Congratulation, Anis! It seems like you are the first to post from your class.

Yes, I agree with you that there are many values in the series. But could you tell us any of the stories you have read and explain as well the values you have learnt in that story? For example you can go and read the comments from the students in section P14 and E07 on what they have read and learnt.

To the rest of the class who haven’t post anything yet, what are you waiting for? August is leaving. Time is running out.

assalamualaikum and hello to everyone...

actually,i very like to read something that i think it can give the good values to me...
for the example,i like to read or watch the thriller story from the novel, article, short story or other books.

when i watch the long khong movie...i think the movie have a lot of the part of suspened, more action thriller and some times so nonsense....although i like this story, but at the same time,i think it not suitable to all people...
may be,certain people think that is the best way to solve their problem although that a wrong way...

besides, children also not suitable to watch this movie because i think it can give the bad effect to our life....so better we just watch it as fun....

that's all...
thank you.... =)

Assalamualaikum..

Last week, I bought CLEO magazine and I really love to read the article about the parents having affairs. There is a story about a girl who can not accept that her father having affair with a woman at the office. She knows her father having affair after she heard a conversation that not related to the work.

She refuses to tell her mother about that problem. She did not want her parents get divorce. She pity on her mother. She is only 15 and it supposedly not happens to her.
I think, a parent is a role model to their children and they should show good behaviors and attitude. I’m sure that every one of us doesn’t want anything like this happens.

What will happens to my family if my parents having affair.. oh, hopefully I will not involve in this problem. So, let’s stay in love with our family.

JOHOR BARU: Whether as workers or homemakers, women in this country have shown themselves to be vital to the country's economy, the prime minister said.(News Strait Times August 26,2008)

I'm interested with this issue because I'm agree with our Prime Minister,Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's statement. It's true.Women nowadays are very active than men not just in our country, but whole of the world.

For examples,Bank Negara governor Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz and Securities Commission chairman Datuk Zarinah Anwar were our Malaysian women who had won world recognition as among the best in their fields.

Besides that,we can see that women outnumbered men at universities, and outperformed them academically, winning most excellence awards at convocation ceremonies.

It's true right...(^__^)

best regards to everyone...
i read less book recently...
so, i'll tell you about one special book that i love very much.. my auntie gave it to me years ago..
it is entitled the wonderful story of henry sugar..actually there are also other short stories in the book. before i forget, the author is Roald Dahl.. I love the way he wrote the story, it really mesmerize me and got my full attention. Best lesson i acquire from this book is, use your ability in a good way..
for example, henry learn an ability that can make him see with blinded eyes, but he used it in a wrong way..in the end, his life was not relaxing after all, but before he died, he came to his senses and donate the money to an orphanage. there was also a scene when henry throw away his money outside the balcony to the people at the streets..you know, when you did something bad, you will definitely feel uncomfortable, especially for a good people like me...=p

Assalamualaikum!
I'm back....
In this comment I want to tell
about the books that I like the most...
It was my collection of Harry Potter books from the first to the end...
I like to read these novels because,of course I love harry potter and his friends...
And mostly, I love the journey of this boy from the beginning until the end..If I want to write the whole story in this blog it will take a long and more space to write...so, I will tell 2 moral values that I had learn from these 7 novels....
These novels gives me a lot of moral values whin I read them....
And for me,I found that courage is the most important moral value in these 7 novels...
Harry Potter was a brave boy and he's never give up when he facing some difficulties....Especially when facing lord voldermont...
Then,I learn that friendship is the most important thing in ourlives...
Without friends,we will be alone in thse world...
We will never have someone to help us when we facing some problems...
If you had seen the film in cinema,it had been shown that Harry,Ron,and Hermoine had a very strong relationship...They will face the problems together and always backing up to each other...
I think that's all for now...
if I had read a book or an article maybe I can post it later in this blog...

Assalamualikum...
During the holiday, I've read a novel. The title of the novel is The Pearl by John Steinbeck. I was borrow the story book from my brother. The story is so good and fun. The story is like this...

Kino, his wife and son lived in a brush house in a Mexican fishing settlement. Kino is also a pearl fisher. One morning, a scorpion stings Coyotito, Kino and Juana's son. Kino and Juana go to the doctor in town to seek treatment for their son. However, the doctor refuses to treat Coyotito because he knows Kino will not be able to pay.
So Kino goes pearl fishing in the hope to find a pearl that would pay for his son treatment. Kino is lucky to find a big pearl as seagull's egg.
The doctor and the priest visit Kino, each having plans on the pearl. The pearl buyers all get together to cheat Kino by buying the pearl at a very low price. Kino refuses to sell the pearl.
Also, there are others who want to steal the pearl. Juana realize that the pearl can bring in more problems and hardship and tries to throw the pearl into the sea but failed.
Kino kills a man who tries to steal the pearl. Kino's house is burnt and his canoe destroyed. Kino and his family are followed by a tracker on horse-back and two others on foot.
When Kino is trapped in the mountain with his family, he decided to kill the trackers. One of them accidentally shoots and kills Coyotito.
Kino and Juana return with dead baby to La Paz. They silently walk to the water's edge and Kino take the pearl and fling it into the sea.

