Hi to all... Hope you all are very fine and having great day ahead...
Yahoooooooooo... I'm the 1st one to blog for this month.

I get a teddy bear for valentines day from a special one(hehehemmm...). So, I guess wanted to talk about that today.

The teddy bear is a stuffed toy bear. It is an enduring, traditional form of a stuffed animal, often serving the purpose of comforting children. In recent times, some teddy bears have become expensive collector's items. Teddy bear collectors are known as arctophiles from the Greek words arctos (bear) and philos (lover). Hmmmmm..... This is what I get when search about teddy bear in wikipedia web. Well, I got a very soft spongy white colour teddy bear which is holding a pink heart shape. wow.. I certainly admire it alot. It will be always with me when i'm sleeping. Thanks to the special one who gave it to me. (hehe...)

That's all for today. Bubye all...

Good day, today I wan to post my own writing which save in my computer for quite a long time. It is about the education fair held in our university last month. I wrote it on 1st March.

Yesterday, our university was organized and educational fair in the hall of complex Sukan. The exhibitors included Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Universiti Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Sains Malaysia and others private universities. Besides, the Deputy Prime Minister and Finace Ministry, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was invited to attend the opening ceremony on 28th March.
I went to the education fair on around 10 in the morning. However I do not witness the Deputy Prime Minister at that time. Besides, there is a talk from the national astronaut at around 3pm. I am not interested in the talk so my friend and I just back to our hostel. I felt proud of my school because we are able to organize the educational fair and able to invite the Deputy Prime Minister and national astronaut to our school and give a speech.
I hope that the quality of UMP can be improve day by day and become an famous university in Malaysia and the world.

I read an article name ‘Incredible Home for the World’s Richest’ recently. The pictures showed in the website are all great, big, beautiful houses. The home is located at London, England and the name for the house is Lev Leviev. The home includes a bulletproof front door, gold-plated pool, indoor cinema and hair salon.

Do you wish to have a gorgeous house in your life? In my view, I wish my house not to be gorgeous like the billionaires house because it must be hard for me to clean the house. I prefer a smaller house which full with love. A smaller house is easy for the family member to spend their time together in house and indirectly it can inculcate the harmony atmosphere and relationship among the family members. Having a dinner together and watch television program with family after dinner becomes the habits in my life. I really enjoy the time when I eat my dinner with my family even though my house is not big and beautiful like a palace. Besides, a gorgeous house’s owner needs an extra attention in take care of their house. They may need to worry about they would become the victim from kidnap.
In conclusion, a gorgeous house does not instill the good relationship in the family.

Assalamualaikum to miss Marziah bt Ramli and my friends..have a nice day..today i want to share about the flying car..i very interested with this car..
From the article,i have read,it say, Moller International has developed the first and only feasible, personally affordable, personal vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicle the world has ever seen.

You've always known it was just a matter of time before the world demanded some kind of flying machine which would replace the automobile. Of course, this machine would have to be capable of VTOL, be easy to maintain, cost effective and reliable. Well, we at Moller International believe we have come up with the solution. That solution is the volantor named M400 Skycar.

Let's compare the M400 Skycar with what's available now, the automobile. Take the most technologically advanced automobile, the Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Lamborgini, or the more affordable Acura, Accord, or the like. It seems like all of the manufacturers of these cars are touting the new and greatly improved "aerodynamics" of their cars. Those in the aerospace industry have been dealing with aerodynamics from the start. In the auto industry they boast of aerodynamics, performance tuned wide track suspensions, electronic ignition and fuel injection systems, computer controllers, and the list goes on. What good does all this "advanced engineering" do for you when the speed limit is around 60 MPH and you are stuck on crowded freeways anyway?

Can any automobile give you this scenario? From your garage to your destination, the M400 Skycar can cruise comfortably at 275 MPH (maximum speed of 375 MPH) and achieve up to 20 miles per gallon on clean burning, ethanol fuel. No traffic, no red lights, no speeding tickets. Just quiet direct transportation from point A to point B in a fraction of the time. Three dimensional mobility in place of two dimensional immobility.

No matter how you look at it the automobile is only an interim step on our evolutionary path to independence from gravity. That's all it will ever be.
I hope i will make it on my self. I dreaming that i can make a new car that can have many function like, can drive on road, air, and water..that's all..thank you.

Good day everyone. I just came back from trekking today. Hence, I would like to share my trekking experience to my dearest teacher and friends. As a member from the trekking activities, a group of around 80 persons was started off to the Tekam campsite on Friday in the evening. The activities of the trekking include jungle trekking, abseiling, night walk and cave exploring. We started our activities on Saturday 9 in the morning which is jungle trekking. The trekking across the river and of course all of us get wet after the trekking. We just took around one and a half hour to finish this activity. After this, we have to prepare the lunch for all members. After the lunch, the next activity is abseiling. Abseiling is an activity that you need to jump down from a higher place to lower place by using the rope. This activity is quite boring for me, because I do not think that it is excited enough for me. Next, we continued our activity which is night walking at around 9pm. Each group was requested to complete the task given. We were requested to go to each checkpoint to answer the question and finally took our candle at the final checkpoint. When we got the candle, we were requested to light off the torch light and walk back to the starting point. Our group walked carefully during we went back to the starting point because it is very dark during tat night. Finally, we are the first group who went back to the starting point. After the activity, the sky started rain heavily.
Next morning, we continued our last activity which is cave exploring. For me, this is the most challenging activity. It is because we need to across many obstacles to enter the cave. After the yesterday night rain, the level of rivers water was rose. Hence, it became one of obstacle for us to enter the cave. Next, we have climb into the cave with limited space. Besides, we need to be careful while walked in the cave because the land in the cave became slippery after the rain. Finally, we finish our activity after 3 hours. In my view, it is an unforgettable experience in my life because I may not have the chance to explore the cave in my future. Moreover, the scenes of the caves are very beautiful and I really enjoy the tranquility in the jungle. I hope I will have the chance to join these kind of activity after my university life.

Assalamualaikum and hye everyone.. now i want to shere about the satellite downlink..the meaning of satellites is tha small object orbiting around bigger objects. The moon is actually a satellite orbiting around earth. The moon is a natural satellite but today when we talk about satellites we mean human made machines which orbit around earth for a variety of purposes.

Satellite services:

There is a huge variety of satellite services. Satellites can be used for military purposes, weather forecast, navigation (GPS), communication (data transmission), internet and much more.
One of the most frequent uses of satellites is to transmit TV channels around the world.
3 kinds of Satellites
Satellites orbit around the earth. There are 3 kinds of satellites classified by the orbit distance from earth.

Low earth orbit (LEO) – this satellite orbits earth at a distance of 160-480 km. because it is so close to earth it needs to orbit at a fast speed in order to prevent from the earth's gravity to pull it down. The LEO satellites move at a speed approx. 28,000 km per hour and can finish one orbit around the earth in about an hour and a half.
Medium earth orbit (MEO) – this satellite orbits earth at a distance of 9,000-18,000 km. these are mainly communication satellites above the north/south poles. Their orbit patter is oval. Because these satellites are further than earth from the first group there is a need for tracking systems down here on earth in order to keep track of these satellites.
Geostationary earth Orbit (GEO) – this satellite orbits earth at a distance of 35,60 km from earth and orbits earth at the same speed our planet revolves around itself. This means that the satellite is stationary above the same position all the time. Usually there is a need for 3 different GEO satellites to cover the whole earth (not taking into account the polls). These satellites are used mainly for constant communication or weather satellite services.

How do satellites transmit TV channels?

Television programs origin from a broadcasting studio, it could be a live broadcast or a taped TV program. The program is translated into a signal. The signal is sent up to the satellite with a process called – uplink. When it is received at the satellite, the signal is transmitted to another satellite using a process called turnaround, or it is transmitted back down to earth using a process called downlink. When a signal is down linked back to earth it is received by a satellite dish which we all know.

Because of the whole process of up linking and down linking, there is a transmission delay of a few seconds. This is why viewers of a cable channel will see it a few seconds before the viewers of a satellite channel.
That's all the information that can i shere about satellites downlink..thank you. =X

Do you agree or disagree that the Malaysia Education Ministry should continue implementing the policy of teaching Mathematics and Science in English?

I was agreed with the policy of teaching Mathematics and Science in English before this. It is because teaching mathematics and science in English symbolise globalisation of Malaysia. Besides, it is not only for the student to understand the specific scientific word easily, yet it can improve the students’ English language proficiency.

However, I beg to differ from my view that I have made before. Why? For my point of view, if Malaysia wants to become an advanced and developed country, what we need is not only the knowledge of science and mathematics but the patriotic from the nation. And now, mother language is an important feature that can inculcate the spirit of patriotic among the nation to achieve civilisation. The government should execute the policy of teaching mathematics and science in Mother tongue especially in the primary school. It enables the students in still the patriotic in our national language and encourages the students to accomplish the knowledge using the national language. Hence, the acquaintance in using national language among the students will be increase.

Next, the policy of teaching mathematics and science in English will cause the vanishing of the mother language in each ethnic. We may face the disappearance of unique culture if the current policy is still implementing. Teaching mathematics and science in mother language will in still the mother tongue and culture for the students so that the unique culture in Malaysia can be reserved. An obvious example that we can distinguish between two countries are Japan and Singapore. The former country used her owns language which is Japanese as the medium of teaching mathematics and science. The nations in Japan felt proud of their country, language and culture. Furthermore, they are able to use their language to achieve science and technology and become well developed country in the world. For the other country like Singapore, the medium in education is English. The Singaporeans achieved their science and technology in the world, but they lost their unique characteristic in their language. The new generation of Singaporeans tend to speak in English and behaved the western culture nowadays. From the above situations, we can see that the importance of the language will bring the effects of a culture towards a country.

On the hand, one of the reasons that I disagree with the policy is the policy may burden the both the students and teachers. For my information, some school teaching mathematics and sciences in both languages which is English and Chinese. The students and teachers were force to extend their class beyond the timetable. Additional classes were made to make sure that the student can master their knowledge of science and mathematic in both English and Chinese. In addition, the stresses should not increase on the students especially the primary students because this is the best time for them to enjoy in learning.

