The Personality Divide: Getting Better Results with Different Types of People
www.myarticlearchive.com/articles/7/063.htm

Today, my mind comes across about how to handle with different kinds of people that equipped with different type of personalities. This problem is happened frequently while we work with others or stays with others especially for us who stay in hostel. For example, four people that come from different family background, hometown and personalities live together; somehow there will be some of their attitude that we are not used to get use of it. Thus, there will be conflicts among them and lead to communication problem.

In this society, there are many people with different personalities, different attitudes and different temper. Therefore, we will often encounter unnecessary conflicts with each others. There is a good question from this article: “How can different people get along better at work and at home, maximizing the strengths of both?” Who get the answer regarding to this problem? Perhaps quite a number of people are now facing the same problem, like they cannot communicate well with one particular person and they do not know how to deal with that particular person.

How are we going to settle the conflicts or to solve this problem? This article shows the common answer of this question: “Understanding personality differences and communicating with other people based upon their dominant driving forces”. I’m quite agreeing of this statement. In order to get rid of this communication problem, first of all, we need to understand or get to know more about that particular person. It is just like we have to gather enough information before we can handle a problem.

In short, as the solution of this communication problem, we should learn how to communicate effectively and maximize the strengths of these different personalities. Both of these are the key to success teamwork and results in the unity among a society. As long as we can handle well of the relationship with different types of people, we may no longer encounter unnecessary conflicts among them. On the other hand, it can also foster our relationship and thus create a more co-operative society. In this case, co-operative lead to unity and unity is the key to a peaceful and harmony society.

Assalamualaikum and salam sejahtera to everybody…

E01 Chinese students, do you know what is Mailidur Rasul?
Let me share some information based on the celebration of Maulidur Rasul.
Maulidur Rasul celebrations are held every 12th day of Rabiul Awal based on the Islamic calendar. Maulidur Rasul actually is refers to the birthday of Prophet Mohamed s.a.w, the last of the prophets sent to mankind, according to the Muslim holy book of Al-Quran.
Because of this celebration are based on the Hijri calendar, the date of the Maulidur Rasul changes every year under the Gregorian calendar. For this year 2009, 12th Rabiul Awal fell on the 9th of March 2009. Remember my friends, we are not celebrate birthday of Prophet Muhammad by singing the birthday song, but Muslims are reminded of the Prophet’s way of life and the true teachings of Allah as embodied in the Al-Quran, which is for the good of the global community, for all mankind. And in this way also their love for Prophet Mohamed is enhanced.
The celebration will renew and strengthen the faith and kinship of the Muslims in their religion, and to tighten up ukhwah with everyone whether Muslims or non-Muslims. We can see the celebration that was held in our campus today,14 March, where all Muslims and non Muslims come to eat together, clean up the area of mosque and organized too many programmed together. Maulidur Rasul celebration is like the celebration by fellow Christians of Christmas, which is the birthday of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is also one of the revered prophets of Islam actually. Now, I hope everyone know what is Maulidur Rasul and its celebration.

Effect of cold water

Today i read one article about effect of cold water and i want to share it with everyone. After i read this article i realize that cold water can cause a most dangerous disease that is cancer.
Everybody must like to drink cold water,me also particularly when hot day.But we must beware of this habit especially after take a meal. The cold water will solidify the oil stuff that you have just consumed after a meal. This action will slow down the digestion.
When this 'sludge' reacts with acid,it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food.It will line the intestine and when the time come it will turn into fats and lead to cancer.
For my advice to who love his/her health, the best thing to do is drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.Let's be careful and be aware of what we eat and drink everyday because the more we know the better chance we could survive.

Soy and Your Risk of Breast Cancer...

Many cancer doctors tell women who have estrogen-receptor positive breast cancer to avoid eating soybeans. This is because soybeans have a high level of isoflavones (phytoestrogens), which are naturally occurring chemicals that resemble natural estrogen. However in the Asian diet, soybeans are the major source of protein and people who eat a lot of soy actually have a reduced risk of breast cancer. Which is right?

According to the article, researchers at the University of Southern California and the University of Minnesota have looked at 28 different studies of soy intake and its effects on breast cancer risk. Six of those studies focused on people in Asia, while the other 22 took place in Western countries. They found out that the women who ate the most isoflavones (more than 20 milligrams of isoflavones per day) reduced their risk of breast cancer by almost 30 percent! Meanwhile, those women who consumed moderate amount of isoflavones (between 5 and 10 milligrams of isoflavones per day) saw their risk of breast cancer reduced by about 12 percent. Compared to an Asian-style diet, a Western-style diet had a far smaller typical intake of isoflavones of less than 1 milligram per day.

From this article, I think soy plays an important role in reducing the risk of breast cancer. The more isoflavones (in soy products) we consume, the lower the risk of getting a breast cancer. Since breast cancer is among the top killers in our life, we should start changing our diets and eat a lot of soy (or soy products) in order to get rid of this disease. Although breast cancer is commonly happened among the women, there have been also several cases which happened to the men. So guys, be aware too!

FROM ROOTS TO FRUITS

As I read through a book title From Roots To Fruits written by Datuk Dr.Sulaiman Bin Mahbob,i've got many lessons.
The book is all about integrity. The concept of integrity is like a tree. Many Malaysians are not very concern anout integrity.
I'm sure that in E01 section, there are still have student who did not know what is integrity about.

I would like to introduce a little bit about integrity through my reading,
What is integrity? These are examples about integrity.
-In community,we can see the integrity in community if we practice cares, simple as' gotong-royong'.
Each citizens decide to work together.
-In family, integrity visible when good values are modelled and practised. In easy words, every family members are corcern about
each other and supportive.

In my view, integrity in Malaysia is decrasing day by day. These happen because a sinple factor.Bad ethics. When individu
does not take rensposibility,it will contribute to other problem.Let see, what will happen to Malaysia if we have thousands Malaysians who are
selfish and lazy. This will effect the development of the counry.

We as the university students should realize how important integrity for Malaysia.

Let nurture integrity, plant it,water it,give some sun, and prune it..

and controversy"-Martin Luther

PPSMI

PPSMI, is it a solution or a problem??
Assalamualaikum...
Hope everyone is happy and enjoying your life..

Today, I would like to discuss a bit on PPSMI..I have read an article from Tun Dr.Mahathir
in his blogs(http://chedet.co.cc/chedetblog).The article is about his opinion about the issue.
He is agree with the PPSMI.

PPSMI in Malay stands for Pengajaran Pembelajaran Sains & Matematik dalam Bahasa Inggeris,
or in English, teaching Science & Mathematics using the English language..
This has started by stages since 2003 and is still a practice in schools in Malaysia..
Since then, many Malaysians have voiced out their dissatisfaction of the policy..

First, we need to know what are the objective of the Malaysian government of implementing this..
From what I heard, it is aimed to increasing the fluency and capability of students to speak in English..
In my opinion, this is a good vision by the government but I'm not really happy with the approach of PPSMI...
My reasons are:

1) Many teachers themselves are not confident in teaching Science & Mathematics in English.
If this is the case, then how can we expect the students to understand the subject thoroughly???

2) In my opinion, I don't think that by learning Science & Math in English will help in improving the quality of English
among students. This is because Science & Math are both technical subjects while English is a language subject.
Aside from learning the scientific term in English (which we rarely use in our conversation),
we are not improving English in any way.

But!!! knowlegde is expand form day to day.And unfortunately for us,almost knowledge nowadays use english.
I state the reasons above for the english improvement, not other knowledge. How can improve ourself if we can not
get the knowledge because we do not understand the knowledge is delivered.
This is very hard situation. We can not make 'Bahasa Melayu' as the lingua franca like what happen in Malacca long ago.
Nowadays, people will respect the country which have the high technology. So,if we want our language,we should work harder.

In my opinion ,PPSMI,should be not abolished..

Have you realised what have you been saying lately? Thoughts and words can make or break us. Our spoken words will not only affect ourselves, but also the people around us. Once it is out of our mouth, it can never be taken back. Therefore, it is very important to think before we speak.

I still remember when I was in primary school, I was kind of naughty and often being punished by the teachers. However, I would not cry or drop a single tear for that punishment. When I was in Form 3, there was a discipline teacher scolded me loudly during assembly time with all sorts of unpleasant words just because I left a resignation (as a prefect) letter on her table. She might not realise that whatever came out from her mouth could be hurting people’s feelings so badly that it left a scar deep inside my heart. I didn’t cry on the spot until I went back to class where all my friends thought she was too over and tried to comfort me. From this experience, I really find that our spoken words are very powerful and once we do not think carefully before saying something, we could hurt other people’s feeling without us realising it. Sometimes, I just think that it would be better to just keep quiet rather than to say something that shouldn’t be said. I have been the victim before so I always try my best not to let any of my family or friends to become the next victim.

Here are some examples to positive thoughts and words:
• Avoid gossip and unhealthy talk.
• Stay away from complaining about others.
• Look at the good qualities and strength of others.
• Do not allow unpleasant emotion to control you.
• Take control of spoken words rather than letting the words control you.
• The choice of words used should be in alignment with your vision and dreams to see personal success.

In conclusion, we should always think and analyse before we speak as whatever unpleasant words we say about others is actually a mere reflection of ourselves. We should view things with compassion because no one is born perfect and we are bound to make mistakes. Before you speak, it is best that you imagine yourself as the listener or put yourself in the listener’s situation. Words are poured out of our mouths easily but it can never be taken back.

Online shopping

I'm sure that my friends in this section are not very familiar about online shopping.Actually
this phenomenon is getting popular among the shopaholics.
For me, I have experienced in online shopping.Sometimes it is very fun for me,this is because i don't have to
walk and walk searching for the bautiful dress or a pair of shoes, just by clicking and scrolling. But did'nt the feeling of real going
for shopping.

Online shopping can be defined the process consumers go through to purchase
products or services over the Internet. An online shop, eshop, e-store, internet shop, webshop, webstore,
online store, or virtual store evokes the physical analogy of buying
products or services at a bricks-and-mortar retailer or in a shopping mall. This d
efinition i got from wikipedia website.

But online shopping need us to be more concern about consumers right. This to avoid us from being cheated.
These are some tips for online shopping.

*Trust your instincts. If you don't feel comfortable buying an item over the web,or if you feel pressured to place your order immediately, maybe you shouldn't.
*Be knowledgeable about web-based auctions. Take special care to familiarize yourself not only with
the rules and policies of the auction site itself but with the legal terms

*Find and read the privacy policy. Read the privacy policy carefully to find out what information the seller is gathering from you
*Review the return, refund, and shipping and handling policies as well as the other legal terms . If you can't find them, ask the seller through an e-mail or
telephone call to indicate where they are on the site or to provide them to you in writing.
*Insure the safe delivery of your item. If you're concerned you may not be home when your package is delivered and that someone may take it if it is left on the doorstep,
ask whether you can specify that the shipper must receive a signature before leaving the package

Assalamualaikum and good day to all..

Everyone knows that people will and can see what kind of person you are with the first impression. So, let see what have I read in the internet about how to conquer the First Impression by Kate Lorenz.

When you walk into an interview, remember this: It only takes 30 seconds to make a lasting impression.
Research has shown that the first impression you make on an interviewer really sticks. In one study, untrained subjects were shown 20 to 32 second videotaped segments of job applicants greeting their interviewers. When the subjects rated the applicants on attributes like self-assurance and likeability, their assessments were very similar to the interviewers', who had spent more than 20 minutes with each applicant.
Fortunately, there are some actions you can take to help master the first impression:

1st:Timing
Few things give a worse impression than showing up late for an important meeting. Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the interview in case you have trouble finding the office.
But earlier isn't necessarily better. If you arrive more than 15 minutes early and beeline for the reception area, your interviewer might feel rushed and you might appear desperate, according to Emily Post's book "The Etiquette Advantage in Business." If you arrive early, go to the restroom to freshen up or have an espresso and muffin at a nearby coffee shop.
Ideally, you should check in five to 10 minutes early, and always be courteous and professional to everyone you meet that you never know how much influence the receptionist may have on the hiring decision.

2nd:Appearance
Like it or not, people make judgments on appearances, so it's important to arrive at the interview looking like a seasoned professional. But if you dress too formally, you'll look stuffy, and if you dress too casually, the interviewer may think you're not serious about the job.
Never wear anything sloppy, tight or revealing to an interview. High-quality, tailored business suits are always appropriate for both men and women. And don't forget the details: Make sure your shoes and any other accessories are clean and polished. Clothes may make the woman or man, but hair and hygiene are crucial. You never want an interviewer to smell you before they see you, so always bath the morning of the interview, use a good-quality bath soap and deodorant, and avoid wearing perfume or cologne.
Be sure your hair is clean and well groomed and nothing spiky or wild and also keep your makeup minimal.

3rd:Handshake
According to Emily Post's book, your grip speaks volumes. Offer a limp hand and your partner will think you're hesitant or meek. Give a bone crunching squeeze and you can appear overly enthusiastic or domineering and it hurts! But when you shake with a medium-firm grip, you convey confidence and authority.
Extend your hand and grip when the webs of your palms touch. Then, pump your hand a couple of times.
4th:Body language
Don't underestimate the importance of your posture and subtle movements. A study by Albert Mehrabian of UCLA found that 55% of communication is received from body language.
To ensure your body language signals your confidence, sit up straight with your shoulders back. Avoid crossing your legs and don't adopt a casual pose even if your interviewer does.
Even if you're nervous, try not to fidget. Don't play with your jewelry, twirl your hair or cross your arms, and try to maintain eye contact with the interviewer. If staring straight into the interviewer's eyes makes you uncomfortable, look at the bridge of his or her nose instead. It looks like you're still making eye contact, but might be less distracting.

For me, all of the above ways are beneficial for us,student. This is because, after we all graduated, we will be interview if we want to get a great job. Thus, we need to know how to conquer the first impression to make the interviewers accepts us for the job. After knowing these skill, I hope we will have a good future for all of us.

SPM: 6,277 score straight As in all subjects

PUTRAJAYA: The 2008 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results announced Thursday saw 6,277 students scoring straight As in all subjects compared with 5,060 in 2007.Education Ministry Director-General Datuk Alimuddin Mohd Dom said 1,676 students scored A1s in all subjects compared with 892 in 2007, while 181,416 or 46.7% passed all subjects compared with 175,452 in 2007.“There were three excellent result achievers who scored A1s in all 16 subjects, two who scored A1 in 15 subjects while six scored A1s in 14 subjects,” said Alimuddin while announcing the SPM and STAM results here Thursday.Last year, 442,936 students sat for the SPM compared with 439,255 in 2007; 435 Special students also sat for the examination last year compared with 355 the previous year.

http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/3/12/nation/20090312132331&sec=nation

Every year, while we look at the news, as normal condition, we were only mention about the 6 thousand more students. We will feel the student as smart as nowsaday because of the number of score-A student inclease from 5 thousand to 6 thousand. In the other side, have you mention and discover there is still 240 thousand of student have no pass all or one of the subject taken? There is ratio of all pass and no pass student is about 6:240. Consider those oversea student and never come back again, malaysia's talents can say is only few people only. This happen going to effect our future country developement. In my view, gorvernment sould be put more attention on those 240 thousand students compare to the 6 thousand score-A student. The syllabus of our country education is already much more easier compare to the international level. But there is still many student can no affort to get the knowledge well. This mean there is problem appear in our country education teaching way.