Last week I had read an article entitle 'Quantity Surveying Graduates And Their Job Involvement'. This article is about although the work volume in the construction industry in recent years in Malaysia had been decreased but quantity surveyors still enjoyed relatively good demand.
The purpose of the research is to find out the number of quantity surveying graduates joining the quantity surveying consultants firms, construction firms and property developer companies. In addition, the research aimed to study the reason based on their choice.
According to the survey, it can be conclude that quantity surveying graduates enjoyed high demand in the labour market, they were certain about their career progression and managed to suit themself to the job environment. However, the majority were not interested to be registered quantity surveyors, preferring to be attracted to construction films instead.
In conclusion, the construction employers should give due consideration to the inclinations and priorities of young graduates if they want to attract and retain the promising ones.

i had read the story motivational stories (short stories)
- THE 4 WIVES..

in this story the writer want to tell us about the meaning the 'wifes' that we have...

the 4th wife meaning our body...
merchant always keep the 1st wife (body) with full of robes and take care more than other wifes...
but when he close to his death..the 1st wife can not help him..

For the 3r d wife (possessions, status and wealth)...the writer want to tell are when we face difficulties in our life...most of them can solve by the money,status,possessions..
but all of this can not bring together with us when we died..all they gone......

for 2nd wife (family)..but don't understand what the writer want to tell,i cannot understand...i don't know about the other..

and the 1st wife (soul)....
this the most important thing in our life..
that thing cannot by or find anywhere..
so we must take care...
not take care like baby...
but must fill with good moral value...
because the soul judge by the god(ALLAH) after died...
so that we need to balance all of that...

aloha!!

just now i have read a short stories titled 'struggle'.

it's about a man who found two cocoons of butterflies. One day a small opening appeared on one of the cocoon.it seems that the butterfly going to get out of that cocoon. the man sat and watched the butterfly for a few hours as it struggled to force its body through the little hole. then the butterfly stop struggling from getting out of the cocoon.

Then the man decided to help the butterfly, so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly. he is expecting that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.

it doesn't happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.

the man caused the butterfly tormented for it's whole life.

then a few hours later after the first butterfly emerged, the second cocoon got an small opening.then the man watched about an hours.the butterfly then emerged from it's cocoon.

the man saw that the second butterfly didn't have any disabled external or internal organs.the butterfly seemed healthier than the first butterfly.

so,
the moral of the stories is that we need to struggle in our life so that we gain strength to go through our life.if natures allow us to go through our life without any obstacles,it would make cripple us.for example is the 1st butterfly.it has been disabled.
without obstacles we would not be as strong as we achieved right now.i am so sad because the butterfly will be tormented for the rest of it's life. hukhuk :-(

I already read a short story just now and it`s about a two frog. The sttory start with a group of frogs were traveling through the jungle and suddenly two of them felt into a deep hole. When the other frog saw how deep the hole, they told the two frogs that they will die in the hole. But the frog ignored the comments and tried to jump out of the hole with all their energy. The other frogs keep telling them to stop and die in piece because the hole is to deep and impossible for them to jump out of the hole.

Finally, one of the frogs had to hear to what the other frog said and gave up.He felt down and died.

The another frog continued to jump and finally made it out. Then the other frogs said "Did you not hear us".The frog explain that he was deaf and he thought they were encouraging him just now.

1.From the story I can conclude that there is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging
word to someone who is already down can make them up.

2.A destructive word to someone who is down can kill them.
Remember that........

I also was read a short story during my mid-sem break.
The title of the short story is Looking For A Rain Good by Bessie Head. The story is also good and fun. It about the African living.

From 1958, there is a seven-year drought in the land. Starvation is widespread. In despair, some people even kill themselves. Those who practice black magic make money by selling useless charm to desprete people.
Mokgobja and his family also suffer. However, his two little granddaughters continue to play happily. The girl's mother, Tiro and their aunt, Nesta break down under stress. They start screaming every night. Finally, Mokgogja remembers an ancient tribal ritual for ram. The whole family agrees to sacrifice the two girls, Neo and Boseyong, to the rain god, but no rain falls.
After the murder, the family members feel terrified. The villagers question the family about the missing girls. The police also ask them. Finally, the mother confess. Mokgobja and his son, Ramadi are sentenced to death. The others villagers feel that they too might have done the same thing.

hello my friends.....(^__^)

Ermmm...I think it is a nice story to be discuss here.

"ANWAR VS ARIF SHAH"

Who's going to be a winner???Who's going to be a new YB for Permatang Pauh???

ANWAR,
ex-TPM of Malaysia have been kick out from cabinet by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohd because of 'liwat' case and his good relationship with America. Do you think he is a good person to be our next PM??

For me???
I did like him before. You know it is not easy to be a 2nd important person in cabinet in such a young age. Take Najib as example,'dah nak putih kepala baru dpt pgg title TPM'. But Anwar still got a black head till now.
But I think it is not easy for him to win in this Tuesday. It is not easy because our life is like a wheel, sometime we're up and sometime we're down...