In conclusion, I do not agree in implementing the policy of teaching mathematic and science in English. It is because I believe that we can achieve civilisation or science and technology by using our own language in Malaysia’s education. Last but not least, develop a country before develop national language!

hello miss and all my beloved friends...
do you enjoy your weekend???i'm sure most of you go to 'jom heboh' at kuantan...
so sad..i can't join it..never mind,it's not important..
ok,now let me share some adverture memory with you all..
last weekend,i had participated in a camping under my curiculum club, trekking,as well as LAW.It was held in Terkam, located in Jerantut. That camping started on 20-22 March 2009.About 78 students came from diferrent faculty joined this activity to get a higher score in curiculum, also am i.At about 7.30 pm,we went there by two UMP buses and the travel took about 3 hours.Unfortunately,I can't described the journey because i slept all the time in the bus, sorry. But,I could guaranted it was a very wonderful scene whole the travel.About 11pm,we arrived.Firstly,we needed to trough along caves around the main road.It look so scared because there was no any electrical support. The caves on that night along the main road can't seen very well but it was a unique that I never seen whole my life before this.At first,we are given some briefing about the place and the rules that should be followed. All of us gave full attention on that speech because we understood right now we are staying in a wild jungle.Next, after accepting a tent for each group,we must built it and the base location to sleep in the cave,'BALAI CAVE'.It was a cold weather like Megamall what they said.Yes,i agreed because during sleeping,my body felt so cold like in lecture hall. But,it made me felt more asleep.
The next day,we took a breakfast sandwitch bread and teh.We jogged around the place and had some exercises to make our body fit. Then, about 9.30 o'clock,we continued by jungle trekking leaded by the instructers. We walked along the jungle and took a fresh air.At the same time,we saw the beautiful scene,it was wonderful trekking. One hour later,we came back and ready to prepare for lunch.Fortunately, for this time, was not my group to prepare the lunch but it was another group. So,to spend the free time,i got a slept with others friends. So enjoyed after having a long journey. Then,my unwaited activities cames, abseilling. This was my first time to try this adventure activity,so i was so excited waited my turned. So,when i got the chance,i went up there to show and try it.Absolutely,i could said that,it was very amazing but i thought it not so challenging because it was not so height as what i wanted. But,it was a good tried from me.Maybe, next time i want to do it again in future.So.after abseilling,i had a slept on the Megamall.
On that night,we had given a task to complete for each group. That task was about the history of that place.So.to complete it we needed to travel again around the caves to get the clues.Firstly we are given to use the touchlight but after got the answer,we had to use a candle only. How can you imagine walked in the dark by using only a candle.Yes,it so scared but i like it..heheheh..After calculating,my group got third place among the all.On that night, rain came.My tent could not be saved anymore,so most of girls took a slept in surau.
For the last day,in the morning we did an explored caves. The travel so challenging, cross the wild jungle,a small river, and some of friends were bitted by 'pacat'.When we arrived on the caves, there were more extra amazing shape of the caves that we could seen.We had explored about 5 caves:Angin cave,Sanding caves,Terang Bulan caves and so on.We must going through the caves to see the scene up there.More magics and amazing shapes came from the wall of the caves, that could not be created by people, only HIM.We leave that base of the camp after having the lunch, special day than before. We moved by 4 pm and in the buses, most of us slept because eveyone felt so tired untill reach UMP about 6 pm.
For me,this camping give a lot of memories that i will never ever forget whole my life.I really hope there is a chance for me to join this adventure activity..
so,thank you all of for reading.

hello and good evening to my beloved lecturer, miss marziah and all my friends.First of all,i would like say congratulation to my friend, ismat as a champion in the'minute to fame'competition that was held on last saturday.
Looking all the contestants's performance in first round, honestly i think ismat will get a first runner especially when a chinese student,Ma Long, showed a magics using card.In the first round,he gave amazing magic and could attract audiences very well included miss Marziah and miss Intan.Ismat showed his comedian performance by making himself as a clown.Only him, coloured his face like Meet Uncle Hussain in last AJL.You can imagine how his like because i think he already like clown doesn't matter he coloured his face, because he already a funny friend, always smile and make others laugh. The three other contestants performance singing, playing drum and breakdance.
After all the performance in the first round, they will fight in the final. For individual, all of them aotomatically would perform but for group, only the best five were selected judged by the panels. In final round,Ismatgave a different performance. When he stand on the stage,he could lead very well and tried his best. When he did comedy,i could see most af the audiences enjoyed it and gave a big clap on his.He got the talent as a comedier and he used it very well. So,the end Ismat came as champion an that day, meanwhile he could believe that he will get it.As a friend,i feel so happy and proud of him because he get the strength to perform in front. And on that day also,i interested in one band group called 'study studo'was showed a great performance by singing an umbrella.Their vocalis had a nice voice and other members played the part very well.Yes,they absolutely came the champion.
As a conclusion, i think this competition very good to be held in future because it will create a talented sudents because as we know, the other people say engineering students just focus on engineering. We should give opposite review and show that we also good in everythings as long as siutable for us.Here,i would like to congratulation again to all the contestants for their performance although they are not the winners.Try your best next time.Once again, congatulation to Ismat as the champion, best of luck..

Good day everyone.
Do you like to eat fish?? Do you know that the teenage who regularly wat fish may be doing the brains good? I have read about the article about the teenage boys who eat fish may be doing their brains some good.

Teenage boys who regularly eat fish may be doing their brains some good, a new study suggests. Swedish researchers found that among nearly 5,000 15-year-old boys they surveyed, those who ate fish more than once per week tended to score higher on intelligence tests three years later.
Researchers believe that the omega-3 fats found in fish -- particularly oily fish like salmon, mackerel and, to a lesser extent, albacore tuna -- are important to early brain development and to maintaining healthy brain function throughout life. Past studies have found, for instance, that children whose mothers who ate fish regularly during pregnancy tend to have higher intelligence scores than their peers, and older fish-eaters have been shown to have a lower risk of cognitive impairment.
On average, those who ate fish more than once per week scored higher than those who ate fish less than weekly. This remained true when the researchers accounted for several other factors that influence both children's diets and their intelligence scores -- like parents' education levels and the family's socioeconomic status.

5 Steps to a 5 Stars Body

Sleep! Try to catch 7 to 9 hours each night. This, I know from personal experience, can seem like an unrealistic goal, but the amount of research that supports the connection between shut-eye and health makes me shoot for this star every day.

Exercise! Yes, breaking a sweat can help you lose weight, but it can also curb cravings, help you live longer, reduce stress, undo some of the damage of eating fatty foods—and those are just a few of the benefits. Aim for 30 minutes a day—even a walk counts toward your tally—and give yourself a star each time you fulfill that goal with any one of your favorite workouts.

Eat right! No, you don’t have to count calories. You can eat healthy and have delicious, filling and satisfying meals (snacks, too!). For me, that’s when I opt for yogurt with berries rather than a muffin at breakfast, have a salad with tofu for lunch and choose salmon over steak at dinner, then skip the ice cream pig-out late at night.

Stretch! Limbering up is a way to thank your muscles for all the hard work they do for you each day. It can also help you increase your overall range of motion, making exercise seem less difficult.

Talk yourself up! This might be the most important part of the five-star plan: Giving yourself a well-deserved pat on the back for simply being strong, smart and healthy.

hye my lovely teacher..

today i want to share with my friends how to set up a hookah(shisha)

Hookah Setup Guide
Step 1. Place hookah stem (with vase gasket) into the glass vase. The fitting should be airtight.

Step 2. Place the metal tray over the top of the hookah stem. Depending on your hookah model, the tray may either fit loosely or snap into place. Some smaller hookahs come with affixed trays.

Step 3. Insert hose end with hose gasket into hose port on hookah stem.

Step 4. If your hookah model comes with an air release valve, unscrew it to make sure there is a ball bearing inside. Screw the valve back on. The air release valve is usually positioned opposite the hose port on the hookah stem.

Step 5. Check the air flow on your hookah by putting your hand over the top of the hookah stem and sucking in with the hose. There should be little to no air intake. If your hookah model has a check valve, with your hand still on top of the hookah stem, blow through the hose. You should hear air expelled out through the check valve. If the air flow is ok, you are ready to move on to

Step 6. Remove the hookah stem from the vase and fill the vase with water. Put the hookah stem back on vase. The stem should be submerged about an inch into the water.

Step 7. Break up the shisha tobacco as you gently lay it into the clay bowl. You will want to sprinkle it in so that it is loose enough for air to pass through. The shisha tobacco should be filled to the rim of the bowl, but no higher.

Step 8. If you are using a metal screen, place it on top of the bowl. If you are using foil, wrap the foil over the head so that it fits snugly. Make sure to poke holes into the foil so that air can pass through.

Step 9. Place the clay bowl on top of the hookah stem with the bowl gasket in between the hookah stem and the bowl. The clay bowl should fit snugly.

Step 10. Light your coals. If you have instant lighting coals, you can light them with a lighter or match. Other coals will need a stove or a torch. Wait for the coals to become red hot all over before placing them on top of your clay bowl. Break the coals up into smaller pieces and evenly distribute them on your head. Be careful not to add too many coals as your smoke will become harsh.

Step 11. Inhale on your hose. It may take a minute or two before the hookah is smoking properly. Enjoy!

Hi to all... Hope you all are having a nice day...
Hmmmmm... What will firstly strike your mind when you heard about 'Mission Impossible'? Obviously it will be Tom Cruise. Yup.. Today I would like very much to write about Tom Cruise, the popular Hollywood actor.
I liked the movie 'Mission Impossible' very much, then only I started to become a fan of Tom Cruise.

As I searched about him, he had a nightmare of his childhood. Cruise has said that he suffered from abuse as a child. This was partially due to his suffering from dyslexia. Having gone through fifteen schools in twelve years, Cruise, who dropped his father's name at age twelve, was also a victim of bullying at school.
But now, seeing his success and popularity, I really salute him for getting out from his past and become a successful man in this world.

Cruise's first film role came in 1981, when he had a small role in Endless Love, a drama/romance film.
In 2000, Cruise returned as Ethan Hunt in the second installment of the Mission Impossible films, releasing Mission: Impossible II. The film was directed by Hong Kong director John Woo and branded with his Gun fu Style, and it continued the series' blockbuster success at the box office, taking in almost US$546 M in worldwide figures, like its predecessor, being the third highest grossing film of the year.

Cruise was married to Mimi Rogers on May 9, 1987; they divorced on February 4, 1990. Rogers is generally believed to have introduced Cruise to Scientology.

Cruise met Nicole Kidman on the set of their film Days of Thunder. The couple married on December 24, 1990 and divorced on August 8, 2001. He and Kidman adopted two children, Isabella Jane (b. December 22, 1992) and Connor Antony (b. January 17, 1995). They separated when Kidman was three months pregnant, just before their tenth wedding anniversary; she later miscarried.

Cruise was next romantically linked with Penélope Cruz, the lead actress in his film Vanilla Sky. After a three-year relationship, in March 2004, Cruise announced that their relationship had ended in January.

In April 2005, Cruise began dating actress Katie Holmes. Shortly after they began their highly publicized relationship, on June 17, 2005, Cruise announced he had proposed to her at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. She accepted his proposal, and the couple married in Bracciano, Italy on November 18, 2006.

On April 18, 2006 Katie gave birth to a baby girl named Suri at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California. Cruise stated that the name derives from the Hebrew word for "princess" or the Persian word meaning red rose. She is the first child for Holmes and third for Cruise, who has two adopted children with Nicole Kidman.

Hehe... I hope he finally met his soulmate and won't change his spouse again(juast a joke)...
That's all from me now...
BUbye guys...

Hi again all... Now wanted to talk again about another popular human being who is a nobel prize winner winner, Mother Teresa.

Saint Mother Teresa is perhaps the greatest human being who has ever lived in this world. She was beatified by Pope John Paul II in October 2003. She had only one aim in life, to serve the poor, the destitute, the needy and all those who were dejected by the society. Mother Theresa founded an institution, known as 'The Missionary of Charity' to help her in fulfilling this aim.

As per her life history, Mother Teressa was born as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu on 26th August 1910. At the young age of twelve, Agnes started to feel disinterest in the worldly affairs. By the age of eighteen, she was determined to become a nun and left her home to join the Convent of Our Lady of Loreto in Dublin. She undertook the name Teresa in the year 1931 and at the same time, she took her vows.