I think gorvernment should start to take action to solve this problem. Otherwise our country will encounter many trouble due to lake knowledge of residents in future. And one more thing, please do not look down those student and lets us respond it to our education minister. There need help also.

Your personality when you undress..
Amazing but true..

Lets see which personality you are?

1) If you throw your clothes all over the place, you are a friendly, life-of-the-party type. You are free with your thoughts and opinions, not caring much about what others think of you. Your parents might think your room looks like a cyclone hit it? But it actually represents your happy, individualistic nature!

2) If you remove each piece of clothing and put it away carefully, you are a serious person who likes her life to be very calm. You are comfortable with routine, and you believe that the best way to deal with life's problems is to prevent them in the first place. You are a perfectionist. By nature you are quite shy. You are bservant and you know more about some people than they think, just because you've watched them. You are dependable and sometimes intense. You think carefully before making decisions. You go about your tasks methodically, with concentration. You know how to pay attention.

3) If you take off the shirt, and ten minutes later get around to the pants, you are an extremely self-confident person. You are naturally bright and intellectual. You are also a deep thinker who loves to ask questions and ponder the meaning of things. You hate being rushed and you do not like to be hassled. Usually you like a lot of free time for yourself.

4) If you get out of your clothes as quickly as possible, you are concerned about others and what they expect from you, but you're worried about your own needs. You are family-oriented, and stay extremely busy. You often feel stressed, but most of those heavy expectations come from your own head! Give yourself a break; you don't have to be perfect.

5) If you take off your rings, earrings, necklace, watch and etc before anything else, you are a warm and sensitive person. You are considerate and thoughtful, and you give good advice to your friends. You are a natural born romantic.

6) If you don't have an undressing routine and you never do it the same way twice, you are a very curious and interesting person. You enjoy a broad range of activities. You take risks and enjoy fun and adventure. You are very sosial!

Well, I guess each one of have known in which category you are..

HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU WASH YOUR HANDS IN A DAY?

This article is brought to you by lifebuoy. Lifebuoy is one of the hygiene product which is use to wash hands and also for the body. They have conducted a survey on Kosmo’s newspaper and CloveTWO.com found that a total of 52% of respondents wash their hands more than seven times a day, while 34% do so four to six times a day. The remaining 14% wash their hands less than three times a day. The question remains however: are the majority of those who wash their hands more than seven times a day doing it the right way?
There are simple techniques that can be absorbed into one's daily routine.
Here’s one: Dispense soap on palms and then start scrubbing in a circular motion, until foam builds up.
Two:Then, get in between each finger, the ‘hot spots' for germs. Scrub under each fingernail with soap until clean, and don't forget the back of the hands and wrists.
Three: rinse off thoroughly and pat dry with a clean cloth.
While it is good practice to wash one's hand before every meal, it is also crucial that people wash their hands after eating, upon going to the park, after visiting the washroom, when entering the vicinity of their homes, and even after using their PC. Therefore, everyone should consider using an antibacterial soap that focuses on getting rid of bacteria. These article also recommend Lifebuoy antibacterial soap which is important for a healthy lifestyle.

Positive thinking...

What a positive thinking can do? Positive thinking brings inner peace, success, improved relationships, better health, happiness and satisfaction. It also helps to make life look bright and promising. As for students like us, in order to develop a positive thinking, first we need to build a positive attitude toward life, expect a successful outcome of whatever we do and also take the necessary actions to ensure our success.

It is not enough if we think positively for few moments and then let the fear and lack of belief to enter our mind. Some effort and work need to be done.

Here are a few actions that can help to develop the positive thinking.
1)Always use only positive words while thinking and while talking. Use words such as, 'I can', 'I am able', 'it is possible', 'it can be done', etc.

2)Allow only feelings of happiness, strength and success into your mind.

3) Try to disregard and ignore negative thoughts. Refuse to think such thoughts, and substitute them with constructive happy thoughts.

4)During conversation use words that evoke feelings and mental images of strength, happiness and success.

5)Before starting with any plan or action, visualize clearly in your mind its successful outcome. If you visualize with concentration and faith, you will be amazed at the results.

6)Read at least one page of inspiring book every day.

7)Watch movies that make you feel happy.

8)Minimize the time you listen to the news and read the papers.

9)Associate yourself with people who think positively.

10)Always sit and walk with your back straight. This will strengthen your confidence and inner strength.

Daily commitment is needed in order to gain a successful result on positive thinking. Think about it and it is always never been late to make a new move. Think wisely, think positively and make a change..!!

Hello and welcome to Mac episode with me again. I have read one interesting article about what woman hate about man. So, for those who are men, try to read this, so that you will know what are the worst that woman do not like.

The relationship between men and women has always been a love-hate type. This article will describe what a woman finds most annoying in her partner.
Though women publicly admit that they like men who are strong, secretly they like a man on whom she can wield certain amount of power.
It is also likely (majority of the times) that a woman would not like a person who would show insensitivity towards her feelings. This is a mistake that many men make and women do not like this attitude from them. There are many other factors that women generally do not like in men such as arrogance, lies, submissive behavior, etc. Never ever show a woman that you have a weak character. This is one of the traits that women dislike in a man. It is a mistake that many men make by making a woman feel that he is ready to fall at her feet. Contrary to a man thinking that a woman would appreciate it, women get annoyed with men who are too submissive and ready to do anything for her. This does not mean that a woman does not want a sensitive man who is open about his feelings, but it does mean that a woman still wants a man to be his own person, think for himself and claim what he wants from a relationship.
A woman always likes a man who has a big heart and ready to share and care. A self-centered man is rarely loved by women and more often than not will crave for female company.
Manipulative attitude is something that women dislike in a man. Hence, try to be as open in your behavior as possible and at the same time do not fall prey if she displays manipulative behavior. Keeping these points in mind, you can win over a woman. Remember that love blossoms slowly and you need to give your woman time and space if you really want to win her over..

Hello and welcome everybody. Today i want to share one interesting poem for all of you. It is about love. Many people outside there, including you, all need love.

To My Friends Who Are...........SINGLE
Love is like a butterfly. The more you chase it, the more it eludes you. But
if you just let it fly, it will come to you when you least expect it. Love can
make you happy but often it hurts, but love's only special when you give it
to someone who is really worth it. So take your time and choose the best.
To My Friends Who Are............NOT SO SINGLE
Love isn't about becoming somebody else's 'perfect person.' It's about
finding someone who helps you become the best person you can be.
To My Friends Who Are............PLAYBOY/GIRL TYPE
Never say 'I love you' if you don't care. Never talk about feelings if they
aren't there. Never touch a life if you mean to break a heart. Never look
in the eye when all you do is lie. The cruelest thing a guy can do to a girl is to let her fall in love when he doesn't intend to catch her fall and it works both ways...
To My Friends Who Are............MARRIED
Love is not about 'it's your fault', but 'I'm sorry.' Not 'where are you',
but 'I'm right here.' Not 'how could you', but 'I understand.' Not 'I
wish you were', but 'I'm thankful you are.'

To My Friends Who Are............ENGAGED
The true measure of compatibility is not the years spent together but how
good you are for each other.
To My Friends Who Are............HEARTBROKEN
Heartbreaks last as long as you want and cut as deep as you allow them to
go. The challenge is not how to survive heartbreaks but to learn from them.
To My Friends Who Are............NAIVE
How to be in love: Fall but don't stumble, be consistent but not too
persistent, s hare and never be unfair, understand and try not to demand,
and get hurt but never keep the pain.
To My Friends Who Are............POSSESSIVE
It breaks your heart to see the one you love happy with someone else but
it's more painful to know that the one you love is unhappy with you.
To My Friends Who Are............AFRAID TO CONFESS
Love hurts when you break up with someone. It hurts even more when
someone breaks up with you. But love hurts the most when the person you
love has no idea how you feel.

Last few day, i had read a NST newspaper online. I was shocked to read one article as in the below. Very dramatic. I was very sad and feel like wanted to cried.

SPM 2008: Student dies a day before results
NST Online 2009/03/13

Reduwan was riding his motorcycle when the 10.20pm incident occured.

The 18-year-old from Kampung Baru, Jalan Kilang Gula in Chuping, was on his way for supper when a car hit his motorcycle from behind in Jalan Kuala Perlis-Changlun.

State education director Mansor Lat visited the victim's home and handed the results to the father of the victim.

"The results don't mean anything now as he is no more with us now," said brother Basri.

"I met him last night when he came to me at our work place and asked for RM5. I gave it to him.

"He walked away and then turned and look at me with tears in his eyes.

Hi everyone..Today i want to share a short story. The title is Saturday Shock by Leecy Wise.

Carlos felt something strange. What was wrong? He woke up late that Saturday, as usual. The street sounds sailed through his window. People were talking loudly. He heard laughter, mothers calling for their children, kids playing, someone yelling. The music blared from the stand at the corner. What was wrong? In his apartment, everything was silent. He didn’t hear his wife fussing in the kitchen. Rebecca usually made a big breakfast on Saturdays. He didn’t hear his daughter, Katie, bumping her shoes or fists into Jerry’s door. He didn’t hear his son screaming for her to stop. Even the dog was quiet. What was wrong? No radio. No conversation. Carlos looked at the clock across the room. Ten o’clock. Something was definitely wrong! He pulled on his jeans and ran his hands through his hair. He went slowly to the door and listened. Nothing. He opened the door a little and looked around. Nothing. He slid his body through the opening. His heart was pumping. He could feel it pound his chest. He started toward the kitchen. His feet moved slowly from heel to toe. “Beca? Jerry? Katie? “ He thought he heard a scuffle in the kitchen. He inched his way through the kitchen opening. He jumped back startled. “Happy birthday, to you, happy birthday to you!!!” His wife and children were grinning from ear to ear. They let the dog loose. The little terrier jumped into Carlos’ arms.
Sitting in the middle of the kitchen table was a box. The gift wrap was bright red. It had a silver bow on its top. They all looked at it and held their breaths.Carlos walked to the box and slowly opened it. Inside were the keys to a dirt bike. The bike wasn’t new, but it was his! Everyone had chipped in to buy it. Carlos was speechless. Soon his friends and other relatives began to drop by. They stood on the sidewalk, smiling, whistling and screaming.
Carlos could not hear them. He could not think, or talk, or even eat. But he could drive. They watched him round the corner. The sound of the motor was sweet music. He had all day to hear it.

For me, I think this story tell us the appreciation of a man to the creator and his family. His family love him so much that they runs a surprise party to celebrate his birthday. He also feels relief when he can hear the sounds that he always hear all the day when he woke up. To appreciate is a must for us to say thank to the person that has make somethings for us. Just a simple word, "thanks" would be enough to show how we appreciate others.

"ALWAYS APPRECIATE OTHERS"

2.Do you know when we sleep,we will grow by about some inch? But,the next day we back to our former height. This happen because of the cartilage discs are squeezed by the gravity forces.
3.Human bone is so strong as granite in supporting weight.A block of bone in the size of matchbox can support about 9 tonnes that is four times as much as concrete can support.

Hello, I'm so sad....Having a loss defeat to bitter rival Liverpool in last week has at least give a little scratch to all the Man United players and supporters. Of course it's including me. Although the Premier League crown is almost in our hand but the defeat is surely to be remember in quite a time. But let forget the pathetic thing and let's move on because we know although we lost to them twice already in the league but still United have a lot better quantity and quality players compare to The Reds. It's just a couple of mistakes that make The Red Devils suffered the defeat.

So now do you think Man United is still on the right track for the quintuple this season? For me it's yes,why not? Man United have not only quality starting 11 but 22 or maybe 30 players that have a good quality from the keeper until the forwards.

No let me tell all the anti of Man United that just wait for the day that we will silent all of you and we hope you will regret the day you were born for not being Man United fans.

GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!!!!

Hello, i really like to watch Tom Tom Bak program show during holiday.Tom Tom Bak is the one of reality program from Astro that hosting by the famous host is Aznil Hj. Nawawi. Nowadays, more television companies more prefer to produce programs that can get attention from audience s without concerned the affect, the information or knowledge that will audiences will get from the program and others. Tom Tom Bak is the one of program that give good and the bas effects to audiences especially children. The reasons are:

a) This program is not suitable for children because of it can influence children more to entertainment world comparing with learning world. This situation we can’t be happen because if this situation still going on it can give bad influence for our children nowadays.

b) If this situation still happens, all the entertainment elements such as sings, dance, acting and others that can give effect to their mind set. In this program, all the children talk something that nonsense and ridiculous such as the way the language that the children use during the show, with the older person without respect.

c) The good from this program is to build up confident in each of children that join in this program and make they can speak out their own opinion about some topic.

d) This program doesn’t have any learning section such as, to build up the children skill in to develop their minds.

The program on television must be have good input and out output to make sure that the audiences that watch that program can get something from that program such as in America, the program that have a lot of learning process and also test the children knowledge what they learn at school, “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” .

World forests rapidly disappearing:

In a reaction to the alarming data released today in the 2009 State of the World's Forests report by the UN Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), Friends of the Earth International and the Global Forest Coalition, two leading networks of environmental and Indigenous Peoples' Organizations, called on world governments to take immediate action to halt deforestation and forest degradation.
Deforestation rates continue to be shockingly high in many countries despite increased awareness that forests -which host more than 70% of terrestrial biodiversity- play a key role not only in sustaining the livelihoods of more than one billion people but also in mitigating climate change.
The environmental networks called on the FAO Committee on Forestry to stop promoting plantations and urged governments to immediately halt the conversion of forests into biofuel plantations in their countries.
Governments should also recognize urgently Indigenous Peoples' territories, promote community-based forest management and restoration, ban illegal logging and related trade, and implement immediate deforestation moratoria.
The FAO report notes that the expansion of large-scale monocultures of oil palm, soy and other crops for agrofuel production has been a key factor in the failure to halt deforestation.
Another driver for deforestation is illegal logging - 20% of the timber supply comes from illegal sources. Europe remains one of the main markets for illegal timber despite a 2003 EU action plan to combat illegal logging and related trade. Strong legislation to halt illegal timber trade and to decrease Europe's devastating impact on the world's forests should be adopted as a bare minimum - there is no time to lose. According to the FAO report, illegal logging could increase due to the global economic crisis, as it might cause a contraction of the formal forestry sector. An additional worrying trend is the massive replacement of forests by large-scale tree plantations in many countries.
As a conclusion, as you know, plantations are not forests actually. All over the world, plantations will just destroy lands and livelihoods of local communities, as well as biodiversity and water resources. They can absorb or store far carbon than natural forests. Illegal trade and logging have to be halted and banned. Human beings are supposed to take appropriate action immediately but not only by the way of the profits and advantages. Global warming is increasing day to day, if deforestation is keeping on, this would lead a huge devastating impact to the world’s forest, and finally bring destruction to our own! Therefore, think it carefully and deeply, due to our harmonic life and our next generations, no matter government or common people, we need to take suitable action right now in order to cope and halt the deforestation and forest degradation to mitigate climate change.

