission by up to 60 percent.

Dramatic results from trials into male circumcision prompted the United Nations last year to recommend that government embrace it as part of their AIDS prevention armory. But African countries that are keen to embark on mass male circumcision complain they lack the resources and the medical expertise needed. Funding programs from international donors are still in their infancy.

How to Become an Excellent Student..
Do you have a desire to become a successful student? Well, here's some tips how you can accomplish it.

1-Like all exceptionally great students, you must pay attention! When a teacher is giving a lesson, take notes and if you don't get something, raise your hand and ask. The more questions you ask, the smarter you'll get, believe it or not. By passing notes and talking to friends, you won't learn anything, so pay close attention!

2-Review your notes when you have free time.

3-Take some time to write some problems up, or you could ask someone to write them for you. Just remember, it doesn't hurt to go over what you have learned.

4-Do your homework. Teachers give you homework for a reason. It is to review what you have learned that day. Take advantage of your free time. If you really want to be a successful student, you should know right from the beginning when you want to be great at anything, you have to put up with things that just don't seem fair. Doing your homework is not a big deal. Remember, homework can also help you develop good habits and attitudes.

5-Be prepared. Bring everything you need with you to class. Books, folders, pens, pencils, homework, review sheets etc. whatever you need it would be a good idea to bring it.

6-Get organized. Keep a folder for each subject, and yes, you put your math papers in your math folder, you put your Language Arts papers in your Language Arts folder, you put your science papers in your science folder, and so on. It would really be a good idea to color code or label your folders.

7-Study. It would be a good idea to start studying a few days before a test. Make a study schedule. If an extracurricular activity gets in the way of your studying, tell the person in charge of that certain event, that you will not be able to attend that event, or you will have to leave early. However, there will be certain situations where you will have to attend whatever it is. In this kind of situation, you will just have to study another day. This is where your study schedule comes in. Write out a schedule of the week of your test and find your free time. Always remember, use your time wisely.

8-Use of mindmaps can be helpful for understanding hard topics.

before this,I give you some steps, now I give you some tips..

*Always go for extra credit even if you are getting a 98% in that certain class. You can always do better.
*Stay focused. Everyone knows school can be boring, but you have got to concentrate on getting focused. Keep your eyes on the teacher, keep your ears open, and take notes. Taking notes will help you think and help you understand what is being taught more.
*Sleep! Sleeping well is essential to keep you concentrated on classes and also on your studies.
*Rewriting notes taken in class is helpful if taking exceptionally hard classes. (Ex. law, economics, engineering etc.)
*Lessons are fun if you pay attention and listen to what the teacher is saying, and if you know about that topic you will feel good, and if you don't know about it, maybe you should study it a little.
*Find out your learning style (ex.visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.) and look online to find out about study habits that match your learning style. You'll be surprised at how much easier it is! But be sure to answer the quiz questions truthfully.
*Also, find out if you are a left brain or a right brain. Left brain is organized, logical, rational. Right brain is intuitive, lets feelings go, sees things in an abstract way. If you take a quiz and discover you are both, no worries! Lots of people are.
*Study before sleeping (but don't stay up too late!). By doing this, you'll remember what you've studied the next morning. But if you study then watch TV or something like that, you'll forget more (because memories are consolidated during sleep).
*Also remember that psychological studies have shown that people tend to forget much of the information learned in the last ten minutes before falling asleep. So you should do something else before you go right to bed after studying.

Happy birthday

"Happy Birthday to You", also known more simply as "Happy Birthday", is a traditional song that is sung to celebrate the anniversary of a person's birth. According to the 1998 Guinness Book of World Records, "Happy Birthday to You" is the most well recognized song in the English language, followed by "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" and "Auld Lang Syne"[1]. The song's base lyrics have been translated into at least 18 languages[2].

The melody of "Happy Birthday to You" comes from the song "Good Morning to All", which was written and composed by American sisters Patty Hill and Mildred J. Hill in 1893. They were both kindergarten school teachers in Louisville, Kentucky, developing various teaching methods at what is now the Little Loomhouse.[3][4] The sisters created "Good Morning to All" as a song that would be easy to sing by young children[5]. The combination of melody and lyrics in "Happy Birthday to You" first appeared in print in 1912, and probably existed even earlier.[6] None of these early appearances included credits or copyright notices. The Summy Company registered for copyright in 1935, crediting authors Preston Ware Orem and Mrs. R.R. Forman. In 1990, Warner Chappell purchased the company owning the copyright for US$15 million, with the value of "Happy Birthday" estimated at US$5 million.[7] Based on the 1935 copyright registration, Warner claims that U.S. copyright won't expire until 2030, and that unauthorized public performances of the song are technically illegal unless royalties are paid to it.

In European Union (EU) countries the copyright in the song will expire December 31, 2016.

The actual U.S. copyright status of "Happy Birthday to You" began to draw more attention with the passage of the Copyright Term Extension Act in 1998. When the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the Act in Eldred v. Ashcroft in 2003, Judge Breyer specifically mentioned "Happy Birthday to You" in his dissenting opinion.[8] Professor Robert Brauneis went so far as to conclude "It is doubtful that 'Happy Birthday to You', the famous offspring of 'Good Morning to All', is really still under copyright", in his heavily researched 2008 paper.

hi..

i want to share to you all about love. Nowadays,we can see that there are many couple that we can see surround us.Thus, what is love?

Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection.[1] The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure ("I loved that meal") to intense interpersonal attraction ("I love my girlfriend"). This diversity of meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states.

As an abstract concept, love usually refers to a deep, ineffable feeling of tenderly caring for another person. Even this limited conception of love, however, encompasses a wealth of different feelings, from the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love to the nonsexual emotional closeness of familial and Platonic love[2] to the profound oneness or devotion of religious love.[3] Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.

In a sense, love does encompass the Islamic view of life as universal brotherhood which applies to all who hold the faith. There are no direct references stating that God is love, but amongst the 99 names of God (Allah), there is the name Al-Wadud or 'the Loving One', which is found in Surah 11:90 as well as Surah 85:14. It refers to God as being "full of loving kindness". All who hold the faith have God's love, but to what degree or effort he has pleased God depends on the individual itself.

Before you want to love someone. You have to love your god first.

Facts About Marijuana

Cannabis was first cultivated in China around 4000 B.C. and the U.S. Declaration of Independence was written on hemp paper. Twelve Americans receive prescribed marijuana from the U.S. government. There are three main types of Marijuana: Cannabis Sativa, Cannabis Indica and Cannabis Ruderalis. Cannabis Sativa grows taller and it gives more of a head high. Indica is a short bushy plant and the high is more muscle relaxing throughout the body. Cannabis Ruderalis grows in colder climates (Eastern Europe and Russia). Skunk is strong Cannabis Indica hybrid. Interesting fact about marijuana is that marijuana cures more than 50 diseases including Cancer and AIDS.

A culture of arranged marriage..

In cultures where dating is not prevalent, arranged marriages perform a similar function--bringing together people who might otherwise not have met. In such cultures, arranged marriage is viewed as the norm and preferred by young adults.Even where courtship practices are becoming fashionable, young adults tend to view arranged marriage as an option they can fall back on if they are unable or unwilling to spend the time and effort necessary to find spouses on their own.In such cases, the parents become welcome partners in a hunt for marital bliss. Further, in several cultures, the last duty of a parent to his or her son or daughter is to see that he or she passes through the marital rites.

In some cultures, arranged marriage is a tradition handed down through many generations. Parents who take their son or daughter's marriage into their own hands have themselves been married by the same process. Many parents, and children likewise, feel pressure from the community to conform, and in certain cultures a love marriage or even courtship is considered a failure on the part of the parents to maintain control over their child. In such cultures, children are brought up with these cultural assumptions and so do not feel stifled. They experience them as natural boundaries. The stratification of society using caste system and its involvement in marriage is often experienced by most of the Indian parents.

Parents in some communities fear social and/or religious stigma if their child is not married by a certain age. Several cultures deem the son or daughter less likely to find a suitable partner if he or she is past a certain age, and consider it folly to try to marry them off at that stage.

In these societies, including China, the intragenerational relationship of the family is much more valued than the marital relationship. The whole purpose of the marriage is to have a family.

Title:Love amrriage versus Arranged Marriage
Good day to all,
Now is the season of tests, presentation and the semester examinations are just around the corner. So all the best dear friends. This time I'm up with an interesting topic regarding marriage. Love marriage seems to be like the positive half cycle of a sinusoidal wave, with the peak of the sine wave representing marriage. The relationship peaks at the point of marriage. Once they start living together, things aint as rosy as before and it goes downhill unless both parties take an effort. On the other hand, arranged marriage is where two new individuals unite who come from different family background.Settlement, adjustment, understanding are the secret recipe of an arranged marriage.Parents play an important role analysing, researching and choosing the right match in arranged marriage which gives a better marriage where not solemnly depending on love at first sight.Anyhow both marriages will only be successful when theres continuous love and complete faithfulness between both parties.I hope my blog would have hit your mind dear friends on considering the pros and cons before deciding on marriage.Thats all for now,so thank you!

Electrical Engineer??What is this job like?

A global positioning system that can pinpoint a car's location. Giant generators that can power entire cities. A new design for an airplane's electrical system. Electrical and electronics engineers work on high-tech projects like these.

Electrical engineers design new and better electronics. They also test equipment and solve problems. A project starts by deciding what the new electronics will do. Then, the engineer designs the circuits and other parts of the electronics. Engineers might draw their designs using a computer.

Later, the engineers test their designs and make them better. Many projects don't work at first. The engineers have to figure out why and then fix them.

Electrical engineers work on many kinds of products. They might work on cars, robots, cell phone systems, the lighting and wiring in buildings, and radar and navigation systems, for example.

Engineers work in offices, labs, or industrial plants. Many work a normal 40-hour week. At times, they work longer to meet deadlines.

I am sure everyone know about UFO..

but do you know what is UFO??
let me tell u..

UFO or an Unidentified Flying Object is the popular term for a any aerial phenomenon that cannot immediately be identified. Some definitions, such as the one used by the USAF, define a UFO as an object unable to be identified after scrutiny, while other definitions define an object as being a UFO from the time it is first reported as being unidentified, even though most subsequently become IFOs, Identified Flying Objects.