Mother Theresa came to Calcutta (now Kolkata) in the year 1937 and joined St. Mary's High School. It was here that she fully comprehended her true calling in life, which was to serve the needy and rejected people of the society.

To help her in attaining her goal in life, Mother Theresa wanted to start a diocesan congregation. However, for this she required the permission of the Vatican. The permission came in 1950 and thus was born 'The Missionary of Charity'. In 1965, Mother Teresa was awarded a Decree of Praise by Pope Paul VI and with this, she received the permission to expand her order to other countries. Toda, the Missionaries of Charity boasts of 4,000 nuns and branches in 133 countries of the world.

Mother Teresa was awarded the Noble Peace Prize in the year 1979. She accepted the prize as a representative of the 'poorest of the poor'. Mother Teresa breathed her last on September 5, 1997, leaving behind a legacy of love and sacrifice.

Every time I heard the name of Mother Teressa, it makes me feel that how great is she, when we are even not care about our own friends or relatives, she herself spent her whole life to serve for others especially the poor. A salute for her...

Good day all, now wanted to talk about a local politician, Tun Sambanthan who contributed alot to Malaysia, especially to the Indian community.

Sambanthan Thirunyana s/o Veerasamy, better known as Tun V.T. Sambanthan, was the fifth President of Malaysian Indian Congress and one of the Founding Fathers of Malaysia along with Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tan Cheng Lock. He was the MIC President from 1955 to 1973, when he was ousted by party members.

Sambanthan was one of the leading Indian leaders who played a prominent role in the independence movement in Malaya. As president of the Malayan Indian Congress (MIC) during this important period of transition, he worked closely with Alliance Party leader Tunku Abdul Rahman and they developed a close personal bond.

He is credited with three important developments in Malaysian political history: the consolidation of the Malayan (now Malaysian) Indian Congress, its transformation into a mass-based party, and its integral role as a partner in the current ruling alliance.

The entry of the MIC into the multi-communal Alliance in 1955 contributed greatly to enhancing the coalition’s image as the main representative of the three main communities in Malaya.

The finest hour was achieved on August 31, 1957 when Independence was achieved under the Merdeka Agreement, to which Sambanthan was a signatory.

His father, M.S. Veerasamy, came to Malaya in the 1890s, was a pioneer rubber planter in Sungai Siput, Perak and owned several rubber plantations.

In his own way, Sambanthan instituted some reforms among Indian plantation workers. For example, he promoted education and thrift among Indian workers, lobbied for the introduction of English language instruction in Tamil schools in Perak and for the transformation of the South Indian Immigration Labour Fund into an education fund for the children of plantation workers.

The greatest challenge that MIC faced during his presidency was the fragmentation of estates, the livelihood of almost all Indian workers. In a bid to help the fragmentation, the party sponsored cooperative efforts to acquire estates and prevent displacement of the workers.

In 1960 Tun V.T. Sambanthan touted the idea of a social co-operative to help plantation workers during the British land sell off. Tun Sambanthan and K. R. Somasundram worked closely to purchase their first estate at Bukit Sidim in that same year. The co-operative was later called National Land and Finance Co-operative Society (NLFCS).

He toured rubber plantations to persuade workers to buy shares in the cooperative; a worker with a registration fee of $2 and a share costing $100 (payable in instalments) could buy a stake in a plantation.

At the time of his death in 1979, the cooperative had bought over 18 estates, totalling 120 km² and had a membership of 85,000 workers. The Malayan Plantation Agencies administered the estates on behalf of the cooperative.

His wife, Toh Puan Umasundari Sambanthan served as chairman and director of the National Land Finance Co- operative Society (NLFC) from 1980 to 1995 and its president in 1995 and 1996.

A big salute to Tun Sambanthan for being a back bone for the development of Indian community's economy in Malaysia. Thank you Sir.

Hey guys and girls... Now there is another celebrity who is a bit out of scandals, Michael Owen, striker of England football team. I am not so much into footballs. But, I do watch football worldcup. Then only I noticed that there is a handsome guy playing football awesomely. Not to say because he is handsome, but he is really a very talented football player.

Michael James Owen (born 14 December 1979) is an English football forward who currently plays for and captains English Premier League club Newcastle United. He is currently the fourth-highest scorer for the England national team with forty goals.

The son of former footballer Terry Owen, he progressed through the Liverpool youth team and scored on his debut in May 1997. In his first full season in the Premier League he finished as joint top scorer. He repeated the feat the following year and was Liverpool's top goal scorer from 1997–2004, in spite of a recurring hamstring injury. His first major club honours came in 2001 when Liverpool won a cup treble of the UEFA Cup, FA Cup and Football League Cup, and Owen was the recipient of the Ballon d'Or that year.

Owen moved to Real Madrid for £8 million in mid-2004 but was frequently used as a substitute. In spite of this, he scored 13 goals in La Liga and had the season's highest ratio of goals scored to number of minutes played. He returned to England the following season, joining Newcastle United for £16 million. He had a promising start to the 2005–06 season but injuries largely ruled him out over the next 18 months. After his return he became team captain and was the team's top scorer for the 2007–08 season.

Internationally, Owen first played for the senior England team in 1998, becoming England's youngest player and youngest goalscorer at the time. His performance at the 1998 World Cup brought him to national and international prominence and he went on to appear, and score, in Euro 2000, the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004. He is the only player to ever have scored in four major tournaments for England. He played at the 2006 World Cup but suffered an injury which took him a year to recover from. Occasionally playing as captain, he is England's seventh most-capped player and has scored a national record of 26 competitive goals.

Owen met English-born Louise Bonsall at primary school in 1984.[66] The couple bought Lower Soughton Manor in Flintshire, North Wales where Owen keeps his cars and Louise keeps her horses. They got engaged on 14 February 2004, and married on 24 June 2005[67], at the Carden Park Hotel in Chester, Cheshire. On 1 May 2003 their daughter, Gemma Rose, was born. On 6 February 2006, they welcomed a son named James Michael. Their third child, a daughter, Emily May, was born 29 October 2007.

Hopefully, Owen will achieve more success in his life and live a happy life with his lovely family.
Salute to him also for being such an entertainer for football fans and also for having such an incredible talent in playing football.

That's all guys... Bubye

Hey guys and girls, hope you all had a nice day... Now wanted to share about skyscrappers with you all. My 1st choice will be certainly the Petronas Twin Towers.

The Petronas Twin Towers were the tallest buildings in the world until Taipei 101, as measured to the top of their structural components (spires, but not antennas), took over the record.

The Sears Tower and the World Trade Center towers were each constructed with 110 occupied floors – 22 more than the Petronas Twin Towers’ 88 floors. The Sears Tower and the World Trade Center’s roofs and highest occupied floors substantially exceeded the height of the roof and highest floors of the Petronas Twin Towers. Therefore, the Petronas Twin Towers exceed the official height of the Sears Tower by 10m, but the Sears Tower has more floors with occupied office space at a higher level.

Designed by Argentine-American architect César Pelli, the Petronas Towers were completed in 1998 and became the tallest buildings in the world on the date of completion. They were built on the site of Kuala Lumpur's race track. Because of the depth of the bedrock, the buildings were built on the world's deepest foundations. The 120-meter foundations were built by Bachy Soletanche, and required massive amounts of concrete.

The 88-floor towers are constructed largely of reinforced concrete, with a steel and glass facade designed to resemble motifs found in Islamic art, a reflection of Malaysia's Muslim religion.

Below the twin towers is Suria KLCC, a shopping mall, and Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, the home of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tower One is fully occupied by the Petronas Company and a number of its subsidiaries and associate companies. The office spaces in Tower Two are mostly available for lease to other companies. A number of companies have offices in Tower Two, including Accenture, Al Jazeera English, Carigali Hess Bloomberg, Boeing, IBM, Khazanah Nasional Berhad, McKinsey & Co, TCS, Krawler Networks, Microsoft, The Agency(A modeling company) and Reuters.

The towers feature a skybridge between the two towers on 41st and 42nd floors, which is the highest 2-story bridge in the world. The bridge is 170m above the ground and 58 m long, weighing 750 tons. The same floor is also known as the podium, since visitors desiring to go to higher levels have to change elevators here. The skybridge is open to all visitors, but free passes (limited to 1700 people per day) must be obtained on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are only allowed on the 41st floor as the 42nd floor can only be used by the tenants of the building.

Ok guys, that's all from me now... BUBYE...

Hai...i read an article that make me interest to share with you guys.
In that article, it tell us how to maintaining your resolution that have been made before this.
Firstly, don’t be a perfectionist. While we always want to improve ourselves, it is better for you to look at your accomplishments positively rather than focusing on any shortcomings. For example, if you exercised twice a week instead of three times, remember that it is better than having not exercised at all.
Then, learn from your mistakes. Setbacks and mistakes are opportunities for learning. Ask yourself what kept you from accomplishing your goals, then adjust them back.
After that, keep your resolution realistic. Don’t set unachievable goals for yourself. Create bite-sized tasks that you’ll be able to accomplish little by little. Instead of vowing to read one book a week, cut it down to one a month. Don’t overwhelm yourself with seemingly insurmountable tasks.
Tell a close, trusted buddy about them. It helps to share your goals with friends and the more people to whom you announce your resolution, the more people there’ll be to nudge you along. There’s no shame in seeking help if you can’t complete your resolution on your own.
Lastly, make them meaningful. Your goal should be something you really want to change or attain, not something that family members or friends are pushing you to do. If you don’t have that strong will and motivation in you to start with, you are more likely to fail.
So,hope you can kick-start from now and achieve your goals guys..see ya..

Gardening Hazards
What’s the dirt on health risks in the garden?
Do you like gardening? Gardening may not be a full-contact sport, but anyone who has tiptoed through the tulips is familiar with some of the minor hazards. The most common are the easiest to avoid, so: Use sunscreen, wear a good pair of gloves to avoid minor cuts and scrapes, and cover your arms and legs with long clothing when insect bites or rash-causing plants such as poison ivy may be a concern. People with knee, hip, or back problems must know their own limitations before pulling up stubborn roots or shoveling a wheelbarrow full of stones.
Sometimes dirt is more than dirty. The bacteria that causes tetanus (aka lockjaw) is commonly found in soil and manure, and can easily make its way into your system through a cut on your hand. Constant gardeners should be sure their tetanus vaccine is up to date—a booster is required about every 10 years—and cover any open wounds.

Manure is a great fertilizer, but it’s still manure. Even more dangerous than tetanus, though far more rare, is the possibility of a deadly pathogen traveling in consumer-grade fertilizer. Over the years there have been a few isolated cases of E. coli contamination traced back to a home garden fertilized with manure.

When you eat what you grow, you reap what you sow. Like produce from the market, edibles from your garden need to be washed well—especially if they are to be eaten raw. “You need to be cautious if you put any insecticides or fungicides on a plant’s leaves, vegetables, fruit or edible flowers,” says Marilyn Romenesko, staff horticulturist with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. “Also, any chemicals you apply to edible plants should not be ‘systemic’—that is, chemicals that are drawn into a plant’s internal parts. Any chemicals you choose to apply should be ‘surface’ treatments only, and easy to wash off.”