Family
http://www.thinkingagain.com/html/family.html

Today, I read this story and it was so touching that made me cry at the end of the story. I want to share this story with my all course mates here. In the reason to let you all think deeply about the way we treat our family. Are the way we treat our family now is correct or not? We should think about it as we may hurt their feelings innocently. This story is about a mother who treats badly to her own son, however treat the others the other way round.

The mother in this story seem friendly to every stranger and acted politely. While at home, the way she treat her loved one is totally different. She didn’t noticed how harshly she had spoken to her loved son. She didn’t know her little son’s heart is broken in the way she spoke to him. Until one day, god came to her and said:"While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, but the children you love, you seem to abuse.” Perhaps those words still haven awaked the lady from her cruelness to her beloved son, thus the god asked her to go and look on the kitchen floor that got something special from her son.

What she found on the kitchen floor was really shocked her and made her regret about the way she treat her son. She suddenly felt that the love of her son to her is even greater than hers to her son. There were some different colours of flowers on the floor. All were picked by her son especially to her. He wanted to give her a surprise with those flowers. Her son really loved her so much! But what she had done to her son? She felt so ashamed. She should not treat badly to her own family. After that night, she started care, love and treat sincerely to every member of her family especially her beloved son.

So, have you all gone to read the story already? What are you feeling after read this story? Are you all start thinking about the way we treat our family now is correct or not? We should love our family with our truth heart. No matter happen, they are still our family and they are the only person who stays with us all the time. Strangers are non-related with us. In other words, stranger are the one who we must always aware of. Who knows they maybe are a criminal, robber or murder as we don’t know much about them. Family is the one who we should really love and care about…

PARENTS Need to Respects Duty of TEACHER
Berita Harian, Monday, March 16, 2009
Assalamualikum everyone.Hello..
Today I want to share about the reality happen about our teachers now. As we understand, teacher is a profession which as an educator to student in school. Lately, parents always make a complaint to school about the behavior of teacher. For example, when their son or daughter tells to their parents that they get punishment, parents fully blamed teacher. In my opinion, teacher always do the right thing especially when including punishment.
In an article of Berita Harian write, parents must admit teacher’s profession is not only to pass all the examination, but try to educate student with discipline and good behavior. If parents not give fully trust to teacher, and assume the punishment as abuse their children and still to fight event convict guilty, it will decrease feel of respects to teacher. Parents always prefer on excellent in academic and not in behavior caused their children cannot be admonish if do the guilty. I think there are also parents cannot accept their children make a problem at school and attack school without any discussion. There are also parents make an announcement to media.
Parents need to educate children following revolution time and teacher need to punish guilty student with judicious. Motivator from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Prof Madya Dr Mohammad Shatar Sabran said, teacher profession more though compared to lecturer in university. This is because, teacher need to educate them starting in children phase but lecturer for adults.
As a conclusion, I think the punishment is an educating process and not to ashamed student. Actually, student can learn from their wrong behavior. Teacher must be professional when give punishment to student. Do not follow their emotion. For the parents, it not wrong to be kind to children, but when they in guilty, give punishment as to teach them.

Although this article is about medical degree but then it is about our country, so we must take notice about it.

Crying is an emotional reaction that is completely unique to humans. The moment we were brought to this world, the first thing we did was crying out loudly without any reason. However, as we are growing and becoming more matured, we tend to ignore this nature emotional reaction or hide ourselves from the public if we want to cry. This is very common especially among the men, and some men think that only women are evolutionarily programmed to cry more often. Is it because crying will bring embarrassment or any kind of negative feeling to that person? People cry when they are overwhelmed with any emotion - happiness, despair, or fear - but not everyone cries the same way or for the same reasons.

According to the article, there are 3 different kinds of tears: basal, which protect and moisten our eyes; reflex, which flush irritants and foreign objects from our eyes; and emotional tears, which are produced in response to strong emotions or pain. Our bodies automatically produce basal and reflex, but emotional tears are only ones produced by the process we think of as crying. These emotional tears have higher levels of certain hormones like prolactin, which is associated with breastfeeding and milk production, and manganese, which helps regulate our moods. That is why, women tend to cry more often and more easily than men do. No matter what, some researches show that people who cry in response to stress, pain, or emotion are generally healthier than those who don’t. As we know, keeping emotions will contribute to stress levels, which in turn can cause headaches, heart disease, depression and even cancers.

So do you cry when you are overwhelmed by any emotion or you keep it deep inside your heart? For me, I’ll cry whenever I think it is necessary because I am not good at hiding my feelings and one thing for sure is that I feel better after crying as it will let go all my emotions.

For some people, crying is also a method of getting what they want. However, crying louder and longer isn’t necessarily the best strategy for getting attention. Crying is ineffective when it isn’t genuine or when we are crying too often like “crying wolf”. Other people may take those tears less seriously than the tears of someone not normally disposed to crying. In conclusion, crying is a natural emotional reaction and don’t ever force yourselves to keep this normal reaction from letting it out as it will bring more cons than pros. Also, there is no such thing as men can’t cry and only women will cry. As long as you are human beings, you’re created by God to cry.

Are you all familiar with proverb? Proverb is a short pithy saying in general use, stating a general use, stating a general truth of piece of advice. As for today, I would like to share a proverb that I have come across in the internet lately. This proverb sound like this, "Aim for the moon. If you miss, you may hit a star" by William Stone.
This proverb advise us to look far in front and always think of the future. We should brave ourselves to take a step further in aiming our goal. We might not get what we aimed for but we will still achieve some other things in life. The most important thing is we have the courage to step forward and work in realising our dream.
Most of us here tend to give up easily and always scared of failure. This makes us often live without achieving anything and will only have the chance to dream of the aim that he or she wants. This proverb enables all of us to have a chance to achieve success in life using our own effort. As we try, we will never regret in future. The aim might not be achieved but for sure we have learn something precious in life that we might not realise. So, I hope that all of us will make full use of the meaning behind this proverb.

Hi, friends! I just read an articles that touched my heart very deep and make me cry. This article is “A mother’s love is priceless”(can search by just type in the title name). This articles is talk about a mother when pregnant and until the baby born, then how she use her love and life to nurture her children.

Undeniable, a mother’s love is truly very great and priceless. It can be seen that the first day when she know she was pregnant, everything will change, she started to beware when doing anything, she will prepare a healthy diet list, she will exercise, listen music, reading although she hate do this before. After the baby born, not ever think that mother can rest, she still need breast-feeds her child and brings him warmth and health. When her child falls sick, she would be so worried until forgot to eat and drink, very often, she would also fall sick due to over anxious of her child. Hey, friends, don’t know you can see that your mother is so love you?
She spends much time and energy to nurture her child from the time the child is born, throughout the periods of childhood, teenage and adulthood. But still got some children leave their home for years without any message to her mothers. The mothers can only cry sorrowfully, expecting their arrival from day and night. Don’t you hurt your mother like this?

So, I only can say that mother’s love to you are countless and meaningful. From now, appreciate around what you have and try to study hard and get the flying color results to let your mom happy and don’t let them disappointed . Last, I want say “I love you” to my dearly mom.

Zebra crossing so what? Drivers don't care!

As we know, the function of "Zebra crossing" is a type of pedestrian crossing used in many places around the world. Its distinguishing feature consists of alternating dark and light or dark and yellow stripes on the road surface. A zebra crossing typically gives extra rights of way to pedestrians.

During this study period in UMP, I noticed that many cars do not bother to stop at the zebra crossing. Sometimes, the cars did not slow down eventhough the driver has noticed that there are people crossing the road. Lucklly, as what i noticed, many of the pedestrian did the right thing by waiting till a car stops for them or till there is no more car coming. But sad to say there are some people who do not wait. This is an accident waiting to happen.

So, as a conclude, there is still lake road safety knowladge of the people inside the UMP. Despite our government have spend many for road safety campaign, It is seen not work also. So, in my opion, the best solution for safety is to " Look Out for Ourselves". And I hope that the traffic police would deploy some staff here to book errant drivers! And here you can get some information of road safety by the link : http://www.roadsafetraffic.com/

TROUBLE SLEEPING

Do you ever have trouble sleeping? I personally have had times when I will lay awake in the middle of the night for an hour or more. During that time I find myself thinking about a lot of things. I often ask myself why I cannot think about all these issues or go through this in-depth analysis during the daylight hours. Another trouble I have is getting to sleep. The obvious challenge to all this is when during the day you lack energy and feel sluggish and inattentive. Sometime I just want to go to bed. So, i decide to find a solution in the internet. Then, i found a few tips to getting a good night's sleep.

1. Avoid drinking tea or coffee late at night
2. Stop smoking
3. Go to bed at the same time each night so that you set a routine
4. If you can’t get to sleep after a while, get up keeping the lights low and do something boring until you feel sleepy
5. Try relaxed breathing: breathe slowly and deeply concentrating on your abdomen rather than your chest
6. Avoid paying bills and similar jobs just before sleep
7. Relaxing music can lull you to sleep
8. Don't drink any fluids within 2 hours of going to bed
9. Put your work away at least one hour (but preferably two or more) before bed
10. Sleep in complete darkness or as close as possible

Hope this tips useful for you guys, especially to those who have same problem with me cannot sleep very well at night.

Everyone have their own cell phone. Cell phone is very important for everyone because it can use as call to each others, message, and even listen music and watch videos. How many minutes or hours you spend a day to listen calls? I have some important message wanna share with you all and please spend your little time to what i wrote in this blog.

An experiment was done using an egg and two mobile phones. Firstly, an egg will put middle of both cell phones and start both calls with the middle of egg. During 65 minutes of connection between two mobiles, it has something changed inside the egg. For first 15 minutes nothing happened to the egg. The egg get started hot when 25 minutes pass between two mobiles. 45 minutes later the egg is hot and finally after 65 minutes the egg was cook.

This experiment tell us the immediate radiation of the mobiles has the potential to modify the proteins of the egg. It can do with the proteins of your brains when you do long calls.

So as a conclusion, boys and girls try to reduce your long time calls on mobile phones with your friends or others and try to find a better solution to replace using a cell phone for a long time. Do you want your brain be cook?!!!!!!

Media-Medium for development of Malaysia
Shahril Anuar Abdul Ghani, UUM

In the beginning, media is the best of source and it has high trust among the people of Malaysia. As a medium of communication, it act as information channel which give big influence and play important role in process modernizes. In conversional, media plays role as information source, educate, persuade, and entertaining. The second role, educate people always same as information source, first role of media. Media actually can help in develop of human process thinking in educate and can mould people with the pattern need by Malaysia. Newspaper and radio is the main source of information before independence of Malaysia. And now, there are lots of media that can give us information.

Now days, in Malaysia especially, there are two important of media, ‘watchdog’ for people and as movement member for government. Media always act as support government to give information about the activities and foundation that provide by government to people. Because of that, people easy to get the information and always give support to government to archive all the objectives. People also can give their opinions to government through the media. The power of medium communication can produce unity of opinions, ideas, influence, and change people behavior.

We as a student must be proactive to use media as information centre. We must choose the right channel to find the information. Try to find something give us educating while we communicate with media. For example, we watching movie. Try to find the lesson from the movie. Always find about current issues that happen around us every day to avoid us leave behind at the back. It can avoid us to be influence in negative culture

Most of us understand the importance of rest. We know that we should aim for greater balance throughout our lives, take holidays and ensure that we have sufficient downtime. But for a lot of us, that is far easier said than done. To illustrate my point, I am currently on weekend holiday and writing this article. So, as I sit here, mentally abusing myself for continuing to work on my holiday, I felt it was a great time to reflect on the importance of rest, and hence, why I will be shutting down my computer shortly after I have written this.

Rest can take so many different forms and in today's world is increasingly found in shorter and shorter spurts. There are lots of reasons that we fail to rest ranging from boredom through to over-committing ourselves. But, the fundamental point is that everyone needs a break at times to recharge their batteries. So, here are my tips for ensuring that you get a rest when you need it.

1. Schedule your rest time

We have all been doing this for years by scheduling holidays at work or school so this is not exactly an earth shattering tip. My suggestion would be to apply the same mindset as you do with holidays to your week. Rather than filling every moment with work, socializing or sleep, try scheduling some downtime. This allows you to be spontaneous with some small part of your time, therefore providing a break from your routine. This is time where you are not obliged to do anything at all. So, if you want to use it to take a nap, exercise, read a book, stare at the walls or create your own adventure, then you can. The choice is entirely up to you based on what you want in that moment and hence, making your needs a priority.

2. Take what you can get

It can be easy to assume that our rest time needs to be long and lazy. The reality is that short breaks on a regular basis are considered equally important than that long luxurious holiday that many of us fantasize about. So, if you are inherently busy with assigment, family, friends or anything else for that matter, then take what you can get. It is really easy to give up on the small periods of rest, as we assume it serves no real benefit to us. When you have a lot on the go, it is really easy to just keep charging forward and dismiss the benefit that even a thirty minute break can offer. So, when you see the opportunity, take it. Have a lunch break, read the paper, stop for a coffee or just sit on the couch for a minute when you get the chance. You will feel a million times better for it.

3. Ensure it is something you want to do

This is a tricky one. There are times when we all commit to a rest but it is not actually something we want to do. This does not typically fit the definition of rest. In order to rest, you generally need to be content that you have chosen something that works for you. If you are just doing it to make someone else happy, you normally do not set out in the right frame of mind and over time that can lead to resentment. You need to have a say in how and when you rest. We all need to compromise at times but there is a point at which this is no longer healthy.

4. Treat it with the same importance as any other commitment in your life

This means that you do not reschedule unless something absolutely earth shattering has happened. At a point in time, I was over-committed and had my priorities completely distorted, such that that every time I scheduled a holiday I would invariably cancel or postpone it due to some deadline or another. After continually pushing my holiday back and working almost 5 day of the week, it suddenly dawned on me that I had not taken a break for a few months. I was completely exhausted and had lost my natural stamina. It was a very unhealthy state and it was entirely my fault for not rating my holidays at the same level importance as work and personal commitments.

So, there are my tips for ensuring you get a rest on a regular basis.Else, the semester break is around a corner right. After our final exam, maybe we should take a rest with visiting a nice place around Malaysia such as pulau pangkor or malacca. it help a lot too...

6. The tree compounds can up to 10,000 times stronger in slowing the growth of cancer cells than Adriamycin, a commonly used chemotherapeutic drug!

It has unlike chemotherapy, the compound extracted from the Graviola tree selectively hunts down and kills only cancer cells. It does not harm healthy cells.

