For me, they just hurting them self, Without considering the effects on their body. Maybe they think that they will have a beautiful body with doing all that. But for me, the most important thing is how do you love your partner. Because of you she or her is or because of he or her body looks like. That is my opinion. For me,to have a self confidence is more important than to have a beauty looks. The beauty would not last long. Everyone will be getting older and the beauty also will gone. But self confidence will help you with almost everything in this world. It help us to achieve something in our life.So what's the use of the beauty. Sometimes, people will be ego and will not respect others who doesnt have the physical beauty. And because of it, people will forgot other people feeling.

For this comment, we need to choose whether we prefer the beauty or the confidence.
Firstly, I would like to tell about my understanding about the meaning of beauty and confidence.
I think beauty is the word that shows the physical appearance of something or someone. Its also show the attraction of the thing or someone towards other person when look at it. Sometimes, people will admired the things or the person because it will rise others desire and come out with love.
Confident is a word that shows the adjective of a person which is high self-esteem. It shows how brave the person is and also show the person have the courage to take action by itself.
As for me, the beauty is not important as confidence. Firstly, this is because when the person is only beauty but have no confidence inside him or herself, it will mess up thing such as the person will not be able to talk or discuss anything with us without we start it first. This will make both feel uncomfortable when seeing each other. So, its not a good way to have a dream partner like him or she and also for ourselves.
Secondly, when the person only has beauty and no confidence at all, he or she will not able to present in front of others. This is because they have no courage and bravery to talk in front crowd. They will feel uneasy and the fear will take over the place.
Finally, if the person only have confidence, he or she will easily be recognized by others. This is because, for me, when the person can talk and communicate to others easily and confidence when talking, others will pay more attention towards he or she. So, the beauty is not the most important than confidence.
For the conclusion, the confidence is the most important things than beauty. Thus, people need to improve their confidence rather than improving the beauty that shouldn't be done for Islamic people.

Well,for me it's depend on the situation.What i can say is beauty is very important in human life.Every single person on this earth want the beauty.But it will come to us in different way.For some people,the beauty will come directly to their physical attraction and that's their asset to be famous.
But for others,the beauty is coming from another way such as the confidence.I had a friend,a girl,what i can say,in early day at secondary school,this girl is never had the opportunity to get the attraction of the boys maybe because her attraction of physical did not match the criteria of the boys,but then when she started join the debate and public speaking,with a lot of confidence lies in her speech,well suddenly i felt that the beauty is coming through her,so that's the way of her beauty to appeared.
So what i want to say is,beauty is an abstract word,every person have their own meaning of beauty,so for me,which one will i choose between beauty or confidence,absolutely confidence will be my main choice.Just i said earlier,the beauty will come just from your confidence.

Beauty or confidence?This is a quite interesting topic.But for me,i will choose confidence.It remind me what my school teacher says,confidence is a basics of your survival both at work and at home and it's also will forms the basics of everything else in your world.
Why i say confidence important than beauty?We can see that a confidence person gets all attention.People like to be around and look up them because they believe in themselves and have the courage to solve any problem and deals with anything that thrown in their way.Person who has a confidence also can be a better friends and partners.They are often better to separate their time between work and family.This will allow for more balance and harmony relationship with family and friends.
So confidence is the most important than beauty.For us as a person who want to achieve personal and professional success,we need confidence to achieve what we want not necessary beauty.

Which one that are important. In my opinion, i think that between the two of them, i prefer to choose confident. beauty is not what you look like but it most of what you think of. Have you ever heard a said that say 'Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder'Beauty is something that very subjectives. mybe you and your friends view about beauty is different. But confident is something inside yourself. People always says that once you are beautiful, then you will be confident. For me, it is yourself who decide whether you are confident or not. it does not have any matter with your beauty. Maybe beauty is one part of that. But trust me, even you have beauty but you didn't have courage in yourself to express your beauty, then your beauty is just a waste. In finding my dream partner, i better find someone that have confident in himself rather than someone with good looking but when talk in front of others he can faint. Can you imagine your dream partner shaking and nervous when proposed to you. sure you don't want someone who propose to you in that way. You will feel not secure with his love right.It is not important to find the beauty one but cannot give you happiness. Better for you to find someone that can give you happiness and you will feel comfortable by your side.

First of all, i would like to enlighten on how person judge the words beauty and confidence. Some people said that confidence has nothing to do with looks as beauty do. You can be confident about your looks, but that's not all there is. Being beautiful is about loving yourself, make yourself more attractive and smart by dressing up yourself.
Before,i had read the story about a man who has a big nose and he used to be really self-conscious about his nose.He thought he had the absolute worst nose on the Earth.He wouldn't smile because it made his nose even bigger.Then his mom told him that a real friend will not choose a friends by judging his appearance.So he started smiling and showing confidence,and you know what,he made new friends,and he was so suprised that his life change to the happiest life.I never say that beauty is not important at all,but if Allah give us how we have now, just be thankful.Just taking care of our body,make sure its always clean and health,it is enough.Gained a ton of confidence and can be happy is better than suffering yourself to get the beauty.