Hello everyone. Today I want to talk about an country- HongKong. Why I choose this as my topic today? It is because HongKong is one of the place I wish to visit in this year. I hope this trip will be my 21 years old birtday present.

Hongkong is a territory located in Southern China in East Asia, bordering the province of Guangdong to the north and facing the South China Sea to the east, west and south. It has a population of 7 million people but only 1,108 km2 (428 sq mi) of land, making it one of the most densely populated areas in the world.

The name Hongkong meaning "fragrant harbour or port".The original "fragrant harbour" was a small inlet between the island of Ap Lei Chau and the south side of Hong Kong Island, now known as Aberdeen Harbour in English, but still called "Heung Gong Tsai" (Little Hong Kong) in Cantonese.

It is not certain why Hong Kong harbour is so named. The reference to fragrance may refer to the harbour waters sweetened by the fresh water esturine influx of the Pearl River.

Renowned for its expansive skyline and natural setting, Hong Kong is one of the world's leading financial capitals, a major business and cultural hub, and maintains a highly developed capitalist economy. Its identity as a cosmopolitan centre where east meets west is reflected in its cuisine, cinema, music and tradition.

Assalamualaikum and good evening miss Marziah....

Sorry for not blogging for a long time, quite busy with some works.

Anyway today I want to share my journey to Perak on Inter X Tour SAE-UMP Chapter. So, this program had done on 20th March until 22nd March 2009. It was held because to exposed us to UTP FSAE (formula SAE) Team and TLDM Lumut armada camp.

We had departed on the night of 20th March on 11pm. I was in the 2nd bus on the journey. My bus was the most havoc bus because we have the indians geng and the 2nd year girls student.

At 12.00 am, we had stopped at Temerloh's R&R for some meal and rest. Some of us had gone for supper including me. I and azlan (my classmate) had eaten some 'keropok' and drinks 100 Plus for our supper. Ismat and Adham (my classmate also) also joined us. Some of our members are eating Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai for their supper. On 1 am, we had started back to our journey to Perak.

About on 4.30 am, we had arrived at Tapah's R&R for meal and self prepared for the tour to UTP. I had a 'pau' and a glass of teh tarik for breakfast. I also take chance to online at there because they have wireless internet connection provided to the users at Tapah's R&R. On 6.45 am, we had started our journey back to UTP.

About on 9 am, I had arrived at UTP. It's very big place and it's my first time visit to UTP. I and all the members are brought to their lecture hall for some welcoming presentation from them. After that, we had some meal that have been prepared by them. Then we had gone for a visit at UTP FSAE Team lab. They had explained to us all about their lab and their ongoing project. It's a speechless experience there. After that, we had our lunch and zohor prayer at UTP also. Then, we had been brought to their mechanical faculty lab for some visit. At one of the lab that we had visited, i had bumped my old friend from matriculation there. Before we leave UTP, we had a photography session with them. About on 5 pm, we leaved UTP and go to our homestay at Bandar Universiti, Tronoh, Perak.

On that night, we had gone to Jaya Jusco Ipoh for our dinner. All of our team had separated searching the best dinner that we want. I had a Nasi Goreng Daging Kicap as my dinner that night. It was a good meal i guess. Then, we back to our homestay and called that a tired but interesting day.

On the next day, we had traveled to Lumut for visiting TLDM Lumut armada camp. We had arrived at that place on 10 am. We had been greeted by two officers from TLDM and we had been brought to a ship named KD Lekir. At that ship, we had been divided into three group for explaining session on that ship. It's a quite interesting tour on that ship. Then, we had been brought to the TLDM gallery. At there, we could see the history about TLDM and many info and things that had been used in TLDM since it's had been started. Assalamualaikum and good evening miss Marziah....

Sorry for not blogging for a long time, quite busy with some works.

Today I want to share with you about my favorite car, Nissan March K10 SuperTurbo. This car was being introduced in 1989, same with my year of birth. It is powered by a engine coded MA09ERT that have twin charged, turbocharger and supercharger. It is a 3 door hatchback car and also came with 5 door hatchback but with a standard MA10S engine.

The engine is the one of a R&D from Nissan. It is a powerful engine in it's class. Powered by twin charged, turbocharged and supercharged system, this engine can consume 110 PS (81 kW) at 6400 rpm. It is a SOHC engine with 939 cc capacity. The maximum torque that this engine can produce is 13.3 kgf·m (130 N·m) at 4800 rpm. The size of this engine is just 705×575×680 mm and it's weight is just about 111 kg only. It also came with either a 3-speed automatic or 5-speed manual gearbox with viscous limited slip differential. No wonder this engine is categorized one of the best in it's class. Besides Nissan March K10 SuperTurbo, Nissan March R also using this engine.

This car came with various color such as white, black, silver, red and others. The body parts also had been upgraded than previous version (standard version) with a new like grill and bumper at the front, side-skirts and tailgate that came with a spoiler and new like of tail lamp. It also came with an option such as air conditioning and electric mirrors. It also has an option for sport rims such as Watanabe RS8 or Enkei RS Evolution or other type of Japanese sport rims.

About it's interiors', it also had been upgraded from the previous version with some add-on such as three-friends meter that consist of a clock, a boost meter for checking the supercharger and turbocharger boost and a volt meter for the car voltage reading. It also have a L.E.D that functions as a signals for the supercharger that had been on or boost up in the engine. The car also came with a sunroof. The fabrics used also had been touch up with a new style compared that the previous version.

So, in a nutshell, i can conclude that this car is a powerful but stylish kind of car that really suits teenagers that like fast car but low in budget. Anyway I also really wanting this car but still don't have enough money for buying this car. Hoping that I can buy this car as soon as possible so my dream can come true.

So, I think that's all from me. Thank you.

Hi guys and girls, good day to all of you...
Now wanted to share with you about another skyscrapper, the world's tallest building Taipei 101.

Description
Companies:
- Architect: C.Y. Lee & Partners
- Contractor: KTRT Joint Venture
- Management: Urban Retail Properties Company

Facts & Description:

- Weight: 705,130 t

- Taipei 101 was opened to the public on December 31, 2004.

- TAIPEI is mnemonic for Technology, Art, Innovation, People, Environment, and Identity. 101 represents the concept of striving for beyond perfection.

- Taipei 101, whose pinnacle reached full height on Oct. 9, 2003, is currently the official world's tallest building in the categories of highest structurally, highest roof, and highest occupied floor. The Sears Tower in Chicago holds the fourth category of overall height.

- The multi-use structure will house retail facilities on Levels 1-4; a fitness center on Levels 5-6; offices on Levels 7-84; restaurants on Levels 86-88; observation decks on Levels 89, 91, and 101; and communication facilities on Levels 92-100.

- There is a station for the Taipei Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) beneath the building awaiting the eventual construction of the Hsinyi line.

- On December 15, 2004, Toshiba installed the world's two fastest elevators. With top speeds of 1010 m/min, observation deck visitors can whiz from Level B1 to 89 in 39 seconds.

- A 900-ton tuned mass damper is installed on the 87th floor to counter earthquakes and typhoons. It will be available for public viewing from the restaurant levels and observation deck.

- The building underwent numerous redesigns due to aviation restrictions imposed by the nearby Taipei Municipal (Sung Shan) Airport before a special variance was granted and the building was constructed to the full original intended height.

History: 1997 - 2003

- Originally Taipei 101 was going to be a 66-floor office tower, a symbol of the new development emerging from Taipei’s financial district.

- A groundbreaking ceremony was held on January 13th, 1998, planners later decided to raise the tower’s height from 66 floors to 101 floors.

- Due to the height change, construction was delayed, the first column was finally constructed in the summer of 2000.

- On March 31st, 2002, five construction workers were killed when a 6.8 earthquake caused two cranes to fall from the 56th floor. Construction was halted and resumed after an inspection. Several fires in the podium occurred during construction as well.

- The roof-level topout ceremony was held on July 1st, 2003.

- During the week of August 10-16, 2003 it overtook the Petronas Towers in structural height, becoming the official world's tallest building. Visual confirmation was unavailable until August 22, however.

- The building formally opened on New Years Eve 2004, Taipei Mayor Ma Ying-jeou and Legislative Speaker Wang Jin-pyng cut the ribbon. Visitors where allowed to the observation decks, concerts where held, and on midnight the tower celebrated with a magnificent firework show.

wow... amazing haan... the technology has improved so high that it is possible now to build a 101 floor building. Quite interesting to know about the building which overtook Petronas Twin Tower.

Hello again. Now wanted to talk about the second tallest building in the world, Shanghai World Financial Center.

Description
• Companies:
- Architects: Kohn Pedersen Fox & East China Architecture and Design Institute.

- Developer: Mori Building Corporation.
- Contractors: China State Construction Engineering Corporation & Shanghai Construction General Company.
- Cost Management: Davis Langdon & Seah International.

Facts & Description:

• The foundation stone was laid on August 27, 1997.

• In the late 90's, the Japanese Mori Building Corporation had a fund shortage caused by the Asian financial crisis, this halted the project after the foundations were completed.

• On February 13, 2003, the Mori Group increased the buildings height to 492 meters and 101 stories from the initial plans for a 460-meter, 94 story building.

• The Shanghai World Financial Center was planned to be the tallest building in the world when it was designed in 1997. The 97 Story building would surpass the spires of the Petronas Towers in Malaysia. When Construction was restarted in 2003, the 508 Meter Taipei 101 in Taiwan was already underway to becoming the World's Tallest Building. Plans where changed but the Tower couldn’t be built any higher than its present height at 492 meters since the already done foundation was meant to support a 460 meter tall building.

• The structure features 3 floors of underground parking, shops and a conference center on floors 1 through 5, offices on floors 7 through 77, a hotel located on floors 79 through 93, and finally observation and exhibition areas on floors 94 through 100.

• To protect the building from fierce winds, the Shanghai World Financial Center holds two tuned mass dampers below its observation floors to reduce the building’s sway during windstorms and earthquakes.

• After the events of September 11th, 2001, the building was redesigned to withstand a disaster such as a plane crash including 12 fireproof refugee areas, and two external elevators.

• The trapezoidal hole atop the Tower was originally a sphere, designs where changed after the Chinese Government made claims in 2005 that the Japanese Funded Building's circular hole was too similar to the rising sun on Japan's Flag.

• The observation bridge atop the building is the highest outdoor observation deck in the world.

• On August 14th, 2007 a few of the upper floors caught on fire during construction, the blaze was put out and nobody was hurt.

• The final steel girder of the building was installed on September 14th, 2007 when the building reached its full height of 492 meters.

• At 480 meters, the Shanghai World Financial Center is the second tallest building in the world as of 2008. It is 16 meters shorter than the 508 meter Taipei 101 in Taiwan, although this is because of the spire atop Taipei 101. Counting by roof height the Shanghai World Financial Center is a full 44 meters taller than Taipei 101.

• Inaugurated on August 28, 2008.

beggy_k said...

As I said before I searched about Fazlur R. Khan. And wow... the news about him makes me to open my mouth and just glaze his picture at once. Because he is such a genius in structural engineering that had been honoured not once but several times. Lets check it out about him...