Based from research done in America, the results shows that Graviola's leaves and stems were found effective in attacking and destroying malignant cells. Inexplicably, the results were published in an internal report and never released to the public.

Those patient who get infected of cancel can have a try of Graviola fruit and also it's tree of compound because it is natural and free of chemical. Nowadays the only way to cure from cancel is to eat medicine and chemotherapy. It cause hair loss, weight loss and extreme nausea for the patient. So, if our scientist founded a great method why don't have a try? But since we are young we have to do exercise daily, balance our diet and keep our body healthy. This can be prevent of chances to get cancel.

Do it like this

I had read an article. Here are some tips on how to clean your hands effectively with soap and water and alcohol hand rubs.
Soap and water
When
•Your hands are visibly soiled (dirty)
•Hands are visibly contaminated with blood or body fluids
•Before eating
•After using the restroom
How
1. Wet hands first with water (avoid hot water)
2. Apply three to five ml of soap onto your hands
3. Rub hands together for at least 15 seconds
4. Cover all surfaces of hands and fingers
5. Rinse hands with water and dry thoroughly with a paper towel
6. Use the same paper towel to turn off the water faucet
Alcohol hand rubs
When
•Before having direct contact with patients or a patient’s skin
•After being in contact with body fluids, wounds or broken skin
•After touching equipment or furniture near patient
•After removing gloves
How
1. Apply 1.5 to three mls (about the size of a quarter) of an alcohol gel or rinse to the palm of one hand, and rub hands together
2. Cover all surfaces of your hands and fingers, including areas around/ under fingernails
3. Continue rubbing hands together until alcohol dries
4. Make sure your hands are completely dry prior to putting on gloves.
5. Wash your hands with soap and water when you feel a “build-up” of emollients on your hands.
In my opinion, this is the initial steps that we should take in our daily life to prevent us getting ill and affected by bacteria. There are many unknown bacteria nowadays that can spread though the contact with hand. So it is better to take care yourself by cleaning your hand properly.

Suicide forest...

This is an interesting story that I read in the internet. Have all of you heard about suicide forest??
There is a forest called as suicide forest in Japan near Aokigahara. There are hundreds logged at Aokigahara Forest every year, a place known throughout Japan as the "suicide forest". That area is home to the highest number of suicides in the entire country.Japan's suicide rate, already one of the world's highest, has increased with the recent economic downturn.

The reason that causes this suicides is unemployment. There are thousands who are unemployed every year and these people need money to survive. They are helpless and jobless. So, they have only one choice which is to commit suicide. A man who was saved in that forest when he was half dead, shared a story of his life. He was fired form his job, he lost all his financial control, his identity and he decided not to live in this earth. He bought a one-way ticket to the forest and once he got there, he slashed his wrist. The cut wasn't enough to kill him quickly. He started to wander in the forest. He collapsed after days and lay in the bushes, nearly dead from dehydration, starvation and frostbite. He would lose his toes on his right foot from the frostbite. But he didn't lose his life, because a hiker found his nearly dead body and raised the alarm. Now the man is volunteering with the credit counseling agency that helped him get back on his feet. He's still living in a shelter and looking for a job. He's ashamed, he said, that he still thinks about suicide.

Society and the government is establishing an immediate countermeasures to prevent suicides. There should be more places where they can come and seek help. In my opinion, there should be more organization should be established to give counseling for those who are jobless in order to reduce the number of suicide cases.

Causeway walk ban to be lifted

Johor Baru - Malaysia is reopening its old Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) complex for pedestrians - which means that people will soon be able to cross the Causeway into Malaysia on foot once again.

Hey guys...You all have go for the new Jb-S'pore custom ready? If no yet, nevermind, im here going to briefly describe the situation at there. The new custom complex is quite good and it is really big enough as the international airport terminal. The decoration is quite lexus and all the complex buiding is fully air-conditional and the surrouding is also quite clean. This really brings a lot of proud for us compare to the ex-custom which fully simiral like the condition of "pasar",really embarrassing...Besides that, the new discover of this custom is the high-tech pass through system for pedestrians. Pedestrians can only exit M'sia through the system with condition Indendity card, finger-print and passport.

Despite the new custom is quite good, but it also have some lack. Pedestrians need take time almost 30 minutes to reach the M'sia custom which the high-tech system locate for exit purpose due to the complex is too big. There are many as around 20 exit systems for pedestrians but there is only 2 scanner there for checking purpose. This happen to allow the people success to bring back the unduty products from S'pore unlimited. Then now im going to talk about the car custom which mean people exit M'sia with vehicle. There are two line only for queue to through the custom checking.Surpose a custom must have 3 line which 1 line especial for bus and travel-van. So, this made the M'sian whom work at S'pore need to go more early to avoid late. Another big mistake for the custom is that there is no any U-turn junction. So,if the people wrong to take way and entrance the custom road, he or she can success to pass through M'sia custom without any passport there. So guys, you also can have a try when go Jb with reason "I wrong to take way". Maybe you would ask go there for what? I can say it is just for fun. Another reason is the custom road is just like a snack road. Somepeople said it is temporary road but some said it is for save the place for more vehicle can entrance into the custom. So, for those who like Initial-D, you might have a try there but please mention the other safety also.

This custom complex take billion ringgit to build up. But, in my opinion, it is a classic example of poor planning and incompetency. Now, they needed was a straightfoward building(ex-custom) to get people through. The money used for build this complex really wasted, really sad for that.

The safety issue was not fully under JLKN faulty.

I want to give my opinion about PLKN since I have experience being a trainee of PLKN.I was the 2006 batch,
and my camp was in Bringin Beach Langkawi. It was unforgettable memory to be one of the trainee.Come back to main topic.Safety.
As my experience, the safety of all the trainees are always under JLKN rensponsible. The trainer were always take care of all trainees.
Sometimes i felt that were treated like a children.Very pampered.Everytime we had an assembly,we were be asking about our heath.
Not compulsory for trainee who was not very well to have an exercise. The sick trainee were allowed to have rest in a medical room, besides

Global economy to shrink for first time in 60 years....

Good day everyone. Do you all know what is happening around us?? The global economic slowdown is so severe that the worldwide economy will contract for the first time in 60 years. This will be one of the worst turndown in 60 years reported by IMF(International Monetary Fund).

Japan's economy is forecast to shrink by 5.8 percent in 2009, while Europe's is expected to decline 3.2 percent and the United States' 2.6 percent. The turnaround depends critically on more concerted policy actions to stabilize financial conditions as well as sustained strong policy support to bolster demand.

Global economic recovery won't come until 2010, according to the IMF report. The world's economic powers will struggle to break even in the new year, while developing nations' economies will increase by up to 4.5 percent.

Good day everyone. Coffee has been part of us especially for students who like to burn mid night oil. Some might not know the effects of coffee to our health and some might not. So, in this blog I would like to share with you all about the bizarre side effect of drinking coffee. Besides having you to stay awake and more energetic, after consuming moderate amounts of caffeine, people are more likely to agree with persuasive arguments. How does coffee make us so easily persuaded? It happens because caffeine charges up our brain. It's long been known that caffeine sharpens our attention and boosts cognitive performance. Apparently, it also influences us to accept arguments that go against our core beliefs. Lead study author and psychologist Pearl Martin says coffee has this unusual effect because it improves our ability to understand the reasoning behind statements. That is, it makes us more open to the other side and more persuadable.

The fact that the side effects of caffeine in coffee might give you a shock in reality. Caffeine will cause many health problems that might gives you a long term effect. This includes
1.cardiovascular Problems
2.Gastrointestinal Problems Male and Female Health Problems
3.Nutritional Deficiencies
4.Blood Sugar Swings
5.Sleeping problems
6.Emotional Disturbances

So, a cup of coffee might change our life. We might think that coffee freshen our day and it helps in giving a boost in our day. This is true to a certain limit and it will turn all around in bring harm and negative side effects if uncontrollable amount of caffeine is consumed. The way for keeps healthy.- starhealth@thestar.com.my
a) The fitness factor
I sure you all known about fitness. That’s because every evening when I go for jogging, I saw many students going out for jog. But, as I can see many students are not getting right on fit. It’s maybe because they don’t know how the better way to get fit. Here, I want to share some information with you guys. Based on what I read, the value of exercise and keeping our bodies fit cannot be underestimated, especially as we grow older. That’s because the number having health problems continued to rise.
Now, as I can see, students in UMP are so energetic and curious on involving their self in outdoor activity. Some of them doesn’t care for spend their money just to buy a bicycle for their ride at evening or to go class. Their reason just one, for fitness. But, I know some of them go for jogging because of their weight which are increased and decreasing of their stamina’s. The trend is the same for obesity and hypertension. In my opinions we should keeps fits all the times not just for certain reasons. When we are fitted we can do all work easily. It is possible to become healthy again even if you have been fat and unhealthy for many years. But it takes hard work, persistence, and discipline.
b) The cardiovascular factor
Some research in Japan had shown that poor circulation of the cardiovascular system (CVS) may also be associated with cancer, and many other diseases. So, cardiovascular fitness is the first target if you want to become healthy again. All you have to do is keep moving, maximize physical activity, and exercise regularly.
c) The exercise factor
Definitely the exercise will provide healthier to our body especially if we were exercising regularly. This exercise programme was able to reverse 100% of the loss of cardiovascular capacity, returning the group to their 1966 baseline levels of aerobic power. Starting an exercise programme when you are older is still useful and can combat the effects of ageing. Moreover, if you stop exercise you can lose what you have gained relatively quickly. They may have not lost enough weight to regain their youthful weight and shape, but the rejuvenation of the CVS is more crucial to overall health. It is better to be fat but fit, than slim but unfit. The best is to be slim and fit.
As conclusion, whatever we do should be based on what we are looking for. But, for sure the right way of getting healthier will provide good health for a long times.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kidney_stone

Kidney stones???
What is kidney stones? A kidney stone is a solid piece of material that forms in a kidney out of substances in the urine. The stone can stay in the kidney where it was formed, or move into the urinary tract. If you are a victim of kidney stones, you may already know how pain it can be. Most kidney stones pass out of the body without help from a doctor. But sometimes a stone will not pass. It may even get larger. You should call a doctor if you have any of the following signs:
• extreme pain in your back or side that will not go away
• blood in your urine
• fever and chills
• vomiting
• urine that smells bad or looks cloudy
• a burning feeling when you urinate
There are some tips to reduce the risk of kidney stones:
• Drink 14 cups of fluids, preferably water, each day.
• Limit your salt intake to no more than 1,500 milligrams each day.
• Limit the amount of meat you eat to no more than two 6-to-8 ounce servings each day.
• People with recurring kidney stones may need an exam to figure out what's causing the problem. Your doctor may prescribe medication to help prevent kidney stones

In my opinion, kidney stones is a quite serious disease. Although it can pass out of the body without the help of the doctors, but we also need to beware. Besides, kidney stones not only can happen on the adults, children also can get its easier if intake too much high salt food. Finally, hope my friends can take good care to your body to avoid fall down in sick because test2 and final test is coming.

Stress, tension, worries and burden are all the causes that makes oneself gets angry and uncomfortable with. Anger can be taken out on anything. When we are stressed, depressed, or mad, we don't always know what to do. Are you looking for help?. Here's how to cope with strong emotions and calm yourself down. However you have to remember that it's always up to you, you can control yourself if you follow these instructions.
1. Gently and quietly, breathe through your nose and back out through your mouth for as long as you're angry or disturbed. If you feel light headed, slowly stop. However, if you are very emotional and breathing too fast, use a paper lunch bag to breathe into to slow your system down.
2. Shake your shoulders to release tension.
3. Talk to friends or go on the computer to forget about the stress.
4. Lie down in a safe place. Close your eyes and listen to slow music to take your mind off of emotional pressure. Let all tension in your forehead, neck and hands fade away slowly. Imagine every part of your body relaxing. Start with your toes and as you breathe, imagine them becoming one with the Earth. Remember to breathe from your stomach and not chest, and to spend several breaths on each body part until you feel all the muscles there completely relaxed. Try to be as still as possible.
5. Take a piece of paper to write logically about what has happened and list steps of action to sort it out properly. After you write it down, shred it and throw it away. It's symbolic of throwing away those feelings you just want to get out.
6. Squeeze a stress ball, sponge, or other pliable object at least 50 times.
7. Take a walk outside alone. Go to a store or the park or even your backyard! A good breath of fresh air always feels good.
8. Hit something, not someone! Kick your sofa or punch a pillow, but never a person or an animal

Coping with stress is very important as it leads to a happy and healthier day ahead. Live with anger will only spoil your day as nothing can be achieved from that kind of situation. By practicing the few ways of staying calm and remain relax, we can make a change in our day. To know more method of calm down, you all can surf this website http://www.wikihow.com/Calm-Down where more ways are available for you.

Today i want to share a story about friendship.
There is one young man who always full of anger although he's only face a simple problem. He can't control his anger. One day,his father gave him a present that is a one bag of nails. He feel so confuse what is gonna he do with that nails. So,he ask his father."When you get angry, you hammered this nails on the wall in front of our house. You can release your anger on that wall",his father says.Only in the first day,he already hammer 37 pieces of nails on the wall. After a weeks,he slowly can reduce his anger with the total of nails also reduce. He finally realize that control his anger is more easy than hammer the nails on the walls.
Then he send that good news to his father and his father congratulate him on that good thing he do.After that, his father want him to to remove all the nails on that wall. After a few days, without any anger feeling he remove all of the nails from the wall and he tells his father about it.His father hold his hand and walk to that walls. His father says,"You have done a good work,my son.But look at the walls, does it look same as before you hammer the nails on it?No,right.Look there, there are so many hole.Same thing when you said or do something when you angry,it's will leave wound and scar.Remember this, how many time you apologize and regret with what you have done, that wound will never be recover.Wound at heart is more painful than any physical wound.Friend is not easy to find. They will make you laugh and give you a spirit to get your dream".
For me,friends not only makes me laughing, they also can be a good listener that we can share everything with him/her.
So,if you love and care about your friend, you must think twice before you do or said something because it sometime we not realize what we said or do to our friend.

Jealousy. Don't tell me that never once you are jealous of someone around you. Jealousy is something that is so common in our life and has been part of our life. But jealousy actually is the root of evil. So, ways must be taken to handle jealousy. Many people feel jealous from time to time. Jealousy is easy to deal with, once you understand what it's teaching you. Here are some pointers on working through your emotions and feelings of jealousy.