Reports of unidentified aerial phenomena date back to ancient times, but modern reports and the first official investigations began during World War II with sightings of so-called foo fighters by Allied airplane crews, and in 1946 with widespread sightings of European "ghost rockets". UFO reports became even more common after the first widely publicized United States UFO sighting, by private pilot Kenneth Arnold in mid 1947. Hundreds of thousands of UFO reports have since been made worldwide.

Since its introduction the term has become heavily associated with flying saucers and alien spacecraft, though an object may be classified as a UFO independently of opinion as to its origins. Most military and civilian UFO investigations concluded that the majority of objects can be identified either directly, or by applying Occam's Razor

Asalamualaikum , today I like write about the motorcycle.Motorcycle construction is the engineering, manufacturing, and assembly of components and systems for a motorcycle which results in performance, cost and aesthetics desired by the designer. With some exceptions, construction of modern mass-produced motorcycles has standardised on a steel or aluminium frame, telescopic forks holding the front wheel, and disc brakes. A gasoline powered engine typically consisting of between one and four cylinders (and less commonly, up to eight cylinders) coupled to a manual five- or six-speed sequential transmission drives the swingarm-mounted rear wheel by a chain, driveshaft or belt.ifferent types of motorcycles have different dynamics and these play a role in how a motorcycle performs in given conditions. For example, a shorter wheelbase would generally make a bike lean faster and would be quicker around corners compared to a longer wheelbase.[citation needed] Longer wheelbase on the other hand provides more stability in a straight line.

Motorcycles must be leaned in order to make turns. This lean is induced by the method known as countersteering, in which the rider presses on the handlebars on the side of the desired direction of turn, but 'steering' the bars in the opposite direction. Because it is counter-intuitive this practice is often very confusing to novices—and even to many experienced motorcyclists.

Short wheelbase motorcycles, such as sport bikes, can generate enough torque at the rear wheel, and enough stopping force at the front wheel, to lift the opposite wheel off the pavement. These actions, if performed on purpose, are known as wheelies and stoppies respectively. If carried past the point of recovery the resulting upset is known as "looping" the vehicle.

What impress me is this car can goes from 0 to 161 kilometer per hour in 6.6 seconds. At 7,800 RPM,the car will gain 660 horsepower. However, the Enzo has no radio like the other luxury cars. Enzo weights about 1365 kilograms or 3009 pounds. The car comes with six speed transmission manual only. It does not come with automatic transmission.

i am sure most of UMP student like to play a game called DOTA. ihave read about it.

DOTA or Defense of the Ancients (often referred to as DotA) is a custom scenario for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, based on the "Aeon of Strife" map for StarCraft. The objective of the scenario is to destroy the opponents' "Ancient". The two teams' ancients are heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called "creeps". As in role-playing games, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during the mission.

The scenario was developed with the World Editor of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and was updated upon the release of the Warcraft expansion The Frozen Throne. There have been many variations of the original concept; currently, the most popular is DotA Allstars, which has been maintained by several authors during development.

Since its release, Allstars has become a feature at several worldwide tournaments, including Blizzard Entertainment's BlizzCon and the Asian World Cyber Games, as well as the Cyberathlete Amateur and CyberEvolution leagues; Gamasutra declared that DotA was perhaps the most popular "free, non-supported game mod in the world".

Ipoh does not need another office-bearer. It needs a new image. It does not need to be another Kuala Lumpur, Johor Baru, George Town or Kuantan. We do not want and cannot hope for rapid economic development within the city limits.
As a resident here for over 50 years, I want Ipoh to project an image that other cities in Malaysia and maybe even in Asia cannot duplicate. This will put us in a unique position to compete with other cities by being successful yet not following the pathway set by economically industrialised cities. If one takes a good look at Ipoh, one will realise that it has great intrinsic beauty. It is surrounded by highlands and dotted with amazing limestone hills filled with caves, tunnels, subterranean caverns, underground rivers, mining pools, streams, rivers, hot springs, equatorial forests boasting flora and fauna that can equal any national park in the world. It is time the authorities clean up our city which used to be the cleanest in Malaysia. The first and most important step that must be taken is to move polluting industries out of the city limits.
I want Ipoh to have air that everyone in the world will envy. After all, many entrepreneurs have already written off Ipoh as having potential for industrial growth. So why try to compete with industrialised cities? We may as well aim for something unique.
Have only clean industries in Ipoh.
Remove every industry that emits smoke and air pollutants.
Clean industries are factories using electrical power, especially those using hydroelectric power, that Ipoh has from nearby sources like those generated in Temenggor and Hulu Perak. If this is not enough, we have other untapped hydroelectric power sources just outside our city.
Another source of clean electricity is wind-generated. Ipoh being in a valley gets lots of wind blowing up and down the mountainsides.
The large population of Ipoh can also be tapped to produce products at home.
Outsourcing of piece work to housewives is the surest way of sending money to homes so that housewives can shop at the shopping complexes.
To keep the city clean, reduce the number of vehicles using the roads.
We should embark on a clean public transport system, using electric light railway transport or trams and convert all buses and taxis into either electrical, or liquid gas engine ones.
We have beautiful rivers running through this city, so clean them up, increase the volume of water in them and use them for water sports and transportation.
Once we achieve the cleanest air status, tourists and expatriates will come automatically.
Then we go to the next step – develop our medical tourism business.
With clean air, Ipoh should attract private hospitals to set up here to give medical care to foreigners.
Also with a large elderly population of local pensioners and expatriates who retire here, this business will be very lucrative.