After completing undergraduate coursework at the Bengal Engineering College, University of Calcutta, Fazlur R. Khan received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dacca in 1951 while placing first in his class. A Fulbright Scholarship and a Pakistani Government Scholarship subsequently enabled him to travel to the United States in 1952 where he pursued advanced studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana. In three short years Khan earned two masters’ degrees — one in structural engineering and one in theoretical and applied mechanics — and a PhD in structural engineering.

He received an Alumni Honor Award from the University of Illinois, Urbana (1972), an Honorary Doctor of Science from Northwestern University (1973), and an Honorary Doctor of Engineering from Lehigh University (1980).

In 1961, Fazlur Khan was made a Participating Associate in Skidmore, Owings & Merrill; in 1966 he became an Associate Partner and in 1970 a General Partner – the only engineer partner at the time.

In 1973 he was honored with the top accolade for an engineer in the United States, election to the National Academy of Engineering.

He was cited five times among "Men Who Served the Best Interests of the Construction Industry" by Engineering News-Record (for 1965, 1968, 1970, 1971, and 1979); and in 1972 he was named "Construction's Man of the Year." He was posthumously honored with the International Award of Merit in Structural Engineering from the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering and a Distinguished Service Award from the AIA Chicago Chapter (both in 1982).

In 1983 the American Institute of Architects recognized Fazlur Khan's contributions with an AIA Institute Honor for Distinguished Achievement.

That same year he was honored with the Aga Khan Award for Architecture "for the Structure of the Hajj Terminal, An Outstanding Contribution to Architecture for Muslims," which was completed over the last years of his life.

The Structural Engineers Association of Illinois recognized his achievements with the John Parmer Award in 1987. The SEAOI also commissioned a sculpture in Fazlur Khan’s honor by the Spanish artist Carlos Marinas. The sculpture is located in the lobby of the Sears Tower.

In 1998 the city of Chicago named the intersection of Jackson and Franklin Streets (located at the foot of the Sears Tower) “Fazlur R. Khan Way.”

Other honors include:
-Chicagoan of the Year in Architecture and Engineering, Chicago Junior Chamber of Commerce (1970);
-Special Citation Award, American Institute of Steel Construction (1971);
-Wason Medal for the most meritorious paper, American Concrete Institute (1971);
-Thomas A. Middlebrooks Award, -American Society of Civil Engineers (1972);
-Chicago Civil Engineer of the Year, Illinois Section, ASCE (1972);
-J. Lloyd Kimbrough Medal, American Institute of Steel Construction (1973);
-Khan was only the fifth recipient of AISC's highest tribute to professional achievement in the award's 35-year history;
-Alfred E. Lindau Award, American Concrete Institute (1973) "for outstanding contributions in advancing the art of reinforced concrete construction in high buildings";
-Oscar Faber Medal, Institution of Structural Engineers, London (1973);
-State Service Award, Illinois Council, American Institute of Architects;
-Ernest E. Howard Award, American Society of Civil Engineers (1977);
-G. Brooks Earnest Award, American Society of Civil Engineers, Cleveland Section.
-Illinois Engineering Hall of Fame, Illinois Engineering Council (2006)

wowwwwwww..... Isn't this what you also are saying now...

Hmmmmmmmmm.... A salute to this engineer genius...

Hi guys, a month ago I watched a movie,'Slumdog Millionaire'. It was really nice to see a different kind of story revolving slums of Mumbai. A salute to the directors, Danny Boyle and Loveleen Tandan.
Another salute to the writters, Simon Beaufoy (screenplay) and
Vikas Swarup (novel). This movie won 8 Oscars. Another 75 wins & 26 nominations.
The story started when an eighteen year old Jamal Malik is having an amazing answering streak on the Indian version of the television game show, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire". He's only one correct question away from the big prize. However, some, including those associated with the game show, question how someone like Jamal, a self confessed non-genius who grew up in the slums of Mumbai, can be doing so well on the show when others who are brighter, more educated and wealthier than him have failed. Is Jamal cheating? Is it purely luck that they have asked him the questions to which he knows the answers? Seeing Jamal's life journey to this point ultimately answers these questions. His life journey includes being orphaned at an early age; growing up with an older brother, Salim, who was both his guardian/protector and antagonist; and having a relationship since childhood with another orphaned child, a girl named Latika. His motivation for being on the show also may provide some answers to his success. Perhaps it was all just meant to be.
Hmmmm.... Perhaps you all should see the movie also which won 8 oscar awards.

Hi guys, wanted to talk about a Hollywood director now.
Manoj Nelliyattu Shyamalan ; born 6 August 1970 in India but raised in the posh suburban Penn Valley area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, M. Night Shyamalan is the son of two doctors. His passion for filmmaking began when he was given a Super-8 camera at age eight, and even at that young age began to model his career on that of his idol, Steven Spielberg. His first film, Praying with Anger (1992), was based somewhat on his own trip back to visit the India of his birth. He raised all the funds for this project, in addition to directing, producing and starring in it. Wide Awake (1998), his second film, he wrote and directed, and shot it in the Philadelphia-area Catholic school he once attended--even though his family was of a different religion, they sent him to that school because of its strict discipline.

M. Night Shyamalan, is a two-time Academy Award nominated Indian-born American filmmaker and script writer of major studio films, known for making movies with contemporary supernatural plots that usually climax with a twist ending. He is also known for filming his movies (and staging his plots) in and around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Shyamalan released his first film, Praying with Anger, in 1992 while he was a New York University student. His second movie, the major feature film Wide Awake, made in 1995 but not released until three years later, failed to find financial success. Shyamalan gained international recognition when he wrote and directed 1999's The Sixth Sense, which was nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. He followed The Sixth Sense by writing and directing Unbreakable, released in 2000, which received mixed reviews. His 2002 film Signs, where he also played Ray Reddy, gained both critical and financial success, but The Village (2004) was a critical disappointment whose box office fell hard after a strong opening weekend, and Lady in the Water (2006) performed even worse. His latest film, The Happening (2008), did financially better than his previous effort but was also panned by critics; in its entire American run, it grossed only slightly more than Signs made its opening weekend.

One of his quote of that I liked the most is 'My hope is we broke so many rules we created a new rule'. HIHIHI...
Ok that's all guys. BUBYE..

The Penang Bridge, a pride of Malaysia. I wanted to talk about that for now.

The Bridge was built by the Government at a total cost of RM800 million (excluding the cost of land acquisition). With 3 interchanges, the 13.5 km Penang Bridge of which 8.4 km is above water was officially open to public on 14 September 1985. It has 533 spans of which 192 spans for the Bridge is above water.

Constructed with a 6.2 km dual carriageway and 2.2 km three lanes at the Main span, this Bridge is the only physical link between the Mainland of Peninsular Malaysia and Penang Island. Seen from the Penang Island interchange, the channel crossing consists of elevated bridge structures known as "Cable Stayed Concrete Girders". Being famous landmark in the country, Penang Bridge has contributed significantly to the development of Penang both as a tourist and industrial centre.

Its distinctive design and features saw the Penang Bridge won awards. In 1986, it has won the Grand Award in the United States of America Engineering Excellence Competition sponsored by the Council of Consulting Engineers, Washington. In 1993, it won the FIABCI Special Award (Development and Construction Phase Category) from the International Real Estate Federation of Malaysia.

Ideas & initiated by the late Tun Abdul Razak, the 2nd Prime Minister of Malaysia in 1960s

The Bridge was planned during the term of 3rd Prime Minister, Tun Hussein Onn in 1970s.

Built during the 4th Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad in the 1980s and finally opened to traffic in 14 Sept. 1985.

Year Built : 1982

Year Completed : 1985

Project Duration : 3¾ Years

Bridge Design Name : Cable Stay Concrete Girder

TELL ME MORE

Good day everyone. Today I want to talk about one of our assessment which is a software program named Tell Me More. I felt released because I had finished the assessment on Wednesday and no need to come to the extra class on Friday morning.

In my view, ‘Tell Me More’ is useful software that helps students improve their English language proficiency. In this assessment, we need to complete the given task by the lecturer. The given task included grammar, sentences structure and speaking. Personally, I prefer to do the speaking part, where we need to ask and answer the question from the video. This is very interesting because I felt like I am in that situation and converse with the other. Besides, this activity can improve my English pronunciation.

Next, I want to talk about the grammar practice in Tell Me More. I am still remembered we have to type a short paragraph so that we need to change the tense use at the original paragraph. This is a nightmare for me. I was exhausted after doing that activity. I used a lot of time in doing that. However, I gain more knowledge after this activity. Present perfect tense, simple future tense, past perfect tense, simple present tense, simple past tense are now in my finger nails. (Joke)

Lastly, I wish we can do more exercise in this software. I believe that after we did all the exercise in Tell Me More, students will have a good improvement in English language. That’s all. Thank You.

Invention

What is invention? You may answer it as a new creativity. According to the explanation in wikipedia, it means an invention is the creation of a new configuration, composition of matter, device or process.

Product invention is one of the major assessments in subject Technical Writing. Each group consist 4-5 members and required to invent a technical product before week 14. For my group, our invention is 360 Degree Multifunction Shoes Rack. The purpose of this invention is to keep more shoes in the shoes rack and the challenge the normal shape of the shoes rack.

I went to wood factory in Gambang to buy the material such as wood with my member on Wednesday. We cost around RM50 on that day. (Included the petrol fees, car rental and materials) The next day, I was asked from my members to borrow the equipment such as hammer and saws at the mechanical laboratory. The procedure of borrow the equipment is very troublesome. First, we need to find the instructor in charge to get the form. After we fill in the form, we have to find the lecturer who support in our project. Next, we have to find the instructor who in charge the store and get the equipment from him. I wasted about 2 hours to borrow these equipments. I am exhausted after that because I have to walk around the laboratory and school to find the instructor and lecturer.

However, I had done my job. Next, my group members will produce the product invention. I sincerely hope that they will finish it as soon as possible. Hopefully my group member will see this comment at here. PLEASE FINISH IT AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!

Gautama Buddha

Hello again, I wish to share again the Gautama Buddha to everyone. I believe that some of you are know about the origin of the Buddha because we had discussed it on or TITAS class. Now, I will share my knowledge at here again.

The name of Gautama Buddha was Siddhartha Gautama. He was born in Lumbini, Nepal and he was the son of King Suddhodana. His mother was dead after one week she born Siddhartha. After he was born, the hermit announced that the child would either become a great king or a Buddha. The King Suddhodana wished his son to continue his throne and gave he the luxury life in the palaces.

Siddhartha, destined to a luxurious life as a prince, had three palaces (for seasonal occupation) especially built for him. As the boy reached the age of 16, his father arranged his marriage to Yaśodharā (Pāli: Yasodharā), a cousin of the same age. According to the traditional account, in time, she gave birth to a son, Rahula. Siddhartha spent 29 years as a Prince Although his father ensured that Siddhartha was provided with everything he could want or need, Siddhartha felt that material wealth was not the ultimate goal of life.
At the age of 29, Siddhartha escaped hid palace, leaving behind this royal life to become a mendicant. Siddhartha left Rajagaha and practised under two hermit teachers. He then became a student of Udaka Ramaputta (Skr. Udraka Rāmaputra), but although he achieved high levels of meditative consciousness and was asked to succeed Ramaputta, he was still not satisfied with his path, and moved on. ried to find enlightenment through near total deprivation of worldly goods, including food, practising self-mortification. After nearly starving himself to death by restricting his food intake to around a leaf or nut per day, he collapsed in a river while bathing and almost drowned. Siddhartha began to reconsider his path.
Then, sitting under a pipal tree, now known as the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, India, he vowed never to arise until he had found the Truth. After 49 days meditating, at the age of 35, he attained Enlightenment. Gautama, from then on, was known as the Buddha.