1. Understand the emotions. Jealousy is a combination of fear and anger: fear of losing something and anger that someone is "moving in on" something that you feel belongs only to you.
2. Allow yourself to actually 'feel' emotions in a healthy way. When you start feeling jealous, ask yourself: Is it more fear-based or more anger-based? Recognize which part of your body is being affected. If you feel a dropping or clutching sensation in your stomach, it’s probably fear. If you feel a burning, tight sensation in your shoulders and jaw, then you’re likely feeling anger. You might also feel a combination of those sensations.
3. Communicate your feelings. Sharing your true feelings with someone without blaming them can create a deep sense of connection between the two of you and open up a dialogue about the path of your relationship. Use "I" instead of "you." Instead of saying, "You shouldn't have done that," say, "I felt terrible when that happened."
4. Identify what your jealousy is teaching you. Jealousy can alert you to what you want and what is important to you. If you’re jealous of someone talking to a friend of yours, personal relationships may be important to you. If you’re jealous about money, you may have an underlying need for security or freedom. Ask yourself, "Why am I jealous over this? What is making me jealous? What am I trying to keep? Why do I feel threatened?" When you begin to understand what makes you jealous, you can begin to take positive steps to maintain those things, without the cloud of negative emotion that accompanies jealousy.
5. Change any false beliefs that might cause jealousy. There are often false beliefs that underlie jealousy and fuel emotion. If you examine the belief, you can often eliminate the jealousy. Some common underlying beliefs are “Everyone is out to get my money” or “If this person leaves me, I won't have any friends.” Beliefs are changeable. If you change your belief, you change the way you feel. Choose to tell yourself a belief that is nurturing and supportive, and you’ll feel better. When you begin taking steps to creating a happy and fulfilling life for yourself, you will find the anger, the jealousy, and the fear will disappear. Don't listen to people who make you jealous.

ALthough jealousy is always attached to the word negative thinking, but actually sometimes jealousy will make us more determine to achieve something better and to be on top of the best. We will strive for the best and never let ourself fall behind. This kind of jealousy actually is beneficial for us. Since jealousy gives us pro and cons, so we must always clear up our mind to look into the positve side of each and everything that happen on us. Be wise and also be reasonable.

http://kidshealth.org/teen/your_mind/mental_health/self_esteem.html

here, i want to share something with you guys. since we are going to presenting our inventions which are about around the corners,so i want to share this. it will help us to improve self-esteem. for those who are low in self-esteem, here are some steps to start empowering yourself:

1)-Try to stop thinking negative thoughts about yourself.
~If you're used to focusing on your shortcomings, start thinking about positive aspects of yourself that shocked them.

2)-Aim for accomplishments rather than perfection.
~Some people become paralyzed by perfection.you should think about what you're good at and what you enjoy, and go for it.

3)-View mistakes as learning opportunities.
~Accept that you will make mistakes because everyone does. Mistakes are part of learning.it's what makes people interesting.

4)-Recognize what you can change and what you can't.
~If you realize that you're unhappy with something about yourself that you can change, then start today. If it's something you can't change (like your height), then start to work toward loving yourself the way you are.

5)-Make a contribution.
~Tutor a classmate who's having trouble, participate in a walk-a-thon for a good cause, or volunteer your time in some other way. Feeling like you're making a difference and that your help is valued can do wonders to improve self-esteem.

Crime

Today, I would like to share about the issue of crime with all my course mates here. Why I pick this issue? The crime rate is nowadays society is increasing tremendously and the citizens nonstop shocked by cruel crime incident once they read the newspaper. More and more cruel and inhumanity crime are keep on happening in this 21st century. This show that the crime is getting serious and people should start to think out an effective way to stop the crime from keep on happening. Otherwise, more life will be scarified and our society will soon become a mess. Peaceful and harmony may no longer be able to be found in our society.

Before proceed to the way of prevention, we should identify the causes of the crime first. What really causes crime? There are different types of crime like violent, property, street, environmental and drug-related. First of all, one of the crime factors is the peer influence. A person's peer group strongly influences a decision to commit crime. Next, the desire for material gain (money or expensive belongings) due to the materialism enjoy. On the other hand, children who are neglected or abused are more likely to commit crimes later in life than others --- parental relations.

Thus, how are we going to deal with all this kind of causes of crime? Parents should take note of this seriously. They are the one who can mostly influence their child. In this case, parents should strive to create a lovely family and try to spare more time with their children to help to build up a good characteristic of their children. Nevertheless, if you witness a crime, it is important that you should immediately lodge a report at a police station nearest to your location. Meanwhile, cooperation among the citizens and the government is really important in order to progress every prevention activity successfully. The prevention of crime vital towards building a peaceful and safe community!

Well this time i got something interesting to share with you guys,a friend of mine had released a note from his Facebook profile about:
Things that might not cross over girls' mind about guys:
> 1) Guys may be flirting around all day, but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about....
> .
> 2) Guys are more emotional than you think, if they loved you at one point, it'll take them a lot longer then you think to let you go, and it hurts every second that they try.
> .
> 3) Guys go crazy over a girl's smile(:
> .
> 4) A guy who likes you wants to be the only guy you talk to.
> .
> 5) Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what?..uh...nevermind.." would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking. And he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll obsess about it trying to figure it out.

So what is your opinion,do you agree with this statement?Well for me i'm quite agree with all the points that he pointed out because i think some of it had happen to me before and it really interesting to talk about.Actually if you want to know more about this thing,i just updated it in my blog,so if you want to read more go to http://bobbieiceman89.blogspot.com/

The family's problems are compounded when Kiat Kun accidentally loses Seow Fang's only pair of shoes after taking them to be repaired. The children conduct a frantic search but find nothing. Kiat Kun and Seow Fang both are smart students in school. In the story, there is one boy who comes from wealthy family like to bully Kiat Kun and they have created so many conflicts with each other. However, their conflicts are finally ended up with a true friendship. At the end of the story, the wealthy boy willing to help the Kiat Kun without hoping any pays back from him.

I feel touched of the act they switch shoes to wear to school as Seow Fang has to wear her brother big size shoes as she lost her shoes and her family did not get enough money to buy a new pair for her. A strong kinship has been shown by Kiat Kun as he always try to protect his little sister and try hard to get a new pair shoes for his sister. Does anyone of you here also have strong kinship among your siblings? If not, try to do so in future. Besides, Seow Fang also has show her love to her mother when her mother is going to give birth to her younger brother by run across a long path littered with broken glass to find a midwife. Will you do so when you are in similar condition?

Put two and two together, kinship and friendship are both very important in our life. Kinship is blood relationships with our family who we should really care and love each other while friendship is a distinctively personal relationship that is grounded in a concern on the part of each friend for the welfare of the other, for the other's sake, and that involves some degree of intimacy. We should care and love our family and also our friends with our true heart. Let us help to create a harmony and peaceful environment in this society!

Do you drink tea? How often do you consume it? People in Asian countries more commonly consume green or oolong tea, while black tea is more popular in the United States and Europe. No matter green, black or oolong tea, these teas are all derived from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, which are originally cultivated in East Asia.

From this article, it is said that the green tea is prepared from unfermented leaves, while the leaves of oolong tea are partially fermented, and black tea is fully fermented. So, how does this matter and which tea is the best? The more the leaves are fermented, the lower the polyphenol (chemicals with potent antioxidant properties) content and the higher the caffeine content. From this, we can tell that the green tea is the best choice for consumption as it contains the highest polyphenol content and the lowest caffeine content.

As most of you have already known, green tea is the main consumption by the Japanese people and these Japanese people are among the people to have the longest longevity. Is this due to the effects of the green tea or is it influenced by their other living lifestyles? No matter what it is, green tea has been extensively studied in people, animals as well as laboratory experiments, and the results show that green tea may be useful for the following health conditions:
a) High cholesterol – lower harmful LDL cholesterol, raise good HDL cholesterol
b) Cancer – polyphenols help in killing cancerous cells and stopping their progression
c) Diabetes - control blood sugar and regulate glucose in our bodies
d) Liver disease – protect liver from damaging effects of toxic subtances, such as alcohol
e) Overweight – improve weight loss by boosting metabolism and helping to burn fat
f) Dental caries/Arthritis – reduce inflammation and slow cartilage breakdown

Besides the health benefits stated above, I believe there are still many other advantages that are still unknown to us. All of us should start consume teas, especially green tea at least once a day. Don’t start consuming it with the purpose to cure a certain disease when you are already having that particular disease. Green tea is not a medicine. It can’t cure any disease but it plays an important role in preventing certain severe diseases. Prevention is always better than cure. Don’t make yourself regret until it is already too late.

Today I want to talk about chimps that has travel to the universe in a film tittle, "Space Chimps". Although it is a science fiction film, it has moral values that we can take for lessons.
In this film, three chimps; Ham, Luna and Titan was sent to other planet(Malgor) through a wormhole to check whether there is any other life exist. Meanwhile, on that planet, there is a species that named Zartog called itself as a Lord as he gets to control the probe that Humans had sent it earlier. Lord Zartog rules the species cruelly. After the chimps arrive, Titan had been kidnapped. After Ham and Luna rescued Titan, they did not ride the rocket instead they stay behind to rescued the others species from Lord Zartog. Then, they redesigned the probe and back to the earth. The chimps been awarded as the astronaut chimps.

From this film, we can see how much they take care of each other. They also care about others although they even did not know what kind of species they are. They also show great teamwork and hardworking job.

Hot tea linked with throat cancer...

Do you like to drink hot tea?If you like to do so, it will be better if you can stop the habit now.It is because the new research from British Medical Journal stated that hot tea can cause throat cancer.I read this statement from NST online.
Based on the article, those who drank hot tea (between 65-69 degrees Celsius, 149-156 degrees Fahrenheit) were twice as likely to develop throat cancer compared with those who drank warm or lukewarm tea, whose temperature was 65 C (149 F) or less.

The study stated that scorching fluids may cause damage to the throat's epithelial lining and lead to cancer but how this happens remains unclear. It recommended that tea junkies wait at least four minutes before drinking from a freshly boiled cup.The study also said there was no association between the amount of tea that was consumed and the risk of cancer.

Why Can't Sleep?
You may be asking yourself this question. We all have a difficult time getting enough sleep from time to time. There are a number of reasons why we can’t sleep some of the time. Stress is one of the main reasons a person loses sleep.
We all need a sufficient amount of sleep to get through the day. When we don’t get enough sleep, we walk around sleep deprived, and the symptoms of sleep deprivation are many and vary from person to person. Some people experience physical symptoms when sleep deprived such as headaches and body aches. Others experience a lack of ability to concentrate and foggy thinking.
Most people need at least 7 hours of sleep every night in order to perform at their maximum capacity. There have been those who have claimed they could get by on just a few hours of sleep each night, but they usually pay a price. You can tell when someone has lost sleep because it usually shows on his or her face. Just getting a few extra hours of sleep over the course of a few days can make you look younger and feel younger.
If you have felt irritable, foggy headed, or tired and listless recently, try getting more sleep. If you have trouble sleeping at night, try finding something that will turn your brain off. Oftentimes people find they can’t sleep because they can’t stop thinking about what’s going on in their lives. This often occurs when a person is feeling high levels of stress during the day. When you have a stressful day, a busy day, or even a great and exciting day, these can contribute to insomnia – not being able to sleep.
During times of insomnia, it is often helpful to turn your brain off the thinking cycle. Try doing sudoku puzzles before turning the light out. You’ll find that doing a puzzle of some sort, whether it is a sudoku puzzle or a word puzzle, often gets your mind off the stress and problems in your life and also has a calming effect.
Another helpful thing to try is to practice relaxation exercises. You might find that before you get through the exercise, you’ve fallen asleep. Meditating for a few minutes is a good way to calm the mind and get ready to relax and go to sleep.
One of the worst zappers of getting the sleep we need is our busy schedules. If you find you’re not getting enough sleep, sit down and figure out what you can cut out of the day in order to get more sleep. Often just a two-hour nap will help you feel refreshed and ready to tackle the day.

What are the elements of a good treat to customers?
Here is a question for all of you. As a customer, how many of you have had a bad customer service experience? Looks like it's all of you. So think about it, if all of you have had a bad experience, it means that most likely all of your customers have had one too. If your customers have had a bad experience, then consciously or unconsciously, they are affected by it. Have you ever noticed that some customers come in with an attitude — a chip on their shoulder or an emotional wall up? In these situations, when your customers are on the offense, like so many other service providers, you end up feeling defensive. But, it isn't necessarily about you. It is based on another experience with another person they have dealt with. So what can you do to remove the chip and break down the wall?
Greet your customers warmly and sincerely. A truly warm welcome can be totally disarming. Imagine walking into a restaurant and being greeted as a friend or member of the family— someone who was grateful to have you walk in to their place. No matter how good the meal was, you would still be happy you went there. The experience would have been positive enough that you would gladly give them another try.
So, what are the elements of a good greeting?
1. First, do an attitude check. Before you start your workday, do a personal inventory: How you are feeling? Are you tense? Are you rested? Did you just have a frustrating drive in to work? Did you have an argument with someone? Be aware of how you are feeling and what you are thinking and leave any negative emotions at the door. You’ll find it is too hard to automatically treat others well when you are battling with your own problems.

2. Immediate customer recognition. Don't wait even a couple of minutes to acknowledge your guest’s presence. If you are in proximity of your customer, say hello. If you are with another customer you can still acknowledge them. Nothing is more frustrating than waiting for someone to notice you. A simple nod of the head, eye contact or a brief comment will let the person waiting know that you have seen them and will soon be with them .Whether you are the janitor or the CEO, say hello to the customer as soon as you can. No matter what your position — you’re in the customer service business.

3. Make the greeting warm and sincere. Customers have sincerity radar. They can tell if you are “faking it.” One of the best ways to ensure that your greeting is warm and sincere is by expressing your gratitude. If you are not truly grateful that this person chose your establishment, you need to remember where your paycheck is REALLY coming from. The more that you can feel appreciative that this person has decided to do business with you, the better you will treat them.

4. Handshakes are optional. It is usually standard practice to make sure that EVERYONE gets a handshake, but the fact is, there are many cultures that find a handshake offensive. With the world getting more culturally diverse, the best tip is to wait with your hands at your side until the customer makes the first move and then respond by doing what they do, whether it’s a handshake, a hug or a bow

5. Avoid asking, "How may I help you?" In a sales situation, this question allows the customer to say, "just looking", at which point you are already at a disadvantage. It’s better to start off with, "How are you?” or a compliment on something they are wearing, such as, "great glasses, where did you get them?” or even a comment on the weather. Conversations like these can often help you start building rapport. But if your customer doesn't like small talk get to the point quickly.

6. Understand your customer. Begin your relationship with the true goal of finding out their wants and needs and then try to make sure that you fulfill them. Working with this goal foremost in your mind will help define every action you take.
Even though greeting your customer sounds so basic, aren't you amazed at how often people fail to do this properly, leaving you feeling ignored and poorly treated? Remember you only have about five seconds to create an impression — make sure it is a good one! A good greeting not only starts things off on the right foot, it can also build a strong foundation for the future.