We can make Ipoh the centre for healthcare and recuperation.

What is Sepak Takraw..??

The name of Sepak Takraw comes from two languages. Sepak is "kick" in Malay, and Takraw is the "ball" in Thai. It’s game also same with the Japanese traditional game, “kemari’ where the players from a loose circle and the number of times the ball is kicked before it touches the ground is counted.

Sepak takraw are require the court, net height and three players each team. The size of court and net height are identical to those used in badminton. The rule of Sepak takraw a very similar with volleyball.

The rules for Sepak Takraw are:
a) The use of hand is not permitted.
b) Each player may touch thje ball only once before it is kicked over the net.
c) There is no rotation in the defense position.
d) It becomes a score even if the ball touches the net before falling into the companion court.

A ball made of the plastic. The weight is 170g – 190g, a perimeter 40cm and hole is 12 inci. The ball is smaller than a handball and a little bigger than a softball.

Well for those who watch before, do u still remember the girl who can turn invisible. A lot of people do not know this. But many, many years ago before Jessica Alba became famous starring in big movies like Sin City and Fantastic Four, this sweet-looking Hollywood actress was actually in Sarawak filming a very low budget unknown movie called The Sleeping Dictionary. The story was about a white man came to Sarawak to study Iban culture and meet her. Then she had taught hi everything he need even fall in love. However the main point is not this, but imagine a superstar was once taking shots in our country. If this movie was promoted, who knows Sarawak financial will be raised with tourist visit. Or in another words, iban culture will be promoted as well.

Einstein was placed in two jars one at Dr. Harvey's home and one at the office. Supprisely, no one know until 22 years later. This matter had been revealed by a news reporter and find out that Einstein had been cut into 240 or more slices from various areas for study. They found that Einstein brain contain more neurons which help Einstein think better. Furthermore with a smaller brain lead to higher performance of a brain which Einstein had, or in another word, Einstein brain was enchanced beyond normal levels.

When come to really big lizard, people often confuse the alligator with crocodiles. There are actually two ways to differentiate them apart. That is their location n their teeth.
Alligators are freshwater creature, usually founf in rivers and ponds. However a crocodiles prefer brackish or dank semi-salt.
Then the teeth, crocodile usually show they fourth tooth on each side of its jaw sticked out above the skin. But alligators have an empty socket at the upper jaw. The teeth were hidden and only show when their mouth is close.
Although the alligator only has around 80 teeth at one time, but as they worn down, another grows underneath and replace it. In their natural lifespan of 30-35 years in the wild, believe it or not a alligator can go through about 3000 teeth in its life time.

hello..now i want to leave a comment about blue and indigo colours.

BLUE relates to self expression. Speech, communication, the ability to communicate our needs and requirements. Spirit of truth and purpose. There's are some positive and negative of the BLUE colour. positive aspects from this colour can be loyalty, tactful, trustworthy and peaceful. negative aspect from this colour are unfaithful, untrustworthy, self-righteous and cold. BLUE Calming, relaxing and healing. Not as sedating as INDIGO.
Campared to INDIGO it relates to self responsibility, that is to say, being responsible for one's own life, responsibility to oneself to follow the soul's path and needs and trusting one's own intuition. The ability to see things from a higher viewpoint rather than purely for satisfaction of the ego or one's material comfort. Positive aspect from this colour can be highly intuitive, faithful, sense of unity, fearless, devotion to duty, articulate and practical idealist. Negative aspect from this colour are separateness, fearful, intolerant, impractical, inconsiderate, and depressed easily. Indigo is a sedative and it helps to open up our intuition. The colour of divine knowledge and the higher mind. Some people find indigo is helpful for studying so this colour could be used as part of the decor of a library or study.

i just read a new article about one of the most poisonous creature in this world..
it is king cobra..

It seems unfairly menacing that a snake that can literally "stand up" and look a full-grown person in the eye would also be among the most venomous on the planet, but that describes the famous king cobra.King cobras can reach 18 feet (5.5 meters) in length, making them the longest of all venomous snakes. When confronted, they can raise up to one-third of their bodies straight off the ground and still move forward to attack. They will also flare out their iconic hoods and emit a bone-chilling hiss that sounds almost like a growling dog.Their venom is not the most potent among venomous snakes, but the amount of neurotoxin they can deliver in a single bite—up to two-tenths of a fluid ounce (seven milliliters)—is enough to kill 20 people, or even an elephant. Fortunately, king cobras are shy and will avoid humans whenever possible, but they are fiercely aggressive when cornered.

hye there..wassup...i would like to share some facts about a martial art. i read about this before..it is capoeira..

By practicing capoeira you improve:
Your concentration: The attention paid to your adversaries movements must be constant.
Your perseverance: Perfect mastery of one’s body comes only after diligent practice.
Your daringness: Little by little one’s fear of performing certain acrobatic movements is overcome.
Your cunning: In order to fool your adversary with unexpected sequences of movements.

A few facts:
One hour of capoeira burns about 500 calories.
Stretching and weight training are complementary to capoeira as they improve flexibility.
Everyone can practice capoeira according to his/her natural abilities. Only those with spinal cord problems must receive authorization and be followed by a doctor in order to practice.
Capoeira is one of the best physical activities if not the best!

hello..i appear again.. here, i would like to share about something interesting that i've just read.. the article is about goats that climb trees..