At the age of 80, the Buddha announced that he would soon reach Parinirvana or the final deathless state abandoning the earthly body.

Petronas Twin Tower

Hello again, I watch a documentary about Petronas Twin Tower last 3 weeks. The documentary was given by Ismat. The Petronas Twin Towers were the tallest buildings in the world until Taipei 101, as measured to the top of their structural components (spires, but not antennas), took over the record.
It was designed by Argentine-American architect César Pelli, the Petronas Towers were completed in 1988. They were built on the site of Kuala Lumpur’s race track. Because of the depth of the bedrock, the buildings were built on the world’s deepest foundations. The 88-floor towers are constructed largely of reinforced concrete, with a steel and glass façade designed to resemble motifs found in Islamic art, a reflection of Malaysia’s Muslim religion.
Due to a lack of steel and the huge cost of importing steel, the towers were construced on a cheaper radical design of super-strength reinforced concrete. High-strength concrete is a material familiar to Asian contractors and twice as effective as steel in sway reduction. However, it makes the building twice as heavy on its foundation than a comparable steel building. The towers use a sophisticated structural system that accommodates its slender profile and provides from 1300 to 2000 square metres of columns-free office space per floor. Below the twin towers is Suria KLCC, a shopping mall, and Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, the home of the Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra.
Tower One is fully occupied by the Petronas Company and a number of its subsidiaries and associate companies. The office spaces in Tower Two are mostly available for lease to other companies. A number of companies have offices in Tower Two, including Accenture, AL Jazeera English, Carigali Hess Bloomberg, Boeing, IBM, Khazanah Nasional Berhad, McKinsey & Co, TCS, and so on. Below are the information about the towers.

Hello everybody....

This comment are my first comment this blog....
This time I want to share to all of you about something that is not popular in our country...
It is a method used to create electricity. It called wind power...

Wind power is create by windmill.Windmills have been used for well over 1000 years, mostly for pumping water or grinding grain. The first wind electricity generator was built in Denmark in the 1890s. In the 1920s a Frenchman, George s Darreius, invented a wind turbine with three tall, curved blades looking like a giant eggbeater; it could catch the wind from any direction.
Most modern wind generators use huge two or three blades propeller. up to 65m (213ft) across. They are computer-controlled to keep them facing the wind and to adjust the pitch(blade angle) according to the wind strength. They are usually grouped in wind farms on windy ridges or coast or offshore. The two biggest wind farm-with about 5000 turbines each-are in California.

I type this comment to remind all of you how this method can save cost and it also poolution-free.I need you to think by ur self...
thanks.

But this time i want to tell about 'biomass' energy.

Biomass consist of any renewable organic material-living or recently living plants and animals, their products and wastes, ranging from straw and paper to sugar manure.
extracting energy from biomass is ecologically sound so long as the biomass is renewed. For example, by growing at least as many trees as are burn as fuel.It has been estimated that biomass methods could meet the world's entire energy needs.

Thats all about biomass I can tell...
so is up to all of you to think about saving our world.

Hi, eveyone. Today I want to talk about friendship day. I believe that everyone from us needs friends as much as we need our family. However, do we really appreciate the friendship tied among us? Some people are very loyal to their friends, whether his or her friends are in need. They will do anything for their own goodness even by keeping the secrets among them. This kind of friend can be categorized as true friend and can be our best friend.

One of the ways to appreciate our friendship with them is by celebrating Friendship Day. Only a few of us do celebrate this day because we do not notice when the day it is.

Actually, Friendship Day celebrations take place on the first Sunday of August every year. The tradition of dedicating a day in honour of friends began in US in 1935. Gradually the festival gained popularity and today Friendship Day is celebrated in large number of countries including India. On this day people spend time with their friends and express love for them. Exchange of Friendship Day Gifts like flowers, cards and wrist bands is a popular tradition of this occasion.I think that's all my knowledge on friendship day. Thanks.

hello miss marziah..
and of course all my friends..
today i want to share to you all about perfume..

The word perfume used today derives from the Latin "per fumum", meaning through smoke. Perfumery, or the art of making perfumes, began in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt and was further refined by the Romans and Persians. Although perfume and perfumery also existed in India, much of its fragrances are incense based. The earliest distillation of Attar was mentioned in the Hindu Ayurvedic text Charaka Samhita. The Harshacharita, written in 7th century A.D. in Northern India mentions use of fragrant agarwood oil.

The world's first recorded chemist is considered to be a woman named Tapputi, a perfume maker who was mentioned in a cuneiform tablet from the second millennium BC in Mesopotamia. She distilled flowers, oil, and calamus with other aromatics then filtered and put them back in the still several times.

Recently, archaeologists have uncovered what are believed to be the world's oldest perfumes in Pyrgos, Cyprus. The perfumes date back more than 4,000 years. The perfumes were discovered in an ancient perfumery. At least 60 stills, mixing bowls, funnels and perfume bottles were found in the 43,000-square-foot (4,000 m2) factory. In ancient times people used herbs and spices, like almond, coriander, myrtle, conifer resin, bergamot, as well as flowers.

The Arabian chemist, Al-Kindi (Alkindus), wrote in the 9th century a book on perfumes which he named Book of the Chemistry of Perfume and Distillations. It contained more than a hundred recipes for fragrant oils, salves, aromatic waters and substitutes or imitations of costly drugs. The book also described 107 methods and recipes for perfume-making, and even the perfume making equipment, like the alembic, still bears its Arabic name.

The Persian Muslim doctor and chemist Avicenna (also known as Ibn Sina) introduced the process of extracting oils from flowers by means of distillation, the procedure most commonly used today. He first experimented with the rose. Until his discovery, liquid perfumes were mixtures of oil and crushed herbs or petals, which made a strong blend. Rose water was more delicate, and immediately became popular. Both of the raw ingredients and distillation technology significantly influenced western perfumery and scientific developments, particularly chemistry.

Knowledge of perfumery came to Europe as early as the 14th century due partially to the spread of Islam. But it was the Hungarians who ultimately introduced the first modern perfume. Made of scented oils blended in an alcohol solution, the first modern perfume was made in 1370 at the command of Queen Elizabeth of Hungary and was known throughout Europe as Hungary Water. The art of perfumery prospered in Renaissance Italy, and in the 16th century, Italian refinements were taken to France by Catherine de' Medici's personal perfumer, Rene le Florentin. His laboratory was connected with her apartments by a secret passageway, so that no formulas could be stolen en route. France quickly became the European center of perfume and cosmetic manufacture. Cultivation of flowers for their perfume essence, which had begun in the 14th century, grew into a major industry in the south of France. During the Renaissance period, perfumes were used primarily by the wealthy to mask body odors resulting from infrequent bathing. Partly due to this patronage, the western perfumery industry was created. By the 18th century, aromatic plants were being grown in the Grasse region of France to provide the growing perfume industry with raw materials. Even today, France remains the centre of the European perfume design and trade.

That's all I wanted to share about perfume. Thanks for reading..

Here, i want to share about auto repair of cars..
Nevertheless, for more serious problems, auto repair is definitely a must. I know some people who do automotive engine repair on their own, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you really know what you are doing. Today's cars are more sophisticated and complex than ever, and it takes a quality automotive technician to really diagnose and fix the problem. Don't get me wrong – if you have someone there to help you who knows what they are doing, you can probably get enough help to work your way through. Nonetheless, if you are even the slightest bit unsure of your abilities, you should probably leave the auto repairs to the expert.

One of the best compromises is to let your mechanic diagnose the problem, then go and repair it yourself. One of the biggest dangers with trying to perform your own auto repair is not knowing what the problem is. Amateur mechanics can jump to conclusions and miss out on the whole issue at hand. This can cause all kinds of problems, and will usually lose you more money than you can gain by not hiring a mechanic. If you have your mechanic figure out what is wrong, however, you can still save a lot of money on labor costs by doing the job yourself. It doesn't make sense for everyone, but for some people it really does.

hI...do you know about Modest Wedding Dresses?hehe... if not,i will tell you,if yes,i will tell also, haha...
Most of the wedding gowns these days are either backless or sleeveless. Its not too show some skin or because it is too hot to wear. It’s just a fashion trend but given that getting married in a church is a solemn affair unlike going to a night club, there are those who consider wearing a modest wedding dress instead.
What is a modest wedding dress? By definition, it is something you can wear that is neither short nor strapless. This means you don’t see the back, the legs or the shoulders.
Does this means that what you are wearing a shapeless outfit? Certainly not, because there are styles available that are well fitted that will still show your natural beauty.
So, where should you look for a modest wedding dress? The best place these days to find a modest wedding dress is the web. This is because a few designers have decided to set up their own websites in order to reach the target market. Three examples of these are beautifullymodest.com, latterdaybride.com and totallymodest.com.
They have wedding dresses not only for the bride but the bridesmaids as well. You can also check out their collections for a day dress, a prom or a semi formal affair and looking at the pictures and finding something you like, you just have to pick the right size and then add this to the basket so this can be shipped and delivered in a few days.
If you are not sure about the quality of the modest wedding dresses that the online retailer is selling, see if there are testimonials from previous buyers. If ever the site was referred to you by a friend, it has to count for something.
You should know right now that most modest wedding dresses fetch from $300 to $1,000. If this is way beyond your budget, look inside your closet and then with a little magic, turn one of your outfits into a modest wedding dress. Naturally, there will be some alternations that the seamstress can do at a reasonable price. Two areas that you can request the seamstress to do are to either add longer sleeves or to raise the neckline.
The cheaper way of doing it is to do the alteration yourself but that is only if you know how to sew. But if you think that altering your dress isn’t practical then the other alternative will be to cover up your shoulder with a shawl. This is made from various materials like satin or silk which looks very fashionable.
The last option is to create your own. This is because you can save a great deal of money instead of buying it from a store. You can get ideas by looking at the designs featured in the online stores or by browsing at some magazines. If you are not that skillful, just buy the fabric and have someone else do it.
It isn’t everyday that you walk down the aisle, say your vows and live the rest of your life with that special someone as husband and wife. If you want to look elegant on that special day, go and get a modest wedding dress. Go online, make it yourself or do some alternations. In the end, that is your prerogative.
haha...enjoy it..