Building your house

Hi, everyone!.Here, I would like to share with you a story that I read from http://www indianchild.com.This story entitled building your house.
One day, an old carpenter planned to retire from his job as a carpenter. He wanted to spend his remaining life with his wife and family. When he told his employer about his plan, the employer felt so sad because he was a good carpenter. However, before he retired, the employer asked him to build a house for personal favor. The carpenter agreed but he was not in a mood to work as a carpenter anymore. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.
When the carpenter had finished doing his work, the employer came to inspect the house.Suddenly, he go to the carpenter and gave a key to him.He told him that the house was a gift from him to the carpenter. The carpenter was very shocked. He never expect that he will live in a house that he made in his own.He felt so regretted because he did not built the house properly.
So, what a lesson that we can get from this story?I think the main lesson that we can get from this story is we have to be honest when we are working.Eventhough the carpenter wanted to retire, he should does the last task that is given by his employer properly. It is because the he does not retire yet and has to do his work as usual to avoid him from being regret later.

Sand and stone

"Learn to write your hurts in the sand and to carve your benefits in stone".I’m sure that you are not understand when you read this sentence. Actually this sentence I took from the story of sand and stone that I read from http://www indianchild.com.
The story begin when James and Michael were walking through the desert.During the journey they had an argument and James slapped Micheal in his face.Micheal was so sad because he never expect James will slap him like that. Then, he wrote on the sand, “Today my friend slapped me in the face.” Then, they continue their journey.Suddenly, they found an oasis and they decided to take bath.Unfortunately, Michael got stuck in the mire and started drowning.Luckily, James saved him. Then, Michael wrote on the stone, “Today my friend saved my life.”James noticed that Micheal looked different on that day. Then he asked him why he wrote on the sand after he was hurt and why he wrote on the stone after he was saved.Michael replied, "When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."
So, from this story I hope that we will always be ready to forgive our friends. It is important because we always need friends in our life.

Boys and girls, who would like to be younger as long as your age get increases? Is it a interesting topic? Especially among of girls. To get younger except we must have a daily exercise and balance diet, here i have six kinds of food would like to introduce to you all.

1. Olive oil
-> Researchers from the Seven Countries Study concluded that the monounsaturated fats in olive oil were largely responsible for the low rates of heart disease and cancer on the Greek island of Crete . Contains of olive oil are polyphenols, powerful antioxidants that may help prevent age-related diseases.

2. Yogurt
-> It is a food ubiquitous in their diets. While the age-defying powers of yogurt never have been proved directly, yogurt is rich in calcium, which helps stave off osteoporosis and contains 'good bacteria' that help maintain gut health and diminish the incidence of age-related intestinal illness.

3. Fish
-> Fish are remark as free of heart disease. The reason is the extraordinary amount of fish their consume. Fish is an abundant source of Omega-3 fats, which help prevent cholesterol buildup in arteries and protect against abnormal heart rhythms.

4. Nuts
-> It show that those who eat nuts gain, on average, an extra two and a half years. Nuts are rich sources of unsaturated fats, so they offer benefits similar to those associated with olive oil. It also concentrated sources of vitamins, minerals and other phytochemicals, including antioxidants.

5. Chocolate
-> It can prevent heart disease that is nine times less than that of mainland Panamanians. Cocoa, of it's contain which is unusually rich in flavanols can help preserve the healthy function of blood vessels. Maintaining youthful blood vessels lowers risk of high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, kidney disease and dementia.

The Story of a Boy and a Tree
www.iluvislam.com

Assalamualikum and hello everyone. As we already know, we cannot deny the greatness of our beloved parent’s sacrifice, how they have spent most of the time lives to secure our future; their children’s future. From the time we were infants until we become useful people, they care for us. So, I want to share a story that relates to their sacrifice. The story is about a boy and a tree in countryside.

Once upon a time, when a boy was a small child, he used to play with a particular tree everyday as a hobby. Tree was very happy and wished that it could stop time from going on so that it could stay with the boy forever. But time goes on by and the boy gradually grows older day by day, year by year. Lastly, he doesn’t play with the tree anymore. So, the tree becomes very sad and lonely.

One gloomy morning, as the tree was standing alone, remembering the happy days they had together, it got a shock joy. It is because the boy comes back. He had come to ask for money but the tree didn’t hesitates even the least to give and sacrifice all it had with its capability, shedding all its leaves to give to the boy, leaving it bare and cold. The boy went away happily but didn’t return for along time.

A few years passed by and the boy has grown into a handsome man. Eventually, he came back to visit the tree, asking yet another favor for wood to build of his house. Once again, the tree sacrificed itself and was partly cut down. But again, the boy left the tree alone and never come back anymore.

In this story, the tree symbolizes our parents. It showed the reality today. Children never appreciate their parents’ sacrifice but always asking for more. Parents, on the other hand, never abandon their children’s hope and sacrifice all they could. Some nowadays think that money could pay everything for what they have done, that is by giving their parents money. Actually, this concept is totally wrong.

Always remember, love has no substitute, be it billions of dollars or ringgit, no value can match the price of love. One thing need to remember is that, even if you service your parent for whole of your life, you still cannot pay for what they have done for you. The parent’s sacrifices are invaluable.

Last but not least, “A son’s sacrifice towards his parents is not complete until a situation arises whereby he buys and frees his parents from becoming slaves.”

More go for abortion

NEW YORK - THE pregnant woman showed up at the medical centre in flip-flops and in tears, after walking there to save bus fare.
Her boyfriend had lost his job, she told her doctor in Oakland, California, and now - fearing harder times for her family - she wanted to abort what would have been her fourth child.

After heard this news, what is you feeling? For me, i don't believe that abortion is the right decision for them to do so. Has the kid done anything wrong to deserve the capital punishment? It is really absurd. Despite i know that good and proper care must be the definition for the child's basic needs. But, the child is already there, how can you treat them by this cool way! If times are bad and can't keep the child, then stop having sex, or at least use some pracautionary measures! It is really a damn man to think that abortion is ok when one cannot afford!

Abortion is the absolute last resort if health is threatened from pregnancy, and not a way out to a more comfortable life. As my views, this main problem might due to the people keep doing things without consider the effect nowsaday. They done things without using their mind. Feel sad and angry fot the irresponsible family planning news and the human changes.

Earth hour count down in progress.. And its ended..
Sad thing that I am not in dark just now.. Currently in the study room where the other people need lights and I dare not to close it although I hope to do so. Although I didn’t categorize myself as one that keen to the environmental protection issue as much as the volunteers from WWF, but as for me I am glad as when I reach my hostel, I heard someone shouting around:”Tutup Lampu! Tutup Lampu!”. This shows that the people here are keen of this, too.  Why should we do this? In my previous posts, I already explained a little bit about the protection of the earth where I discussed about the Green House Effect. A basic mistake normally people will make is people will think that most people won’t do so and they themselves think their effort is small and will not help the world or the earth. This perception is wrong. We must remember one thing: the choice is on our hand. Just imagine if everyone think like that and never care about the nature, then it’s a nightmare. Everyone throw their rubbish everywhere, every factory’s pollutants and chemicals flow into the rivers and open burning are here and there. Will such situation affect our mother nature? Can we leave in comfort in such condition?

Earth hour actually started in Australia in year 2007 where 2.2 million of residents, factories and company turned off their lights for one hour as a significant sign to show their keen to the nature. In year 2008, it turned into a global appeal where more than 50 million people supported this activity. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness. This year, the target increased into the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights. The target now is due to the coming meeting of the world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. The success of getting 1 billion votes will raise the awareness of the leaders during the conference later.

I really hope that an outcome can be obtained during that conference and a new agreement will be signed to protect the earth. The action in the previous time where America broke the Kyoto Protocol is not going to happen anymore. Thank you guys for those who choose to vote for the Earth.

Do Malaysians shower before going to bed?

Less than half of Malaysians hit the showers before they turn in for the day.
According to a recent survey conducted by CloveTWO.com and Kosmo! Newspaper, only 44% shower right before going to bed.
Still, while showering before bedtime is important, it's absolutely crucial that antibacterial soap/shower gel – such as Lifebuoy's antibacterial soap - is used.
When showering, extra attention should be given to areas of the body where most people neglect, such as the back, behind ones ears and ankles, and between the toes – all bacteria-prone spots.
And why is it important to shower just right before bedtime? Well, simply because everyone, whatever their age, are constantly exposed to bacteria; at school, in the garden, at the office etc.
Then of course there's the little forgotten fact that the bed itself makes for the perfect breeding ground for all sorts of microorganisms. Dead skin cells, perspiration, the body's natural oils etc all contribute to making your bed the ideal harborage for bacteria, dust mites, and bed bugs. All these could lead to a wide range of health problems.

Hi everyone...

Here, I want to share about my experience in doing water confident. I have been doing it last 2 weeks ago on 15th March 2009 for second time in my life at Paloh Hinai. This is for raft expedition which is a program for Kor Suksis UMP. Before this, I have been doing it in the last semester for kayaking which is my first time at that time.

Mostly, people will be more confident when doing it in second time or for more time. But, it was so scared for me to do it again in second time because I got a bad experience about it before this. So, it make me trauma to do it again. But, I should to do it again because to make sure I will be more confident when I’m on raft.

During doing it, I got a special case from firemen and my trainers. So ashamed but I feel proud because after that I have been more confident on raft. Thanks a lot for them because made me more confident in facing the river.

From that situation, I think whatever it's so hard to us, it can make us easy to do it if people give a support from back.

Hi guys...

Now, I want to share about the raft expedition that I had joined it last week on 20 until 22 March 2009 at Sungai Pahang. There are 79 members of Kor Suksis who join it which is devide into 8 group.

On 20th March at Kampung Belimbing, each group should make a voting on raft because there are only 7 raft have been prepared. The other one cannot be prepared because of a problem which is not enough bamboo before that.

So, when we got the number 2 of raft, it made us so happy because we assumed that raft is one of the completed rafts. But, so sad because the raft that we got is not what we assume. We saw the other group have a completed raft with dry bamboos and we had only 3 fresh bamboos without any tie at our voting number. We know that fresh bamboo is very heavy than dry bamboo. So sad!!!...

But, we should accept it as our luck. We have a high spirit to do it by ourselves because we think that cooperation from each other is more important in whatever we do. Besides, we also got any help from our trainers. We are very happy in doing it by ourselves because we can get a new knowledge on how to do the raft.

On 21st March, we are so thankful to God because our raft can float on river when expedition at Sungai Pahang until 8 hours from Kampung Belimbing and finished at Paloh Hinai safely. On 22nd March which is the last day of that program, we had a race of raft. The thing that made us so proud is our group got 2nd prizes of that race. We were so happy at that time and said "fresh bamboo is not an obstacle for us to be the winner although the 2nd ranking.

I enjoyed with that program although I got sick after that.huhuhu... From that program I got many experience on how doing the raft, positive thinking which is accept whatever we got, can made our relation closely between each other and have enjoyed it. Thanks a lot to all our trainers of Kor Suksis because made a good program for us to test our mental and physical's strong.

That's all from me...=p

Assalamualikum and hai guys..i did not have any article to share with you today. I've read some article but still cannot find the interesting one to share with all of you. Suddenly i got an idea and i think it is very useful to share with you guys...

Today I shall talk to you about one product I trust and have been using for every other day in my life, for the pass 2 years. And all of you must give it shot and shall not look back.

The product is Dutch Lady 0% Fat drinking yoghurt. You know how when you like something, you always compare the same thing of different brand to it? Yes I always do that, I always compare other drinking yoghurts to my drinking yoghurts. And up to this day, its still the best. The taste is so good, I love all the flavours it offers. Usually if I like something like Sugus for example, I only go for strawberry, and never orange.

For you people who are still in doubt, let me tell you something, this drink maintains your metabolism rate okay. And and it has 0% fat and less sugar compared to others. So, no excuses now, its available nationwide okay! For good digestion and intestinal health, Try it and you will be never regret...oh ya, its good for people out there that in diet also.

Few days ago,i've read anarticle title," Do Malaysians shower before going to bed?"Recent survey conducted by
CloveTWO.com and Kosmo! show that only 40% from us have a shower before sleep. The reason having a bath before sleep is to
protect our body from bacteria. It is a fact, bed itself makes for the perfect breedin ground for all bacteria.
For those with sensitive skin who are prone to skin irritation that leads to scratching, showering twice a day.
But one question i want to ask you ask a reader,is this practice is confirmed get make us healhty ?This is because
we are exposed to other disease about lung.I have always heard that, having bath before going to bed can allowed a disease called pneumonia.

10,000 to switch off

MORE than 10,000 people and 450 schools, malls, hotels and companies here have signed up to turn off their lights for an hour on Saturday from 8.30pm.
It is all part of Earth Hour, a global energy conservation effort organised by the Worldwide Fund For Nature.

There is no internet access at my block and no current supply for the corridor and bathroom for my block on these few days. For me, it seen like Earth Week for all the residants stay in the block same with me. It is really save a much more energy in these few days. No internet access force us to switch off our personal computer due to it is can not study online. And somemore it is also save more water due to no current supply in the bathroom. The period we use to take bath automatic will reduce to the minimum ranges.

So, as my view, this campainge really can fuction if all the people co-operate. But it is not a solution for save our enviloment but it can say is a MOVEMENT to push our lawmakers and educate people that we're all in this together. I think it is imposible for us to save our enviloment unless all the people have a same thinking. So, as a conclude, it is a saving plan instead of a earth hour to safe our enviloment.

Why we must read Al-Quran?

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone. Today I want to ask Muslim, why we read Quran. May be we can't understand a single Arabic word? You can get answer from this beautiful story. Please read till end and forward to all you knows...

An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Qur'an. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to follow him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked,
"Grandpa! I try to read the Qur'an just like you but I don't understand it. What good does reading the Qur'an do?"

The Grandfather didn’t reply but ask his son to take coal basket down to the river and bring it back to him a basket of water. Then, the boy did as he was told. What happened is, before he got back to the house all the water leaked out from the basket. He show to grandfather and he laughed and said, "You'll have to move a little faster next time,"

Grandfather sent his grandson back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. With out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket. Then he went to get a bucket instead. The old man said,
"I don't want a bucket of water, I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough,"

He went out the door to watch the boy try again. At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water still leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty.

Out of breath, he said, "See Grandpa, it’s useless!”
"So you think it is useless?" The old man said, “Look at the basket."

The boy looked at the basket. For the first time he realized that the basket was different. It had been changed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out.

My beloved friends, that's what happens when we read the Qur'an. We might not understand or remember everything, but when we read it, we will be changed, inside and outside. That is the work of Allah in our lives. T think is also going same as others religion. The important thing is we read our holy book or scripture. When we do the good think, our god will appreciate and get good return favour.