In Morocco goats climb Argan trees to consume delicious berries which are similar to the olives. Local farmers follow these goats because fruit of the Argan tree has the nut inside which is used to make delicious cooking oil. Interesting fact (besides the climbing goats) is that Morocco goats spit or excrete these nuts, which then farmers use to make the Argan oil.
However, Argan trees are close to extinction because of the tree wood harvesting. Some organizations are trying to promote Argan oil to became marketing success in order to preserve these weird trees. We all hope that these goats will continue their climbing adventures!

found from : http://www.interestingfacts.org/

comment : i never thought of climbing tree goat before this. but when i read about this article i am amazed and hope to see this happen for real. these goats are really determined to get what they want, and climb up the argan tree. however i feel funny when i see the picture of these goats up above the tree.

I had read this article and i want to share to you all about a sport named basketball.

Basketball is a team sport in which two teams of five active players each try to score points against one another by propelling a ball through a 10 feet (3 m) high hoop (the goal) under organized rules. Basketball is one of the most popular and widely viewed sports in the world.[citation needed]

Points are scored by shooting the ball through the basket above; the team with more points at the end of the game wins. The ball can be advanced on the court by bouncing it (dribbling) or passing it between teammates. Disruptive physical contact (fouls) is not permitted and there are restrictions on how the ball can be handled (violations).

Through time, basketball has developed to involve common techniques of shooting, passing and dribbling, as well as players' positions, and offensive and defensive structures. Typically, the tallest members of a team will play center or one of two forward positions, while shorter players or those who possess the best ball handling skills and speed, play the guard positions. While competitive basketball is carefully regulated, numerous variations of basketball have developed for casual play. In some countries, basketball is also a popular spectator sport.

While competitive basketball is primarily an indoor sport, played on a basketball court, less regulated variations have become exceedingly popular as an outdoor sport among both inner city and rural groups.

So,what is your opinion about this game. For me,to master this sport,we have to learn how to shoot, pass, and drib the ball. Lastly is practice everyday because practive makes perfect.

i want to share to you all about a cellphone named SONY ERICSSON W580i.The speciality of this model of handphone is it can count how many steps you walk during you bring or put this cellphone in your pocket.

Monitor Your Walking

Once you do, things get interesting. First, you’ll notice the W580i has a built-in pedometer. The “steps” feature counts your walking steps based on movement. If you just walk and hold the W580i still in your hand (which I initially did as a test), the steps might not register correctly. In fact, I initially thought the feature didn’t work.

If you correctly slip the W580i in your pocket and walk with a natural sway in your hips, though, it’ll register relatively accurately. So long as you have “step counting” activated, even if you forget about your W580i while it’s in your pocket or bag it will do its job to track your steps.

The walking feature measures your distance (again unfortunately in yards), the number of steps and how many calories you’ve burnt. You’re able to change certain unit settings – i.e. from kCalories to kJoules or miles to kilometers – but not yards to feet. This should be an option.

Wow. Is that incredible? If you are an athlet, and you are lazy to count your step during your practice, this model of cellphone suitable for u.

For those who are gamers, plese read this article.

Video games are computer- or microprocessor-controlled games. Computers can create virtual tools to be used in a game between human (or simulated human) opponents, such as cards or dice, or can simulate far more elaborate worlds where mundane or fantastic things can be manipulated through gameplay.

A computer or video game uses one or more input devices, typically a button/joystick combination (on arcade games); a keyboard, mouse and/or trackball (computer games); or a controller or a motion sensitive tool. (console games). More esoteric devices such as paddle controllers have also been used for input. In computer games, the evolution of user interfaces from simple keyboard to mouse, joystick or joypad has profoundly changed the nature of game development.

There are many genres of video game; the first commercial video game, Pong, was a simple simulation of table tennis. As processing power increased, new genres such as adventure and action games were developed that involved a player guiding a character from a third person perspective through a series of obstacles. This "real-time" element cannot be easily reproduced by a board game which is generally limited to "turn-based" strategy; this advantage allows video games to simulate situations such as combat more realistically. Additionally, the playing of a video game does not require the same physical skill, strength and/or danger as a real-world representation of the game, and can provide either very realistic, exaggerated or impossible physics, allowing for elements of a fantastical nature, games involving physical violence, or simulations of sports. Lastly, a computer can, with varying degrees of success, simulate one or more human opponents in traditional table games such as chess, leading to simulations of such games that can be played by a single player.

In more open-ended computer simulations, also known as sandbox-style games, the game provides a virtual environment in which the player may be free to do whatever they like within the confines of this universe. Sometimes, there is a lack of goals or opposition, which has stirred some debate on whether these should be considered "games" or "toys".

After i read this article, i know more about games. However, before you playing games, make sure you look at the time.If not, you will slack and continue to play untill you realiza that you have waste much time.

I had read this article from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CJ7

Chow Ti (Stephen Chow) is a poor laborer working at construction sites. He lives in a semi-demolished house with his son, Dicky (Xu Jiao). Chow is eager to save money to send his son to private school, to ensure that their life will be better and brighter in the future than it is now. However, Dicky is often bullied by other children and his teacher (mainly due to his lowly stature), and he usually finds comfort with a young tutor, Ms. Yuen.