Hi..salam miss…Here, I want to share about Alternative Health and You..
Alternative medicine has long been used to treat a variety of conditions from psoriasis to dysentery. Today the amount of holistic therapies is staggering, and not all of it created equal, which is why it’s so important to keep up to date on the latest happenings in this rapidly growing field. The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) is a part of the US National Institutes of Health, located online at www.nccam.nih.gov , which is undertaking research, training, and dissemination of data to the public and professionals regarding the most popular health topics. This is a comprehensive site that discusses at length what consumers should know about the latest in alternative health claims, and other consumer concerns and issues. Check out current clinical trials, research funding opportunities, and the continuing education series for all alternative health professionals.
From Natural Solutions at www.alternativemedicine.com find complementary and alternative health medicine information about common health conditions, including natural remedies, holistic healthcare, healing foods, as well as healthy solutions and practical strategies for self-care and prevention. A popular topic for this time of year is seasonal affective disorder or SAD, which results from shorter winter days and less sunlight. Decreased energy levels are a common complaint that can be reversed simply by tanning or light therapy for twenty minutes every morning, eating more protein and omega-3, and by squeezing in any type of outdoor exercise whenever possible to boost serotonin levels from the natural sunlight. In extreme cases it may even be worth relocating to a sunnier locale to avoid the winter blues altogether.
Find true health, and empower yourself to make informed nutritional decisions, holistically. Health resources with remedies A-Z for your alternative health needs can be found online for information on alternative, ayruvedic, aromatherapy, homeopathic, essential oils, flower remedies, herbs, and more alternative treatments and therapies. Also discover sites devoted to medical systems, practices, and products that are not presently considered to be part of conventional medicine, including sections for spiritual self-healing. It’s important to be knowledgeable about combining alternative medicine, supplements, vitamins, herbs, and nutrition with conventional medicine too, so be sure to advise your health care professional of everything. If you’re not sure where to start, health counseling is available online for your convenience for help to feel better in your body and achieve your ideal weight. This is also a great way to manage and reduce your stress, increase your energy levels, find healthier ways to eat, and take on a truly holistic approach to life.

5 Benefit of Quiting Smoking..haha

One of the biggest benefits is the savings of money. Consider that a one pack a day habit can easily rack up a bill of RM35 a week, RM150 a month and finally RM1,825 in a year. This adds up to an enormous amount that is really hard to play down. It is important to be really honest with yourself about how much your cigarettes are costing you, if you are attempting to slash your budget, quitting smoking can go a very long way towards freeing up a lot of money.

While the money is obviously nice to save, there are huge benefits to your health as well. For example, research tells us that as little as 20 minutes after you stop smoking you will be able to see a difference in your health. If you consider that quitting smoking can help you reduce your risk of heart problems, stroke, high blood pressure, lung cancer, and even breathing complications you have just located a plethora of reasons why smoking really is good to avoid. The research that tells us smoking is bad has proven that just a short period of time after quitting is able to reverse many of the harmful effects that cigarettes have caused, no matter how long you have been a smoker.

For example, if you quit smoking for a period of 5 years, you are no more at risk of a stroke than someone who has been a non-smoker for their entire life. This is huge considering that those who smoke are considered at least twice as likely to suffer a stroke. Additionally, if you quit for 15 years, you can enjoy the same risk of coronary heart disease as a non-smoker as well. While it might seem strange to enjoy the risk for coronary heart disease, it is much better than actually having coronary heart disease. Taking these small victories for your health is important since you will be able to significantly improve your quality of life.

Working to decide which benefits are the most motivation for you is not always easy. You need to look at your lifestyle and determine what truly matters for you. Not everyone is concerned about the health benefits, if you find yourself more concerned with the money then focus on what you can save. If you are more determined to improve your health then focus your efforts on the health benefits that stopping smoking for good can really have for you. Ultimately, the reason you choose to quit smoking is up to you, the way you do it will be based around your particular personality and smoking habits. Knowing what your motivating factors are can go a long way towards boosting willpower though, which is always a helpful benefit no matter why you try to quit.

So,stop smoking smokers..huhu

haa..haaa..ha..haaluuuu..halluu

now,i will talk about smoking again..This time it is about some to all the smokers to stop from smoking..Read carefully...

Most people are readily aware that stopping smoking can improve their health, but learning how to really conquer the urges to smoke is not easy. With so many temptations circulating around, as well as the stresses of daily life it is easy to see why jumping into a pack of cigarettes seems like a good idea.

Tip-1 You need a good reason to quit. Simply deciding to quit because the sky is blue is not a sufficient reason. The need to quit smoking is obvious, but the desire to quit needs to come from inside in order for the process to be successful.

Tip-Look for small rewards that you can give yourself as you make progress. You are not likely to just quit cold turkey with no complications. Set up small rewards that will help you to want to make progress towards ultimately quitting. This can be a great motivation to keep you on target.

Tip-3 Plan out your quitting strategy. Decide how you want to try to quit and stick to it. Set a specific amount of time for your plan. If after a time, say six weeks you have not quit, work on a new plan. This will allow ample time to try each method, while still giving yourself flexibility to try something else.

Tip-Work to overcome your struggles. If you are smoking due to stressful things in your life, you need to deal with the stress before you can successfully quit. Regardless of the reason why you are smoking, it needs to be dealt with in able to quit for good.

Tip-Set up a punishment for yourself. For example, if you generally stop at Starbucks each day for a coffee you might consider skipping that on days when you have fallen short of your goals for smoking. Whatever punishment you select, make sure it is something that you care about.

Tip-Seek out help from your friends and family. You need support as you are trying to quit, and this will help you to ensure that you are not alone in the entire process.

Tip-7 Look for someone to quit with you. If you are entirely on your own, you are going to be much more likely to slip back into smoking. If someone is working with you and holding you accountable, you are more likely to struggle to succeed. Working to quit smoking is not easy, but hard tasks are much easier to accomplish with a partner.

Tip-Ensure you are getting plenty of sleep. The job of quitting smoking is quite difficult. If you are not getting the rest you need, you are much more likely to be cranky, upset and angry with the world. This is very counterproductive to your goal of quitting smoking for good.

Tip-9 Aim to quit for good. This might seem a bit strange, but if you are just planning to quit for a weekend you are not going to put much effort into the process. If you are planning to quit for good, a lot more time and effort is going to go into the process as well as your plan to quit.

Tip-10 Look for ways to take your mind off cigarettes. If you are always thinking about cigarettes, you may find that you are much more tempted to smoke. Reading a book, exercising, talking on the phone, surfing the internet and even cooking are all great ways to occupy your mind and keep from thinking about when your last cigarette was.

How was it??ready to stop smoking??
huhu..

Do you know about tattoo?Nowdays, this painful of art are major in our life..

You've seen these women around. Most likely out in night clubs doing their thing, or possibly working the cosmetic counters at the local shopping mall. They love their make-up. Can't you tell? They never go anywhere without it. It's caked on thick and they may even sleep in the darn stuff. It's completely bizarre, I know! You know you're a little obsessed when you hit the point where you can't allow other humans to see you without your make-up on. Even your spouse and children.

Welcome to the age of cosmetics and tattoos. It's one where they're combined. You shouldn't be surprised if you spot a woman or man in public with a cosmetic tattoo. Maybe they had permanent eye liner drawn on, or possibly some lip liner. Yeah, it sounds painful huh? I for one would never allow someone to tattoo my eyelids or mouth. It's got to be excruciating. But yet some individuals do go for it. I've encountered showgirls with tattooed eyebrows. Now I'm not going to lie, they appeared completely real. I couldn't tell the difference until someone told me. Naturally the cosmetic tattoo eyebrows were perfectly arched. I suppose this is why some folks choose this route. You get the image of something, but without all the hassles.
The art of cosmetic tattoos has been around at least for the past 15 years, and tattoos in general for centuries. Countless women swear by the new-age concept. It offers them a definite convenience in an already hectic and chaotic world. Plucking those eyebrows and drawing on that eyeliner and lip-liner are just a few more things they don't have to worry with. Furthermore, research has shown that this is a rather healthy approach to permanent make-up. The risk of infection is almost zero. So if you're intrigued by the idea of no longer dealing with routine make-up applications, maybe a cosmetic tattoo is exactly what you need. There are plenty of pictures at your constant disposal online.

As the muslim,we must avoid to do such a painful thing to make ourselves look more beautiful.Just be ourself and love it as well as what who we are..thank you

salam Miss Marziah...ermmmm..It's me again

Study..Study....Honestly,i am very bad in doing that..hihi..So,I will share to you about some bad habit in study, that is what I always do that.

If you are in high school or college, you know that you will not get the best grades if you have bad study habits. Unless you are a naturally gifted student, it takes some effort to get the grade point average you need to continue in your academic career. Even if you are gifted, bad habits can hurt your scores.

Of course, the worst of the bad habits of studying is not studying at all. Some people plan to go through school without cracking open a book. It is rare for this to be an adequate response to academia. Most people need to study.

Some people do not go to class. This is another bad habit. The teacher or professor may give you information that if not in any of the literature. To get it, it is best to go to class. You might be able to get it second hand from someone who did go to class, but there is nothing like hearing it for yourself.

Sometimes students go to class, but they go unprepared. Some do not buy the proper literature or lab materials. They try to get by with sharing or looking on others' work. This is a bad habit, as they will not get the personal experience that they would with their own literature and materials.

You can buy the right literature and lab materials, but if you do not have the right equipment and supplies. You will suffer if you do not have the right supplies to go along with it. If you make it a habit to show up without paper, pen, pencil, or even a laptop computer if needed, you will not be able to do your work.

There are certain physical bad habits that make studying harder. Studying without eating is like trying to drive a car without fuel-it does not work very well. Studying without sleep is unproductive. Studying with a hangover is very distracting.

Many students will go to class to be entertained. This seems almost reasonable because many professors have great senses of humor. However serious learning should be taking place as well. If you find yourself not taking notes, you will know you are slipping into bad habits. If you get to class and you have not read the assignment, you will be ill prepared.

Cramming for tests is a time honored tradition. Yet, if you want to retain the material beyond the end of the semester, it is a bad habit to start. Doing daily work will help you to understand the material that is being put into your brain. It will help you assimilate it in a way that will help you to remember it in the long haul.

If you are a motivated student, your bad habits may be just as unproductive, in the short run at least. You may find yourself straying in your research. You find your subjects fascinating, but you find other information interesting as well. Before you know it, you have spent hours on the internet researching something you do not need for your school work at all. It may increase your knowledge overall, but it will not help today.

You can rid yourself of your bad habits when you are studying or preparing to study. Some people choose not to. However, you might find it beneficial.

Hello again…I’d read a book recently. It title is “A Thousand Splendid Suns” by Khaled Hosseini. This book is about mothers and daughters, highlighting the plight of women in Afghanistan through 3 decades of major turmoil, right until the fall of the Taliban. Mariam, the scorned illegitimate daughter of a wealthy businessman, is forced to marry 40-year-old Rasheed at 15. 18 years later, Rasheed takes another wife, 14-year-old orphan Laila, whose only other options are prostitution or starvation. Against a backdrop of unending war, Mariam and Laila unite against Rasheed, whose brutal misogyny is sanctioned by custom and law.

This book is very interesting and makes me think again and again about other people. It is an emotional saga of the intertwining lives of 2 women in Afghanistan. This author, Hosseini is able to convincingly see things from a female’s perspective and recount the daily struggles that they face, making this a heart-rending mix of history lesson and fiction must read. So, I suggest all of you read this book. You can easily find this book at any bookstore in Malaysia. Enjoy it..

Hello everyone..
Is it true that next semester we're going to be studying at Pekan? true or not, it'll be another adventure for us. for this post, i'm going to share to you guys about the royal town of Pekan.