How to take care your hair?
We have about 100,000 hairs on our head. Each hair shaft has three layers, with cuticle, or outside layer, protecting the two inner layers. Do you know this? I shall not only try to talk about this thing, but my main aim is to make you all realizing that the best way to protect and take care your hair.
By this reading, I think it can give you and me a big deal to cope the hair falling and make your hair to be shiny always. Actually, how to take care to your hair depends on the type of the hair you have, your lifestyle and how you style your hair.
If you with dry or curly hair, there have different hair care needs than people with straight hair. But all hair needs to be treated gently, especially when it’s wet. Wet hair can be stretch, making it more vulnerable to breakage or cuticle damage. That why using a hot blow-dryer on every wet hair can damage it. If your hair is dry and curly, you are advised that do not to wash your hair frequently or less frequently. Curly and dry hair usually more fragile than straight hair, so you shall be more careful using heat styling products. Shampoos made for dry and curly hair and the hair conditioners can help.
Don’t think that your lifestyle may not influence your hair. Are you preferred for sporting or doing outdoor activities? Then, you are supposed to be more concern to your hair’s health. Often exposure to sun, wind, or other element which may directly affect your hair. A good idea from me is that to wear a hat when you are going to do your outdoor activities.
As an adolescence, I think you might be preferred to style your hair by many types of styling products or even iron the hair from curly to become straight or vice versa. In fact, this totally harms your hair. For my advice, do not use too much of the heat styling products and chemical treatments. Follow the instructions and don’t use them on wet hair or high setting. Give your hair a vacation from styling once in a while. Ask your hair stylist or dermatologist for advice on using heat styling products. From kidshealth.org/teen/your_body/take_care/hair_care.html

Preventing cancer

“Cancer”, I feel a huge horror and terribly even just heard this word. It is a very serious sickness or even there is still no any medicine or therapy is afforded to treat it. It can just lead someone fatal in a short period because it can spread in the human’s body very fast and even nothing can stop its spreading. Due to prevent this horrible sickness exists in someone body, so I have already found some information that prevents the cancer spreading in the human’s body.
Firstly, you are required to pay closed attention for food and nutrition; all this is not only for our health, but also a good way to prevent the terrible cancer. What is supposed to recommend is that consumes energy-dense food and fast-food sparingly, avoid sugary drinks if at all. Avoid salt-preserved, salted, or salty foods; if you really require, then you can preserve food without salt. Next, limit intake of red meat and avoid processed meat. Take the plants or vegetables as more as possible and you are also encouraged to take the vegetables which plants by yourself (original).
Besides, physical activities are also very essential for everyone and it is effective to prevent cancer occur! Be moderately physically active, equivalent to brisk walking, for at least 30 minutes everyday.
Don’t think that all this information is less useful because prevention is better than treatment. Due to our health, we have to concern our lifestyle and pay attention most on our food! Good days to all of you. I just read an article and the title is “Respect Differences” from the star online at the part of lifestyle. I f you are interesting can read through the online newspaper. I’m quite interesting and agree in this article. This article is talking about the impression of parents to children are very important. The children will absorb what parents had done.

In my opinion, parents play an important role in teaching children respect people since they are in youngest age. This is because at youngest age, children is like a “white paper”, they don’t know what is true and what is false, they learn the things from surrounding for example parents, friends, television, internet, and so on. Children will absorb their parents’ attitudes and learn how to love and hate differences in people from observing their parents. So, as parents, we should bring up our children to respect and value people who are different from us and need to practise the good value that we want our children to inherit. In opposite, if the parents don’t know how to respect people and always have prejudices to the people who disabilities, then your child will inherit what they see and hear from their parents, and will act like them when grow up. You want see this happen on your children? If don’t want, better start from now practice the good attitudes and value in front your child.

As a conclusion, if children have positive value and attitudes, they will be accepting and respectful towards people who are different from them. Parents must learn an important lesson together with their children that all people are unique and valuable.

Hello guys...

I just finished reading one interesting book title "what went wrong?" written by Bernard Lewis. This book was written to explain that when historical of Islamic civilization is open back and one by one Muslim people weakness can we find.

Even this book was written after 9/11 event, but the writer not straightly blame Islam overall. He research One by one Muslim people's history to find how a long time ago history influence our generation now.

When Muslim people fall from their era (after khilafah era) is one of the focused in this book. On that generation, one by one Islam's civilization falling but were replaced with spirit and different mould such as Abbasiyah civilization and Mamluk organization.

The most interesting part is when the writer also shared about one weird story which have people choose a powerful religion fail to saved their after generation.

the climax of Islam's civilization fallen is in Khilafah Turki uthamaniyah generation which when their community slowly used west culture to modernize their generation. As a result, in 17 - 18 century, Islam civilization overall changed and influence society thinking and action.

The most noticeable example is the change of arrangement government army (Turkic's Islam). The introduce of "Mardrching band" by sultan Mehmed 2 to Turkic's army and their uniform.

As a conclusion, i suggest all of you to have and read this book. There are have a certain issue that maybe unfair but this is our time to think back and understand what we (Muslim) have lost besides our power 2/3 of world once upon a time. Then, we will be aware about our weakness nowadays.

Why People Smoke?
Why people smoke? Is there any goodness in smoking? Many people start smoking when they are in their teens and are addicted by the time they reach adulthood. Some have tried to quit but have returned to cigarettes because smoking is such a strong addiction. It is a habit that is very difficult to break. There are many different reasons why people smoke.
There are three main reason people smokes people smoke. The first reason is to look mature and macho for the guys. They think they smoke people will respect them and look them as mature guys. But they were wrong. Smoking is the way for them to show off. The second reason is to be like their friends, and to experiment. Since teens see older people all around them smoking, especially their parents and relatives, they smoke to act older. If their friends or peers smoke, they may feel pressured into doing the same to be accepted.
The last factor is the excitement of experimenting with something that is forbidden. In Massachusetts it is against the law for anyone under 18 years old to smoke. Usually parents do not allow their underage teens to smoke. Therefore, smoking becomes very attractive. It is exciting to get cigarettes and sneak away to smoke without being caught.

What Friends Are For?

What friends are for? Have you ever asked this question to yourself?
Actually, there a many things those friends are for. When you are sad, they should be always besides you. Hear your problems, hear you happiness and so on. Friends also will help you with everything. Friends should care about their friend. Care a lot. But are there any good friends of yours that can sacrifice everything for you??
I never heard a friend that can sacrifice themselves for their friend. Some of the friends take the opportunity to make their friend sad and hurt. I mean to make their friend fall. A good friend will not do those things to their friend. A good friend will support his or her friend in every aspect. Except the bad things of course.
There are a lot of friends. But it is hard for us to find a friend to laugh and cry with us….

What is the importance of religion in our social life?
Everyone has a religion. Even they has no religion, they must be something that they believe. What is religion? And what it is for?
Religion actually something that we believe. Especially the presence of god. It is hard to prove the presence of god but we can see the sign if you really believe Him. Religion is not a big matter to the society. Because its belong to the individual. It’s between the individual and the god himself.
Religion helps us to be a discipline and have a good attitude human. Religion changes human. Not human changes the religion. The religion makes us human to be afraid to the power of god. This makes us human have the discipline and limit if we want to do something. Religion is a way of life. And this makes us do what our religion asks us to do. Its not a big thing whether you want it or not. Because its between you and the god.

Today i've read an article that really interesting and i want to share with all of you. It's an article about stress lead to the suicide. Commonly in our country, people who are suicide is youth. Every time they have problem they will only think to take the easy way to settle their problem. The only way that they find is only killing themselves. As for muslim, take away their own life is wrong. They should think any other solution beside taking their own life. In my opinion, people who are taking their own life is a coward. Why?they only want to run away from the reality. As for human being, reality is really hard to face but the difficulties that we went through will matured ourselves. Suicide is not the only way. All the problem have their own solution. Maybe to solve may take sometime, but it doesn't mean that it will never solve. so anytime you have problem, never take the easy way. Facing many difficulties in your life will make you more tougher.

Earth hour: TNB records 550MW drop

KUALA LUMPUR: Although the Earth Hour campaign last Saturday resulted in electricity consumption dipping by 550 megawatt but Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) is not complaining.
Rather, TNB accepted that the hour-long campaign, which began at 8.30pm, was for a good cause.
The 550 megawatt is equivalent to 14 million fluorescent bulbs of 40 watt each.
"While this minor fall in demand will result in a slight shaving of our revenue, we accept that Earth Hour is for a good cause," said TNB president/chief executive officer Datuk Seri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh in a statement here Monday.
He said, during the one-hour period of the energy conservation initiative, TNB staff were extra vigilant, in the event of untoward operational snags.
"Everything went on very smoothly and we were able to respond to the slightly lower demand, without any operational glitch.
"Demand peaked almost rapidly at 9.30pm, to follow the normal Saturday evening demand pattern," added Che Khalib.
He said TNB was surprised by the support and appreciation demonstrated by many of its customers on the worldwide Earth Hour campaign.
The reason I post this article is wish to draw attention in saving the earth. In my opinion, although the Earth Hour campaign is only last for an hour which did not make a big impact in saving the earth, it certainly is a big step in creating awareness among the human population in this world. Also, I hope that all my friends can receive the message delivers in this Earth Hour campaign and be a part in helping to save the earth.

Now i want to share a story with all of you.The title is "sand and stone". Its about two friend in their journey. At some point of the journey, they had an arguments. One friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped write on the sand that 'Today my friend slapped me in the face'. Then they go on the journey and had a bath.During the bath, the one who got slapped started to drowning. Then the friend who slapped his friend earlier saved the other's one life. Then the friend who got slapped and drowning write on the stone that "today my friend saved my life". The friend who slapped asked the other one why he write on the sand when he hurt him and write on the stone when he save him. The one who got slapped say that if someone hurt you, you should write it down in the sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away but if someone doing something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can erase it.

so, from the story, we should take the moral in the story. We should forgive when someone does something bad to us.We should forgive them and remember their good side.

In my opinion, i think that study group is one of the most effective way to study.Through the study group, we will feel really enjoy to study rather than read notes or doing exercise by ourselves. If we don't understand, our friend might know and we can solve it together. Beside, We also can learn by learning problem solving skills. we also can learn teamwork skills. Everyone has their own idea, so we will know how to listen to the others' idea and co-operate with each other. That's kind of style will not us feel bored every time we open the book to study. So find your member quickly to start group study. On how to manage an effective group study, you all can surf internet to find the way to solve it.

Thus, I am figuring out how or what can we do to always stay healthy and reduce the frequency to get sick. In addition, it is also very important for us to keep stay healthy. As we are healthy, we can do lots of things but as we are sick, we can do nothing but just lay on the bed. Many serious diseases are believed begin at a young age. So, what can we do keep ourselves healthy?

For example, we may start from our daily meals first. Eating the right foods and the right amounts of foods can help us live a longer, healthier life. Research has proven that many illnesses—such as diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure can be prevented or controlled by eating right. Getting the nutrients we need, such as calcium and iron can help keeping our weight under control. On the other hand, we should try to balance the calories we get from food with the calories we use through physical activity.

In short, please take good care of yourself by staying healthy! Don’t make your beloved one, your family and friends worry about you. We should keep stay healthy not only for ourselves but also for our beloved one. Starting from now, let us maintain a healthy lifestyle and together hold hands together to decrease the rate of serious diseases which increase tremendously in these days!

RAHMAN Theory becomes fact?

The handover of power from Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will take place after the Prime Minister meets the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on second of April.
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/3/29/nation/3583576&sec=nation

For a long time, many in Umno believed that to become the party president - and thus by tradition the prime minister - your name must start with a letter from the name of the first prime minister.See this list of Malaysian PMs in the last 52 years:
R = TA Rahman
A = Abdul Razak Hussein
H = Hussein Onn
M = Mahathir Mohamad
A = many thought it would be Anwar Ibrahim, then the fast-rising deputy premier. But Abdullah Badawi emerged instead.
And now, to complete it, there is:
N = Najib Razak.

Of course, we can quibble that Datuk Seri Najib's full name is Mohd Najib Abdul Razak, just like we can say that the whole thing is hocus-pocus because the full name of the first PM is actually Tunku Abdul Rahman, not just Rahman.

No matter. This is because the formula has become a "must-follow" magical prophecy in Umno circles. That was why, when Anwar was pushing to change the govt by Sept 16 last year, many in Umno had said quietly that this would not happen, simply because after the "A" comes the "N".
Some supporters of Anwar argued jokingly then that RAHMAN could perhaps be stretched a little to become RAHMAAN - the extra "A" to slot in Anwar. And who knows, they argued jokingly, the N could then be filled up by Anwar's daughter Nurul Izzah!

Today, some naughty voices are whispering that the whole RAHMAN thing remains a Theory still until April 3, when Mr Najib is expected to be sworn in as Prime Minister by the Malaysian King. So now that the Theory is as good as Fact (well, almost), where do we go? Must we now find another magical term and say that all future PM's must come from this lineage of letters? Do we start a NAJIB Theory? Or do we stick with a New RAHMAN?To the opposition, who thinks they will form the government after the next general elections - to be held by 2013 - this is irrelevant.

Speaking about the rise of Mr Najib, veteran opposition leader Lim Kit Siang said in a speech this month (march): "This also raises the question whether the 'N' in the most famous political prophecy in the country, RAHMAN about the first six Prime Ministers in the country, has a double meaning. That it signifies Najib as Prime Minister after Tunku Abdul Rahman, Razak, Hussein Onn, Mahathir and Abdullah, but it also marks the 'end' of the line of Umno Prime Ministers, UMNO hegemony and Umno government in the next 13th general election."
Mr Najib knows that he has a hard slog ahead to ensure that Mr Lim’s prophecy does not come true. Anyway, in my opinion, peace of country is much more important than anything. In the same time, the person will be a good Prime Minister if he or she can handle all the country issue well.

Let’s Recycle!!

Today, let’s us concern about our mother of nature. In this article, F&N Coca-Cola (M) Sdn Bhd (F&NCC) and the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) are holding hands together to organize a three-month recycling campaign. The campaign is mainly to revive the spirit of recycling among the school children. The managing director of the F&NCC think that the habits of recycling should be practiced from young so they can be trained to be a responsible citizens in future.

These days, environmental problems have become so complicated that many individuals feel they have no effect on them. Problems like pollutions, global warming, hazardous waste, loss of rain forests, endangered species, acid rain and the municipal waste crisis can feel out of our control already. Generally, these problems require group and corporate action or government intervention. However, there some things that individual can control. Waste reduction and recycling activities may make a difference to this problem.

Before talk about the importance and benefits of recycling and its relation to a better environmental condition, it is essential for us to understand what is recycling. Recycling refers to the process of collecting used materials into new products in order to prevent waste of potentially useful materials. Recycling is important as it can help to save environmental conditions and reduces pollution.

You can make a different by take part in the recycling activities too! So, let’s save our mother of nature from danger and keep ourselves in a healthy and environmental friendly surrounding. If you haven’t taken a proper action for recycling, please start doing it from now! One may contribute less but when whole of us cooperate to contribute in the recycling activities then it will sure bring changes to our environmental problem.