One day, while at a department store watching television, Dicky begs his father to buy him a popular robotic toy called CJ1. Chow cannot afford it, and the situation ends badly after Chow spanks the stubborn Dicky in front of other customers. Once again, Dicky finds comfort in Ms. Yuen, who is passing. That night, Chow visits the junkyard where he often picks up home appliances and clothes for Dicky. He finds a strange green orb and takes it home, telling Dicky that it is a new toy, better than the robot they saw earlier. Dicky is hesitant at first, but agrees to keep it. The following evening, the orb transforms into a cuddly alien creature that befriends Dicky. After playing, Dicky names the alien "CJ7", and then falls asleep. He dreams that the alien will help him gain popularity and good grades at school. Buoyed by his dream, Dicky takes CJ7 to school the following morning, but he receives a zero on his exam and is humiliated during physical education. Frustrated, Dicky tries to dispose of the CJ7, but realizes his mistake and later reconciles with it. The next day, because of his alien pet, Dicky begins to make new friends at school. However, as his grades have been declining, Chow takes CJ7 away, stating his son will never pass school if there are distractions. The father and son fall out and, predictably, Dicky sticks close to Ms. Yuen, who promises she will look after him. This cheers Chow up somewhat, who fears he might lose his son's love.

Later, while Chow is working on a skyscraper, the heavy pipe he is shackled to falls, pulling him along with it. He later dies at a hospital, and Ms. Yuen takes Dicky home, explaining what has happened. The boy then shoves his tutor out of the house; through his tears he tells himself that his father would never leave him alone.

At the hospital, CJ7, using its otherworldly powers, revives Chow and transports him home. The next morning, Dicky, in tears of happiness, promises his father he will never give up at school or in life. The cost of CJ7's rescue is high, as his own life fades away through the exhaustion. While Dicky waits and waits for his pet to resurrect, he receives a message (presumably from CJ7): continue with your schoolwork. Following the advice, things return to normal, with Chow attempting to flirt with Ms. Yuen (with little success), and Dicky playing with his new school friends. One calm afternoon, Dicky's wildest dream greets him when a UFO zooms by, dropping hundreds of healthy CJ7s in the process.

What a touching movie right?
What i had learned from this article is be grateful of what you got at this moment.

hello friends..
Do you want to know some benefits about yogurt?? Here i have something to share with. Yoghurt has nutritional benefits beyond those of milk, people who are moderately lactose-intolerant can enjoy yoghurt without ill effects, because the lactose in the milk precursor is converted to lactic acid by the bacterial culture. The reduction of lactose bypasses the affected individuals' need to process the milk sugar themselves.
Yoghurt also has medical uses, in particular for a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, and in preventing antibiotic-associated diarrhea. One study suggests that eating yoghurt containing L. acidophilus helps prevent vulvovaginal candidiasis, though the evidence is not conclusive.
Yoghurt is believed to promote good gum health, possibly because of the probiotic effect of lactic acids present in yoghurt.
As a conclusion, yogurt is good for our health.

A pear is a pomaceous fruit produced by a tree of genus Pyrus. The English word pear is probably from Common West Germanic *pera, probably a loanword of Vulgar Latin pira, the plural of pirum, which is itself of unknown origin. It is known as nashpati in India See also Peorð. The place name Perry can indicate the historical presence of pear trees. The term "pyriform" is sometimes used to describe something which is "pear-shaped". This is Bayoy's favorite word. Pear-fect!

The pear is classified within Maloideae, a subfamily within Rosaceae. The apple (Malus ×domestica) which it resembles in floral structure, is also a member of this subfamily. In both cases the so-called fruit is composed of the receptacle or upper end of the flower-stalk (the so-called calyx tube) greatly dilated, and enclosing within its cellular flesh the five cartilaginous carpels which constitute the "core" and are really the true fruit. From the upper rim of the receptacle are given off the five sepals, the five petals, and the very numerous stamens. Another major relative of the pear (and thus the apple) is the quince.

The form of the pear and of the apple respectively, although usually characteristic enough, is not by itself sufficient to distinguish them, for there are pears which cannot by form alone be distinguished from apples, and apples which cannot by superficial appearance be recognized from pears. A major distinction is the occurrence in the tissue of the fruit, or beneath the rind, of clusters of lignified cells known as "grit" in the case of the pear, while in the apple no such formation of woody cells takes place. The appearance of the tree—the bark, the foliage, the type of inflorescence (i.e. form of the flower cluster)—is, however, usually quite characteristic in the two species.

Bear is mammal in the order Carnivora.Bears are classified as caniforms or doglike carnivorans with pinniped being thei closest living relatives.Although there are only eight living species of bear, they are widespread, appearing in a wide variety of habitats throughout the Northern Hemisphere and partially in the Southern Hemisphere. That which pertains to bears is called ursine. Bears are found in the continents of North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.

Common characteristics of modern bears include a large body with stocky legs, a long snout, shaggy hair, plantigrade paws with five nonretractile claws, and a short tail. While the polar bear is mostly carnivorous and the giant panda feeds almost entirely on bamboo, the remaining six species are omnivorous, with largely varied diets including both plants and animals.