Firstly, confidence is playing an important role for a student in their journey to success which in other word is called self-confidence. Self-confidence is extremely important in almost every aspect of our lives, yet so many people struggle to find it. People who lack of self-confidence might find it difficult to become successful. Besides, self-confidence may also help to shape out a smart appearance or outlook of a person and meanwhile help them to perform well in whatever task that they are work on. For example, a person who equipped with self-confidence may come out with an excellent presentation as they believe on their own ability.
Self-confidence perhaps is one of the important aspects that a student should be equipped with. I as a student, self-confidence is very important as can help to built up a great personality of myself. With ourselves equipped with self-confidence, we will be more willing to take risks and go to extra miles to achieve better things. Thus, we will be more easily to hit our target of everything. On the other hand, confidence is also very helpful once we need to speak up or present in crowd. We may have more courage to speak up and can speak confidently in front.
In short, low self-confidence can be self-destructive, and it often manifests itself as negativity. Nevertheless, self-confident people are generally more positive as they believe in themselves and their abilities, and they also believe in the wonders of living life to the full. So, which one are you guys prefer? To be less self-confidence or more self-confidence? We should choose the correct path for ourselves to the journey of success. Be more confident – It’s the key of the success!
Beauty or confidence?
If I were to choose between beauty to confidence, I do not know how to choose. As you know, everyone loves beauty, especially in the physical appearance. They will do anything and everything in order to make themselves look pretty from head to toe. When a person looks pretty, he/she will have confidence in whatever he/she does. Therefore, I think I can’t live without any of these two features. When I think myself look pretty, I will have confidence. However, if I were given the ability to choose between these two, I would choose beauty because I think confidence comes after beauty. Beauty can make a person looks attractive. When a person is praised for his/her beautifulness, that person’s confidence will automatically increase and this is also why some people becomes ego and over-confident.
I believe that the first thing most people will look for in their dream partners is their physical appearances. If a person looks ugly, no one would be attracted or even bother to look at that person no matter how high his/her self-esteem is. When I am attracted by my dream partner’s physical attraction, then I’ll try to understand his beauty on the inside. However, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. In reality, it’s more important to look for a dream partner with good characteristics. A person’s beauty is more important on the inside rather than on the outside.
Last week, as you know our essay test was about the ‘corset’ and the ‘foot binding’. In this era, we definitely would think that people who wore corsets and did foot binding were crazy and it’s totally nonsense. If we were brought back to those days life, I believe that 90% of us would do exactly like what they did just for one reason, which is to look beautiful and attractive. Although it was very torturing and suffering to wear the corsets and foot binding, we could see that their obsession in ignoring the pain and suffer just to achieve their ultimate desire, that is beauty. Therefore, I think beauty really matters most and I would prefer beauty to confidence in my life.

Undeniably, from the two articles, they are obsessed by the ultimate desire of beauty. In reality, we do hard to get or choose an absolutely correct choice either beauty or confidence. Perhaps, in different aspects, for different people, the choice for sure is discrepant. I can be sure that there is a big part of people will take beauty as their main choice and just leave few to choose confidence is the main part. There is no right or even wrong to do a decision for this interesting or meaningful topic. Beauty is a quality present in a thing or person gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind. A great amount of youngsters are willing to sacrifice everything, indeed, their money, time or even precious beloved one due to ‘chase’ the word of beauty. Indeed, the physical-look or physical attraction is a vital part as a representation of appearance for a person. Some of us may also get an idea, if a person was without a good appearance, then who would be going to concern his or her internality (internal beauty)?
The role of beauty to represent a person’s externality is really essential; this is one of a part thing that we cannot deny it at all.
What I have mentioned is, there is discrepancy among the humans, of course the aspect of thinking especially. For me, self-esteem or which is called confidence plays the main role in all my life. I really need to know, there are how many people is considered beautiful, pretty or handsome or else congenitally? If a person without appearance or externality, is he or she not ought to come to this world? Impossibly, all of the externality is fixed and it is fated. Inevitably, me, is one of the guy who has no extraordinary appearance, that is the reason why I alter my internality and self-esteem, to make myself more nicer and better. I am not going to have a perfect or extraordinary dream partner, if that person was good in personality and characteristics, no matter that my dream partner is very outstanding or very ordinary, it is not a big deal again.
Self-esteem or I call it self-confidence in better to understand and clarify. Try to think, if a girl was very pretty and had a perfect externality, unfortunately, she had no confidence to speak or talk in front of public induced to be silent herself, then how are you going to evaluate the “attraction” from that girl? It is hard to get a corresponding answer. On the other hand, if a boy had just a very ordinary look, but he was confident to himself no matter go to wherever and whenever, he believed that his externality was the God to vouchsafe to him and full of gratitude to his parents. Then, how about your opinion now?
A person full of deep confident can refresh other people and they will evaluate him or her in other aspect but it is not thoroughly dependent to the physical attraction. Confidence can build up someone with perfect and excellent personality and also internality. A person who full of confident, I can be sure and certain that he or she can achieve his or her dreams and aims out of the fixed range or limitation!