I have reading one article about thymoma. Thymoma is disease in which cancer cells are found in the tissues of the thymus, the small organs lies under the breastbone. Thymus makes white blood cells called lymphocytes, which travel through the body and fight infection. Commonly, people who suffer thymoma having other diseases in their immune system like myasthenia gravis which the muscles are weak. People with thymoma often suffer pain in chest. Thymoma can be treated using three kinds of treatments depending on the stage of the cancer whether it is just in the thymus or has spread to other places, the types of cells found in the cancer, and the patient's general state of health. The treatments are using surgery, radiation therapy and hormone therapy. Surgery is done to remove the tumor while radiation therapy is using high-dose x-rays to kill the cancer cells and hormone therapy is done to stop the cancer cells from growing using hormones. Unluckily, not all patients are cured with standard therapy and some standard treatments may have more side effects than are desired.
Many diseases such as cancer are hard to cure. Although u will cure .The process u pass through such as radiation therapy is suffer. If can try to live with healthy body. As my friends say a day an apple keep the doctor away. Although we are busy with homework ,test , assignment and Quiz but we take care our self carefully. If not, when demon(diseases) coming. Friendship is a most beautiful thing happened to human being. Many poets have described friendship as one of the most fascinating bond in our life and the most beautiful thing happens to us. As I read an article about tips for a special friendship. Firstly, we should praise my friend for what he or she is good at. Then don't proved him wrong in public to prevent the feeling of hatred by himself. Next try to understand my friend thought. If he has any problem, we should ask him and help him if we supposed to. We need to pull our friend away from making any mistakes. In other words, we should not let him to do what is surely wrong for him.
Another tip is try to teach good thing. As mentioned we must try to not disturb their personal life. Most important point that we should take care of is to not interfere in his life if he don't want me to do so. As a good friend we supposedly not to interfered in his life. By follow these tips on article. I am sure we can make many best friends in our school life even after we graduated. Although sometime lonely is good for us. Nowadays, we always exposed with the issues of child abuse. What makes this situation happened in our society? Did child are really protected? Where’s a parents role?? What will happen for our next generation if there is no prevention of these issues?
From the article that I read, Child abuse is the physical mistreatment of children. Most child abuse happens in a child's home, with a smaller amount occurring in the organizations, schools or communities the child interacts with. There are four major categories of child abuse: neglect, physical abuse, psychological or emotional abuse, and sexual abuse. Child abuse is a complex problem which has multiple causes. Understanding the causes of abuse is crucial to addressing the problem of child abuse. Parents who physically abuse their spouses are more likely to physically abuse their children. Victims of childhood abuse also suffer from different types of physical health problems later on in life.
Hence, all the responsibility we must have is try to be good parent. If got any problem between husband and wife just try to solve it quietly. Don’t interrupt children. The easy way is if one of the parent got emotion problem don’t even try to have children. It is for the family good. On the hand, as good parent must always take care about children daily life. Always communicated with them to make sure they are safe from society.

Assalamualaikum and hello everybody.Todat,i would like to share some new information about asthma.i had read something on wikipedia and reader digest last edition. It is all about asthma.
Based on wikipedia, asthma means a chronic lung disease. It has been defined by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute as a common chronic disorder of the airways that is complex and characterized by variable and recurring symptoms, airflow obstruction, bronchial hyperresponsiveness (bronchospasm), and an underlying inflammation. The interaction of these features of asthma determines the clinical manifestations and severity of asthma and the response to treatment.
In a study of more than 2000 children, scientists from the University of Michigan and their European Colleagues have found genetic markers strongly associated with the risk of childhood-onset asthma. Children with these markers had higher blood levels of a gene called ORMDL3, which is also true of children with asthma. The study suggests the disease associated form of the gene increases asthma risk by 60% to 70%. Although childhood asthma treatments now focus on allergic responses since most children with asthma also have many allergies. Researchers propose their discovery could lead to new asthma therapies, such as targeting the gene with drugs. We can see how far our medication goes on. So, there have no reason why asthma can not be cure.

Salt Can Be Bad For Kids Too

High blood pressure in children has doubled in the last 20 years and it could be due to too much salt. A recent survey of studies showed that reducing children’s salt intake can lower their blood pressure, which in turn lowers the risk of heart disease later in life.
Processed food is a major culprit, though it’s now easier to find lower salt content products (check the label). A six year old should have no more than 3g of salt a day.
So try to limit intake to 1g for each main meal and avoid adding salt when cooking. Why should we take extra salt? Everyone knows that extra salt can give us more disease. Remember that the prevention is better than cure.

Calcium is one of the important mineral to get healthy teeth and strong bone.Below of the different forms of calcium that you can choose from when shopping for your supplements:
1. Calcium Citrate: This form of calcium is a bit expensive, but it is one that most doctors and nutritionists highly recommend. It is made up of 21% elemental calcium and dissolves very easily when ingested. Most people absorb the majority of calcium that comes in these tablets before it leaves the stomach. In addition, calcium citrate is an excellent supplement for older men and women because it dissolves easily and the elderly have less stomach acids to break down anything that is ingested.
2. Calcium Phosphate: Another name for calcium phosphate is “tribasic” calcium phosphate. It is made up of 39% elemental calcium and comes with extra phosphorus that you probably do not need.
3. Calcium Glubionate: Calcium glubionate is generally a rare choice of supplementation that doctors prescribe. It is made up of only 6.5% elemental calcium and you would need to take an extraordinary amount each day just to reach your bodily needs. In addition, it can be very expensive.
4. Calcium Lactate: This is a very common form of calcium that is found in the supplement isle in health food stores. Like most calcium supplements, it is a bit on the pricey side, but it does digest easily and is readily available. However, it is only made up of 13% elemental calcium.
5. Calcium Carbonate: This is by far the most inexpensive form of calcium supplementation that you will find. And in addition to being cheap, it also has 40% elemental calcium. However, there is one major drawback and that is how slow calcium carbonate digests in the body. Because of slow abortion it may not be absorbed to its fullest potential. You can find this form of calcium in a product such as “Tums” and similar generic types.
To get enough calcium, we must take this mineral every day. We can just simply take this mineral when shopping for supplements. We also can get it from eating fruit or vegetable that contain calsium.

Study Tips for Midterms & Finals

Ark, exams are coming! Stress!
Time management. Plan, plan, plan. Before finals begin, get out your calendar and schedule as much of your finals week as possible. Then stick with the schedule.
Schedule in study breaks. Don't plan to study non-stop for the next five days. You'll go insane, and you'll be too fried to do well on the exams. When you write your schedule, include short study breaks to help you recharge. You'll feel so much better and will be able to concentrate so much more. Here's some suggestions for great study breaks.
Schedule in sleep. Some people can function well on three hours of sleep a night. Most cannot. You'll do much better during exams if your mental state is good, and sleep is essential for this.
Exercise. There's no better source for stress relief. Just don't overdo it to the point that you're procrastinating heavily. Go for short, stress-relieving activities, like racquetball or a treadmill run. And don't underestimate the value of a brisk walk.
Prioritize. You have limited time to study and will have to choose what to spend the most time with. You could spend hours and hours on that math exam because if you do really well, you might be able to pull of a C. Or you can spend hours and hours on a history exam because if you do well, you've got a good shot at an A. It's up to you.
Form effective study groups. Just don't waste your time with lousy ones. Here are some tips for effective study groups.
Free your schedule. As much as possible, eliminate other responsibilities. Work fewer hours. Put off social events. Definitely put off shopping.
Ask your professor for help. If you're confused about your notes or the readings, go to the resident expert. This works much better if you don't put off studying until the last minute. It's a good idea to read through all of your notes before you start to study, so that you can inquire early about things that confuse you.
Keep things in perspective. What's the worst thing that can happen if you don't do well on this test? Excessive stress will make you crazy and hurt your performance on tests, so as much as you can, relax. And if you're having serious problems with anxiety during final exams, seek help at your school's counselling centre. This is a common problem that schools are well equipped to help you with.
Good luck and all the best to my entire friend.

10 tips for better sleep

If you're having trouble sleeping, change your sleep habits for a better night's rest.

1. Go to bed and get up at about the same time every day, even on the weekends. Sticking to a schedule helps reinforce your body's sleep-wake cycle and can help you fall asleep better at night.
2. Don't eat or drink large amounts before bedtime. Eat a light dinner about two hours before sleeping. If you're prone to heartburn, avoid spicy or fatty foods, which can make your heartburn flare and prevent a restful sleep. Also, limit how much you drink before bed. Too much liquid can cause you to wake up repeatedly during the night for trips to the bathroom.
3. Avoid nicotine, caffeine and alcohol in the evening. These are stimulants that can keep you awake. Smokers often experience withdrawal symptoms at night, and smoking in bed is dangerous. Avoid caffeine for eight hours before your planned bedtime. Your body doesn't store caffeine, but it takes many hours to eliminate the stimulant and its effects. And although often believed to be a sedative, alcohol actually disrupts sleep.
4. Exercise regularly. Regular physical activity, especially aerobic exercise, can help you fall asleep faster and make your sleep more restful. Don't exercise within three hours of your bedtime, however. Exercising right before bed may make getting to sleep more difficult.
5. Make your bedroom cool, dark, quiet and comfortable. Create a room that's ideal for sleeping. Adjust the lighting, temperature, humidity and noise level to your preferences. Use blackout curtains, eye covers, earplugs, extra blankets, a fan, a humidifier or other devices to create an environment that suits your needs.
6.Sleep primarily at night. Daytime naps may steal hours from nighttime slumber. Limit daytime sleep to about a half-hour and make it during midafternoon. If you work nights, keep your window coverings closed so that sunlight, which adjusts the body's internal clock, doesn't interrupt your sleep. If you have a day job and sleep at night, but still have trouble waking up, leave the window coverings open and let the sunlight help wake you up.
7.Choose a comfortable mattress and pillow. Features of a good bed are subjective and differ for each person. But make sure you have a bed that's comfortable. If you share your bed, make sure there's enough room for two. Children and pets are often disruptive, so you may need to set limits on how often they sleep in bed with you.
8.Start a relaxing bedtime routine. Do the same things each night to tell your body it's time to wind down. This may include taking a warm bath or shower, reading a book, or listening to soothing music. Relaxing activities done with lowered lights can help ease the transition between wakefulness and sleepiness.
9.Go to bed when you're tired and turn out the lights. If you don't fall asleep within 15 to 20 minutes, get up and do something else. Go back to bed when you're tired. Don't agonize over falling asleep. The stress will only prevent sleep.
10.Use sleeping pills only as a last resort. Check with your doctor before taking any sleep medications. He or she can make sure the pills won't interact with your other medications or with an existing medical condition. Your doctor can also help you determine the best dosage. If you do take a sleep medication, reduce the dosage gradually when you want to quit, and never mix alcohol and sleeping pills. If you feel sleepy or dizzy during the day, talk to your doctor about changing the dosage or discontinuing the pills.

If you're having problems sleeping more than three times a week for a month's time, see your doctor. You could have a sleep disorder, such as obstructive sleep apnea or restless legs syndrome. Identifying and treating the cause of your sleep disturbance can help get you back on the road to a

Malaysia needs to publish a lot more books

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has to publish 27,000 book titles for general reading annually to become a knowledgeable, developed nation and be on par with other developed countries, Malaysian Book Contractors Association President Hasan Hamzah said.
He said that in countries like Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden and Germany, the ratio was 1,000 book titles to one million populations.
“Hence, Malaysia has to publish 27,000 book titles for its 27 million populations a year,” he said, adding that such an effort would require an allocation of about RM300mil.
Hasan said Malaysia currently published only 10,000 book titles every year, which is still very far behind from that in other developed countries.
Most of the books found in Malaysia were imported ones, despite the country having many local intellectuals, including about 350,000 teachers and more than 40,000 lecturers or professors, who were capable of producing books for general reading, he added.
However, he said it was not because there were not many locally-published books that reading was not a habit among Malaysians.
“Actually, our society loves knowledge and they like to read. It is because the books are expensive to buy,” he added.
Hasan said that for a book to be sold cheap, a publisher had to print at least 3,000 copies for each book title a year.
There would be an increase in demand for general books with support from the government through provision of special allocations for publication of books for general reading, he added.

In my opinions, to make Malaysia become one of the developed countries, reading habit should be cultivate among each of the citizen in Malaysia since from young. Also, government should give support to promote the publication of locally-published books.

SMILE...

A smile is a facial expression formed by flexing those muscles most notably near both ends of the mouth. The smile can also be found around the eyes. In my opinion, smiling makes us feel good although we are face any problems. With smile we can release our tension also.

It also puts other people at ease and makes them like us more. So, many people want to close us to be our friends and at that time we can get more friends around us. In conclusion, smiling can make our life more beautiful and cheerful. So, smile always. That's all from me...(^-^)

hi everyone...

TEN WAYS TO RELEASE OUR TENSION...

Here I want to share about the ways to release our tension because to look at the situation of students now include me, feel so tension with more assignments, test and others before we face the final examination for this semester.

There are ten ways to release our tension :-

1) Breathing Techniques
- Try to focus on our breathing. Then, take slow and deep breaths. When we exhale, we need imagine that all our tensions and negativity inside the body is slowly moving out of our body, then our muscles are relaxing. Focus on every part of our body and feel the same. This way we will increase our mind and body awareness.

2) Exercise
- Exercise for at least 20 minutes a day. We know that, when we do a stretching, it will reduce our mental and physical stress, tensions and anxiety.

3) Laughter
- Laughter is the best medicine for all our tensions because it helps in cutting down our stress. It reduces stress hormones like adrenaline (epinephrine) and cortisol. It also helps in our immune system by increasing the number of our Natural Killer T-cells. These help in defending viral attacks and damaged cells. So we need smile and always try to be happy.

4) A Massage
- A good massage helps in relaxing our muscles and a deep tissue massage helps in relaxing our muscle fibers. During the massage, we need to focus on our breathing technique which is also as important as relaxing our muscles.

5) Listening to music
- Listening to our favorite number will help in reducing stress and anxiety. If we love music, try to go for our favorite music. The sounds soothes our tension and normalize our blood pressure and stress. Then we should try to pay attention on how we feel when we hear some particular song or music.

6) Bath or sauna
- A hot shower will help us in relieving our sore muscles and joints. Besides, it will also help in reducing our stress and tension and will help in a good night's sleep. We also can add more techniques to make our bath so relaxing.

7) A Cup of tea
- Regularly drinking tea can help in strengthening our immune system. It helps in our immune system and our ability to fight off germs and infections. Green and black teas both have a beneficial amino acid called L-theanine which can increase the infection fighting capacity of gamma delta T cells. L-theanine helps in relaxation and calmness.

8) Positive thinking
- If we think optimistically about something that we want to solve, this will help in reducing stress, tension and anxiety. Often this is how we perceive things. Then, if we keep our attitude positive, we will find good in what life throws our way and probably we will always see at the bright side of things that will enhance our ability to effectively manage our stress.

9) Take a walk
- The best thing we can enjoy to do to relieve our stress is go outside for some fresh air. Just a stroll around can help us. Then, if some limitations keep our indoors, try climbing stairs, or moving parts of our leg and arm muscles. This will help in increasing our blood circulation.