1) His homosexual scandal with Saiful Bukhari,a super hot story in Malaysia nor foreign country. Well just one day before 'penamaan calon' day, Saiful Bukhari did 'sumpah laknat'. You as a muslim, who're you going to trust???
For me,my vote goes to Saiful Bukhari. Althought I never met him before or have any relationship with him,'I'LL TRUST HIM'. It is not easy for someone like him to do 'sumpah laknat' in front of Malaysians. Besides, he also bring his family and his 'keturunan' in his 'sumpah',very brave man.Brave because of correct/right. That's why i trust him.

Then,Anwar don't want to 'sumpah' back to defend himself. If he is in bright side, why should he afraid to do that 'sumpah'.**thinking about that...

2) A lot of stupid project from PKR. Mega pigs project in Sepang as example. Well everyone knows that 'babi' aka 'khinzir' aka pig is a sensitive issue in Malaysia. But that new Selangor goverment 'gedik nak bela babi' until they want to spend RM100 million to rear that bitches. Maybe next 10 years,'babi lagi banyak dr manusia in Malaysia'. Eeuuwww not nice dude....

3) UiTM and Khalid. Emmm....akhir ye penyagak melayu da tunjuk belang. I'm not an UiTM's student(thanks god I'm UMPrian) but if I'm not wrong, that UiTM and it privilege to Malays is one of our 'perlembagaan'. Something that our AGONG(head-country) approved. and he(khalid) dgn selamba badak ye komen. wau very brave one. then...all uitm student duk busy mogok and tunjuk perasaan until study and kelas sume ke laut, ke sungai. huhu not a good sign for malays and malaysia.

well if i duk cite bad story jer..nnt org bising kate i ni pro kerajaan. so i think it is enough for anwar.

then...ARIF SHAH

multilingualism and 'buncit' person. He's not a very popular person in Malaysia but i think if he lost, he'll 'kalah tipis'. no liwat case, no rasuah case until now and no special relationship with America. so i think he is a small candidate to fight anwar but unusual small candidate. macam cili padi.

so good luck to both of you-Anwar and Arif shah....

"ANWAR VS ARIF SHAH"

So,the person who has won this election was Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim with a large of majority,15 561.

Barisan Nasional should not feel upset over Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s win in Permatang Pauh as the seat has always been his base, said Information Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek.

So,congratulation to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim...

MALAYSIAN GRADUATES' EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS

The main aim of this study was to identify the perception of employers concerning the employability skills needed in the job market and graduates’ perception of the employability skills that they currently possessed. Eleven variables that make up employability skills based on past research were examined in this study. However, only seven factors, which were the result of factor analysis, were considered. Data were collected through two different sets of questionnaires intended to gauge employers’ and graduates’ perceptions, respectively. The results of this study revealed that employers preferred to hire graduates from public universities. Moreover, graduates and employers placed similar importance in terms of the ranking of employability skills, where both employers and graduates perceived the order of importance of employability skills to be the same. However, there was a difference between employers’ and graduates’ perceptions for all seven employability factors, where employers rated graduates much lower in terms of mean rank. The results of this study also suggest that younger employers tend to be more favourable to graduates’ employability skills. The higher the job position of the employer within the organization, the higher are the expectations of graduates. Finally, recommendations were also included in this study.

The name 'Ramadhan' is the name of the ninth month that have in islamic calendar...And this month is to be the month that al-Quran was revealed to 'malaikat Jibril' which later revealed to prophet muhammad...

Ramadhan also the month were islam people do fasting from dawn until sunset...

At ramadhan month, there is a day that better than 1000 month which fall during the odd night in the last ten ramadhan..(so it can be either the 21, 23, 25, 27, or the 29 of Ramadan)..... but don't only just wait for this night, muslim are suggested to go to mosque, because every night in ramadhan month are full of blessing..

In addition of fasting, muslims also are suggested to read al-Quran,and go to mosque to do 'solat terawikh' after doing 'solat isyak'..

this month islam people also pay zakat each person...but usually the chief of the house will pay for their children..

Assalamualaikum..today i have read an artichle about "THE BEAUTIFUL RAMADAHAN"

This is the month where muslim waited every year. Yup the fasting month. Hooray! The month that is full of baraqah that we should seek and enjoy. This is the time when kids will give lots of excuses so that they are free from fasting. Ahaha I did give reasons and excuses during my childhood time. It’s fun. Sometimes we just make up stories such as stomachache, gastric and others.Hahaha it is so funny to flash back those times.

It is a must for us I think to buy lots of food and cook lots of food for berbuka time.

Hehehe... after buka puasa time, many people came out with lots of reasons like tired, and so on. Why? Because it is TERAWIH time!!! After break the fast it is good for muslim to go and perform Maghrib prayer later followed by Terawih prayer.

Oh yer, in this month also, towards the end we will see millions of people going out for shopping, coz its Raya time...

thats all from me..have a nice ramadhan..