With the exceptions of courting individuals and mothers with their young, bears are typically solitary animals. They are sometimes diurnal, but are usually active during the night (nocturnal) or twilight (crepuscular). Bears are aided by an excellent sense of smell, and despite their heavy build and awkward gait, they can run quickly and are adept climbers and swimmers. Bears use shelters such as caves and burrows as their dens, which are occupied by most species during the winter for a long period of sleep similar to hibernation.

Bears have been hunted since prehistoric times for their meat and fur. To this day, they play a prominent role in the arts, mythology, and other cultural aspects of various human societies. In modern times, the bear's existence has been pressured through the encroachment of their habitats and the illegal trade of bears and bear parts, including the Asian bile bear market. The IUCN lists six bear species as vulnerable or endangered, and even "least concern" species such as the brown bear are at risk of extirpation in certain countries. The poaching and international trade of these most threatened populations is prohibited, but still ongoing.

The Coconut Palm is a member of the Family Arecaceae . It is the only species in the genus Cocos, and is a large palm, growing to 30 m tall, with pinnate leaves 4-6 m long, pinnae 60-90 cm long; old leaves break away cleanly leaving the trunk smooth. The term coconut refers to the nut of the coconut palm.

The coconut palm is grown throughout the tropical world, for decoration as well as for its many culinary and non-culinary uses; virtually every part of the coconut palm has some human uses.

The coconut has spread across much of the tropics, probably aided in many cases by seafaring peoples. The fruit is light and buoyant and presumably spread significant distances by marine currents. Fruits collected from the sea as far north as Norway have been found to be viable (and subsequently germinated under the right conditions). In the Hawaiian Islands, the coconut is regarded as a Polynesian introduction, first brought to the islands by early Polynesian voyagers from their homelands in the South Pacific. They are now ubiquitous to most of the planet between 26ºN and 26ºS.

The flowers of the coconut palm are polygamomonoecious, with both male and female flowers in the same inflorescence. Flowering occurs continuously, with female flowers producing seeds. Coconut palms are believed to be largely cross-pollinated, although some dwarf varieties are self-pollinating.

The "vegetable" generally means the edible parts of plants. The definition of the word is traditional rather than scientific, however, and therefore the usage of the word is somewhat arbitrary and subjective, as it is determined by individual cultural customs of food selection and food preparation.

Generally speaking, a herbaceous plant or plant part which is regularly eaten as unsweetened or salted food by humans is considered to be a vegetable.[citation needed] Mushrooms belong to the biological kingdom Fungi, not the plant kingdom, and yet they are also generally considered to be vegetables, at least in the retail industry.[1][2] Nuts, seeds, grains, herbs, spices and culinary fruits are usually not considered to be vegetables, even though all of them are edible parts of plants.

In general, vegetables are those plant parts that are regarded as being suitable to be part of savory or salted dishes, rather than sweet dishes.[who?]However there are many exceptions, such as for example the pumpkin, which can be eaten as a savory dish, a vegetable, but which can also be sweetened and served in a pie as a dessert.

Some vegetables, such as carrots, bell peppers and celery, are eaten either raw or cooked; while others are eaten only when cooked.

The tomato (Solanum lycopersicum, syn. Lycopersicon lycopersicum) is a herbaceous, usually sprawling plant in the Solanaceae or nightshade family, as are its close cousins tobacco, chili peppers, and eggplant. It is a perennial, often grown outdoors in temperate climates as an annual, typically reaching to 1-3m (3 to 10 ft) in height, with a weak, woody stem that often vines over other plants.

The leaves are 10–25 cm long, odd pinnate, with 5–9 leaflets on petioles,[1] each leaflet up to 8cm long, with a serrated margin; both the stem and leaves are densely glandular-hairy. The flowers are 1–2cm across, yellow, with five pointed lobes on the corolla; they are borne in a cyme of 3–12 together.

The tomato is native to Central, South, and southern North America from Mexico to Argentina. There is evidence that the first domesticated tomato was a little yellow fruit, ancestor of L. cerasiforme, grown by the Aztecs in Mexico, who called it xitomatl (pronounced shi-to-ma-tlh), meaning "plump thing with a navel". The word tomato comes from a word in the Nahuatl language, tomatl. The specific name, lycopersicum, means "wolf-peach" (compare the related species Solanum lycocarpum, whose scientific name means "wolf-fruit", common name "wolf-apple"), as they are a major food of wild canids in South America.

In some cultures, the word "tomato" is used by individuals with a naturalistic point of view to refer to a deity, in a sarcastic way.

ALZHEIMER'S disease (AD), also called Alzheimer disease or simply Alzheimers, is the most common form of dementia -- a progressive decline in cognitive function.

This incurable, degenerative and terminal disease was first described by German psychiatrist Alois Alzheimer in 1901.Generally it is diagnosed in people over 65 years of age, although the less-prevalent early-onset Alzheimer's disease can occur much earlier.
Reduced brain volume, or brain atrophy, has been associated with Alzheimer's disease, and is used as a marker of the disease's progression. Putting it simply, as your brain shrinks, you are more prone to the disease.
Nutrition may have a role to play. In a study published in the Sept 9 issue of the journal Neurology, a combined study involving Oxford University and the University of Oslo reports an association between decreased levels of vitamin B12 and a decline in brain volume. Many factors that affect brain health are thought to be out of our control.
However, this new study suggests that simply adjusting our diets to consume more vitamin B12 through eating meat, fish, fortified cereals or milk may be something we can easily adjust to prevent brain shrinkage and so perhaps save our memory. "Research shows that vitamin B12 deficiency is a public health problem, especially among the elderly, so more vitamin B12 intake could help reverse this problem.
Still, vitamin B supplements or whole foods rich in the vitamin B family like organic fruits and vegetables can be a good and cheap option.