First of all, before I state my decision, I would like to brief what do I think on beauty and confidence. Basically, beauty is a subjective description as everyone have different opinion on how they describe the beauty of things or person. To me, I will consider the beauty not by judging the book by its cover. So, I would definitely say that confidence is very important and the one I look most in myself and so for my dream partner. This is because confidence may enhance the beauty of a person as it shows their ability to face any challenge. It also help us not to be awkward when we are facing the crowd. It is normal if you are not beautiful but you have a very high self confidence rather than having beauty without confidence. As a conclusion, beauty comes with confidence. The confidence without beauty is normal but in contrast, beauty can’t survive without confidence.

Because, i believe that when there are confidence, automatically there is a beauty inside our self. It was very confusing between choosing beauty and confidence. As a normal person normally they will choose both because as a human we are care for our look such as beauty. Because of beauty so in long time ago, foot binding was introduced to all of girls. It is painful for the girls, it just make them suffer and pain because wanna to be beauty only. We are scared living in no confidence life and have to facing many types of peoples because we are shy to do it. In my opinion, confident is more important than beauty. Actually people who have confident is more beautiful than someone beauty. Confident is something you can improve everyday without use money. There are many ways to improve our self to be confident. It free of charge. Compared with beauty, we need to use lots of money to look beautiful. We need to buy accessories to wear to look beautiful. Beauty is not everything. Beauty just a packaged. But if we do not have confident to communicate or social with another people, that the bad things in our life.
In our field, as enggineer, company always find someone that have confident in many aspet especially in communication. beauty in not the main thing in enggineering field. So try to be more confident to look beautiful.

I thought about this a week ago but until now it seems that i still cannot make any decision. As for me, both beauty and confidence are equally important. There are times in some situations beauty is needed to have confidence. But in other times, confidence is more needed to have a natural beauty.
How hypocrite i am if i said that beauty is nothing compared to confidence. To all the ladies out there, i want to ask each of you a simple question. Do you ever go to classes or hang out without looking at a mirror first? You would answer no right? why it this happening? in point of view, i think when we looked into the mirror and feels okey about it, so we would gain confidence to walk out. But if we were rushing and we we are out of time to take a glimpse into the mirror, we would walk out and find something that can make a mirror. Then, we will stop for a while to start touching up or else we would busying ask our friend that "do i look okey?"
I couldn't help it but i think I'm right. So, how can you all said beauty is nothing than confidence? beauty brings out confidence.
But in certain cases, when we feels nervous about something, i choose confidence over beauty. Beauty cannot help us to answer interview's question confidently or even speak fluently in front of public. Therefore, there are times like this when confidence is needed to be nurtured within us. so that, beauty solely won't help us to have a great confidence.

Based on the question, beauty or confidence, which one is important?Hmm... its hard to answer because both are important.However i would like to choose confidence as the most important character that we must have in our self.Why?here are the reasons.
self-confidence is one of the aspect that people will look at us.For example, if we are in a place that is so strange to us, we have to find friends.So, with self confidence we will be brave to greet unknown people and then being their friend.For those who study in overseas they must have strong self-confidence to help them to survive in other country.

First of all, let us see what is beauty and what is confidence? Whereas confidence is generally described as a state of being certain either that a hypothesis or prediction is correct or that a chosen course of action is the best or most effective. Actually it is very hard to choose between beauty and confidence because both criteria is important to a person. Each person have their own beauty and own confidence.One without any of one criteria is not a complete person.
For me, If I am ask to choose between beauty and confidence, I would rather choose confidence.To make my comment more stronger, I did a survey among few students from UMP regarding this interesting issue and to my expectations, the answers was quite interesting because all are from different aspect of thinkings. 99% of them said they would choose confidence rather than beauty. Why I choose confidence is that to live a good life one must have confidence rather that beauty. Not all those are beautiful are successfull and those without confidence are successfull either. High self-esteem is one of the important criteria that really shapes the humans characteristics.
It is true that beauty can boost one's self-confidence to be more greater, but without any confidence in a person, the beauty is nothing. All of us have heard that confidence can lead us to the success path, but have anyone have heard that beauty can lead to a success path?? scope beauty is subjective. but, from this blog, beauty is only consider to face. as we know, this beauty is not everlasting. it will gone when we are old. to maintain it, we should do many ways like plastic surgery, by using cosmetic or botox. this all only waste our money! that is why i choose a person who has confidence as my dream partner.
we cannot buy confidence. it come automatically in ourselves and become everlasting. save our money and not be pressure about it. with confidence, we can do any work without get any problems.

We know that beauty is not everlasting because everyone will be getting older and the beauty also will gone. Besides, although someone have good looking which can attract other people to close her or him, but it not use and nothing if we don't have confidence in ourselves.

For me the perfect match is self comfidence.Physical appearance such as beauty cannot maintain after ten or twenty year.If u choose beauty as your partner, can u accept that beauty?