Located on the banks of the Pahang River 50 km south of Kuantan, Pekan is the royal town of the state of Pahang Darul Makmur. The royal town of Pekan get its name from a flower called Bunga Pekan. Pekan is also the name of the district the town in situated in and a parliamentary constituency in its own right. It is the home of the state's royal family headed by Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mu'adzam Shah. It is also the hometown of the second Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Abdul Razak Hussein and the current Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. Najib is also Pekan's current Member of Parliament.

The Masjid Abdullah, which dates from the 1920s and the newer Masjid Abu Bakar is near the Sultan Abu Bakar Museum.

According to the old folk, Pekan derived its name from Bunga Pekan, a type of flower that grows wild at the banks of Pahang River. The river at the Pekan town (near Mengkasar village) is also called Pekan River, however no source claimed Pekan got its name from this river. Based on other source, the name "Pekan" came from the word "Pekan Pahang" (town of Pahang). For easier pronunciation, the locals simply called it "Pekan" and the name still used till now.

Pekan town is said to exist since 17 century. However, there's no exact date about the establishment of Pekan but several Arabs and Chinese writer did mentioned about Pekan then.

The villagers at Kampong Mengkasar, about two kilometers before reaching Pekan from Kuantan, is said to be direct descendants of Tok Tuan from Makassar in Sulawesi, Indonesia. Among the well known figures, Tun Abdul Razak, was known to be recognised as having a Sulawesi heritage.

That's all i want to share with you guys..
hope we'll enjoy our next sem at Pekan..
;))
thanks..

Hello miss..

I trust him or not?

So i want to tell what i dont trust him. Actually, it is quite difficult to discuss about this.
I think when i write down in your blog,he know how much i was complete the emptiness inside of him. Before this i don't trust him
because i remember he only want to enjoy with me.When i'm realise he was seriously,I started to love him.
I also trust him what he talk and do it.Actually he is responsible person n loving person but he willing cheat me.
I'm felt depressed while he lying me.For your information, he tell me, he want to design something with his group but suddenly
I met him with a cute girl not like me in the car.Blurted out, I was crying and said hate him a lot.
For the next day,he came to appologise with me what he has done.I accept him for the second chance.
Hahaha he say he love me a lot. It's still lying or not i dont know.Just wait and see.

But now he show that he love me.So now I trust him but not 100%.So i'll think that i want to do
whether i must trust him or not. It's important because it can help me so that do not do something
that not correct like i must be awake my self respect.

Our conclusion today is we mus don't trust him although he love us.

That's all...

This the article that i read from mail..

Good rest and sound sleep is very
Important... if u don't sleep well,
The toxic in your body will accumulate..
Affecting your health and your mood...

The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are the main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming overly done foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our body to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to 'schedule.'

Because: Evening at 9 - 11pm : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (de-toxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on her health.

Evening at 11pm - 1am : The de-toxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state. Early morning 1 - 3am : de-toxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 3 - 5am : de-toxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the de-toxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am : de-toxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9am : Absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 -10am rather than no meal at all. Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood.

Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late

This real time story is about the cancer caused by handphone.
This morning I heard a sad real story from my colleague. She told me one of her friend always miscarriage when the baby 2-3 months old for few times continuously in few years time. The couple went to check with many doctors and lastly one of the doctor check on the death baby and found out the baby's body cells keeping die when baby growing up until he/she cannot be survived. This is because her uterus has been affected by HANDPHONE radiotion. The doctor told she has no chance to get baby no matter how because the radiotion affected her uterus which the major portion of her uterus cells already death, cannot carry healthy < br> baby. All this because of she has been keeping her handphone in her working jacket which the position just right to the uterus positon for few years time. Please beware and take note the consequences is not worth.

Dearest family members,

Please do not overlook the handphone radiation which will affect our health or body organs. Please put away your handphone when ever you don't need it much .

Guys,

Please do not keep your handphone near to the kidney position and pants pocket as this will hurt and affect your 'production' if you plan to get baby.

The other doctor also advice another
friend to keep away handphone to her new born baby to avoid radiotion to baby's brain and cells. Do not let the baby or toddler play with the handphone for long time. This is because the small young baby or toddler still very fragile and most probably they cannot take the radiotion.

Please remind yourself do not sleep together with your handphone or put next to your bed. Keep away any other electronic goods (such as tv also) which got radiotion away from your bedroom to reduce risk as we have to sleep few hours a day in our bedroom at night. Do not think that you switch off the TV it will be no radiotion actually it is still around in your room just not eyes
visible, even the small alarm clock not to be advised to put just next to your head while sleeping.
So, try to not use handphne often.

This teory i have discovered
for so long. But it a little big sensitive because of 'pigs' words. But now is too many student become what in this teory expected. haha...

Some interesting theories about human and pigs:

Human = eat + sleep + work + enjoy
Pigs = eat + sleep
Hence, Human = Pigs + work + enjoy
if, Human - enjoy = Pigs + work
in other words,
Human that don't know how to enjoy = pigs that work
Men = eat + sleep + earn money
Pigs = eat + sleep
Hence, Men = Pigs + earn money
therefore, Men - earn money = Pigs
in other words,
Men that don't earn money = Pigs

Women = eat + sleep + spend
Pigs = eat + sleep
Hence, Women = Pigs + spend
therefore, Women - spend = Pigs
In other words,
Women that don't spend = Pigs
Summary:
Men earn money not to let women become pigs!
Women spend not to let men become pigs!

Men + Women = 2 Pigs
Wish all the pigs happy forever

Two ways mirror.
It is important to know this especially girls.
I thought it was quite interesting! And I know in about 30 seconds you're going do what I did and find the nearest mirror... Do you know how to determine if a mirror is 2-way or not? This is not to scare you, but to make you aware. A policewoman who travels all over the U.S. and gives seminars and techniques for businesswomen passed this on. When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror (i.e., they can see you, but you can't see them)? There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms. It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by just looking at it. So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at? Just conduct this simple

Test: Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror.. However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, FOR IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR! 'No Space, Leave the Place' So remember, every time you see a Mirror, do the 'fingernail test.' It doesn't cost you anything.

Tre story article. Now got so many different types of criminal. So, learning protect yourselves is the most improtant things in this realtime.
Because of recent abductions
in daylight hours, refresh yourself
of these things to do
in an emergency situation...
This is for you,
and for you to share
with your wife,
your children,
everyone you know.
After reading these ?9 crucial tips ,
forward them to someone you care about.
It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in. ?

1 . ?Tip from Tae Kwon Do :
The elbow ?is the strongest point
on your body.
If you are close enough to use it, ?do! ?

2. ?If a robber asks ? for your wallet and/or purse,
DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM .
Toss it away from you....
chances are ? that he is more interested
in your wallet and/or purse ? than you,
and he will go ? for the wallet/purse.
RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3. ?If you are ever thrown ? into the trunk of a car,
kick out the back tail lights ? and stick your arm out the hole
and start waving like crazy.
The driver won't see you, ? but everybody else will.
This has saved lives.

4. ?Women have a tendency ? to get into their cars
after shopping, eating, working, etc., ? and just sit
(doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc.)
DON'T DO THIS!
The predator ?will be watching you, ?and this
is the perfect opportunity ? for him to get in
on the passenger side, ?put a gun to your head,
and tell you where to go.
AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR,
LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE. ?

If someone
is in the car
with a gun
to your head
DO ? NOT DRIVE ?OFF,
repeat:
DO ? NOT DRIVE ?OFF!
Instead start the engine
and speed into anything, ? wrecking the car.
Your Air Bag will save you.
If the person is ?in the back seat
they will get the worst of it.
As soon as the car crashes
get out and run.
It is better ?than having them ?find your body
in a remote location.

5 . ?A few notes about getting
into your car in a parking lot,
or parking garage:
A.) ?Be aware:
look around you,
look into your car,
at the passenger side floor ? ,
and in the back seat
B.) ?If you are parked next to a big van,
enter your car from the passenger door .
Some serial killers attack their victims
by pulling them into their vans ?while the women
are attempting ?to get into their cars.
C.) ?Look at the car
parked on the driver's side ?of your vehicle,
and the passenger side. ? If a male is sitting alone
in the seat nearest your car, ? you may want to walk back
and get someone -
guard/policeman ? to walk you back out.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)

6. ?ALWAYS ? take the elevator
instead of the stairs.
(Stairwells are horrible places ?to be alone
and the perfect crime spot.
This is especially true at NIGHT!)

7. ?If the predator has a gun
and you are not under his control,
ALWAYS RUN!
The predator will only hit you ? (a running target)
4 in 100 times; ? And even then,
it most likely ? WILL NOT ?be a vital organ.
RUN, ? Preferably in a zig -zag pattern!

8. ?As women, ? we are always trying
to be sympathetic:
STOP
It may get you raped, ? or killed.
Ted Bundy, ? the serial killer, ?was a good-looking,
well educated man, ? who ALWAYS played
on the sympathy of unsuspecting women.
He walked with a cane, ? or a limp, ?and often
asked ? 'for help' ?into his vehicle ?or with his vehicle,
which is when he abducted ?
his next victim.

9. ?Another Safety Point:

Someone just told me ? that her friend heard
a crying baby on her porch ?the night before last,
and she called the police ? because it was late
and she thought it was weird. ? The police told her
'Whatever you do, ? DO NOT
open the door.'
The lady ?then said that ?it sounded like the baby
had crawled near a window, ? and she was worried
that it would crawl ? to the street ?and get run over.
The policeman said, ? 'We already have a unit on the way,
whatever you do, ? DO NOT open the door.'
He told her that they think ?a serial killer
has a baby's cry recorded ? and uses it to coax
women out of their homes ? thinking that someone
dropped off a baby ? He said they have not verified it,
but have had several calls by women saying that
they hear baby's cries ? outside their doors
when they're home alone at night. ?

Please pass this on and DO NOT ?open the door
for a crying baby ----

This story is really touching.

My mother used to ask me what the most important part of the body is.

Through the years I would take a guess at what I thought was the correct Answer.

When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as humans, so I said, 'My ears, Mommy.'

She said, 'No. Many people are deaf. But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon.'

Several years passed before she asked me again. Since making my first attempt, I had contemplated the correct answer.

So this time I told her, 'Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes.'

She looked at me and told me, 'You are learning fast, but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind.'

Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge and over the years,

Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was, 'No. But you are getting smarter every year, my child.'

Then one year, my grandfather died. Everybody was hurt. Everybody was crying. Even my father cried. I remember that especially because it was only the second time I saw him cry.

My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to my Grandfather. She asked me, 'Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear?' I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was a game between her and me...

She saw the confusion on my face and told me, 'This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in your life. For every body part you gave me in the past, I have told you were wrong and I have given you an example why.

But today is the day you need to learn this important lesson.'

She looked down at me as only a mother can. I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, 'My dear, the most important body part is your shoulder.'

I asked, 'Is it because it holds up my head?'

She replied, 'No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it.'

Then and there I knew the most important body part is not a selfish one. It is made for others and not for yourself. It is sympathetic to the pain of others.

People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will NEVER forget how you made them feel.
So, being generous all the time. This shoud be a good practice for all kinds of peole nowadays. Too many cases involve because of selfish among citizens. They lost they most valueable part of body and may not live longer. So, rather be a man of value than become a man of success!!