High Heel Woes

hye...today i want to share with u about the affect wear the high heel.

Strappy heels may be sexy, but they can pose serious health risks, according to research. If giving up high heels is too much to ask for, take steps towards choosing a better fit. Trevor Prior, consultant podiatric surgeon with the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, doesn't recommend that women wear high heel shoes, but he does offer these tips for making a smarter purchase:

* Make sure the toe box is the shape of your foot (and not any narrower) and is 1 cm longer than your big toe.
* The more padding the better.
* A stronger strap over the arch of the foot can help stop the foot slipping forward and provide better support.
* How low can you go? Don't choose heels higher than an inch.
* Stilettos do not provide enough support, so go for a wide or thick heel.

title: Chasing Harry Winston
Author: Lauren Weisberger

I have one interesting novel to share with you. The title is Chasing Harry Winston. i found that this novel is different from other novel that i read before. Let me story a little about this novel. Emmy is newly single, and not by choice. She was this close to the ring and the baby she's wanted her whole life when her boyfriend left her for his twenty-three-year-old personal trainer whose fees are paid by Emmy. With her plans for the perfect white wedding in the trash, Emmy is now ordering takeout for one. Her friends insist an around-the-world sex-fueled adventure will solve all her problems could they be right?
Leigh, a young star in the publishing business, is within striking distance of landing her dream job as senior editor and marrying her dream guy. And to top it all off, she has just purchased her dream apartment. Only when Leigh begins to edit the enfant terrible of the literary world, the brilliant and brooding Jesse Chapman, does she start to notice some cracks in her perfect life...
Adriana is the drop-dead-gorgeous daughter of a famous supermodel. She possesses the kind of feminine wiles made only in Brazil, and she never hesitates to use them. But she's about to turn thirty and as her mother keeps reminding her she won't have her pick of the men forever. Everyone knows beauty is ephemeral and there's always someone younger and prettier right around the corner. Suddenly she's wondering...does Mother know best?
These three very different girls have been best friends for a decade in the greatest city on earth. As they near thirty, they're looking toward their future...but despite all they've earned first-class travel, career promotions, invites to all the right parties, and luxuries small and large they're not quite sure they like what they see...
One Saturday night at the Waverly Inn, Adriana and Emmy make a pact: within a single year, each will drastically change her life. Leigh watches from the sidelines, not making any promises, but she'll soon discover she has the most to lose. Their friendship is forever, but everything else is on the table. Three best friends. Two resolutions. One year to pull it off.
i hope you also like this novel too..

today i want to tell you something about the famous ice cream-baskin robbins..
Baskin-Robbins is a global chain of ice cream parlors founded by Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins in 1945 in Glendale, California. It claims to be the world's largest ice cream franchise, with more than 5,800 locations, 2,800 of which are located in the United States. Baskin-Robbins sells ice cream in over 30 countries, including Canada, Japan, Mexico, Bahrain, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, South Korea, India, and Taiwan.
Baskin-Robbins is known for its "31 flavors" slogan. When the first Baskin-Robbins store opened, it offered 21 flavors, an innovative concept at the time. The idea for having 31 flavors came from the Carson-Roberts advertising agency (which later became Ogilvy & Mather) in 1953, along with the slogan "Count the Flavors. Where flavor counts." 31 was also more than the 28 flavors then famously offered at Howard Johnson's restaurants.

Invention of Zero
Hi guys did you know that zero was invented in India by Indian mathematicians in 5th century. They widely used it in calculations, astronomy and astrology. Zero was spread by Arabians to the Europe and there on it was spread all over. Before this, all Europeans used roman numerical which were difficult to calculate on as they were in the form of Symbols, lengthy and had limits. I wonder if none of us know what’s zero is.?

Earth's Record Holders
Okays today I want to share about all the record on earth. The highest mountain on Earth, Mt. Everest grows about 4 millimeters a year since two tectonic plates which collided millions of years ago to form the Himalayas, continue to press against each other. Earths highest waterfall is at Angel Falls in Venezuela which drops 3,212 feet (979 meters). Hottest place on earth is Azizia in Libya 136 degrees Fahrenheit (57.8 Celsius) and coldest was in Vostok, Antarctica -129 Fahrenheit (-89 Celsius). Pacific is the biggest ocean (32.6% of the Earth's surface). Interesting fact is that Amazon recently became longest river by a bit more than 100 meters. According to Guido Gelli (director of science at the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) "Today, we can consider the Amazon the longest river in the world". Amazon is 4,225 miles (6,800 kilometers) long and the Nile is 4,160 miles long (6,695 kilometers). Can I swim in there?

East And West Germany Sports
Here is some info about football lover. Some say that 1974 FIFA World Cup was the one of the most intense world cups ever played. Juergen Sparwasser scored the most famous goal in the German soccer history, giving East Germany a win over the West in the only meeting between the sides. That was the only lost game for West Germany in the World Cup and that year West Germany became new World Cup Champion. Juergen was arrested later on for re-painting street signs in East Germany. Sound interesting isn’t.
